Had the meat platter for 4 (it was huge and easily fed 6 of us), Greek salad, grilled octopus and dips. Loved it all. Great food and vibes.

Went to dinner here with some family members. The portion sizes are incredibly generous. We ordered two meat platters for two and shared them between 6 people (still had left overs). The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The meat was tasty and succulent.

Fantastic Greek cuisine with matching service. We came for dinner mid week and we're surprised at how popular dining here was. Many family groups with lots of happy catch ups around us. For our meals we had a platter for one along with some octopus and meatballs which came to our table surprisingly quick as it was almost a full house. The meat was cooked perfectly and overall everything was delicious. Portions were oversized and very good value as we took leftovers home! The wait staff were super attentive and made dining a pleasure. Thanks for having us.

My new favourite Greek Restaurant in Sydney. Stopped in on a whim and they happily accommodated us. The place was filled with families and there was lots of laughter and happiness throughout the entire restaurant. Then came the food! Wow, their Grilled Octopus was so succulent and soft, with little pops of grilled bits and a simple yet so flavoursome dressing that the dish was devoured in record time. Just amazing. Then came the main course, which we shared as the wait staff said they were big meals. True to her word, the meat platter came out and it was everything I wanted it to be. Beautifully cooked meats, zesty tzatziki, chips and salad. So much food. It was truly amazing. The laughter from the families made the atmosphere feel just like the little place we found in Mykonos, just with I could have had some Tsipouro and made a night of it. What a great find, we’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious and portions were huge! Come hungry! We had the mixed meat platter for two and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely coming back!

Delicious Greek food. A lot of food options from a selection of meats, veggies and seafoods. The dips platter was really good, love the grilled octopus, the shrimps were okay but the meats were so succulent. The place was packed so it gets noisy inside. But you know it's good when the staff had to decline walk-ins as they are booked the whole night, we were lucky we arrived before it got busy so was able to get a table but we're only given an hour to stay.

We’ve been a few times now, and Yiamas has become our favourite Greek restaurant! It’s really authentic, the staff are mostly Greek / Greek speaking as well, and they are fast, efficient and friendly. It’s always busy, the food is great and servings large. When going to a Greek restaurant, I want to feel like I’ve been transported to Greece for the evening, and Yiamas does exactly that. We will be back again soon!

I went here for a big party, they had lovely staff who took specific drink orders and delivered quickly. The set menu provided a large range of food and tasted very good, my favourites were the squid and greek salad.

Very lively restaurant with great greek food! I particularly liked their greek salad and how they serve pita bread warm. Kids friendly as well (they have high chair), but if you're bringing prams, better to let them know in advance due to the limited space.

Called last minute on a Thursday to schedule dinner and the staff were very welcoming. Arrived 30 minutes later and the food was great, staff were friendly and the service was prompt. Would happily return and recommend to others.

Loved every part of this restaurant, from the food to the service, I was very impressed. Prices are not expensive nor cheap either although, the serving sizes were generous, very worth your money. The atmosphere was lively as it gets busy on weekends. Could not fault the service as the wait time for food was short and staff were very caring. The location is okay with few parking spots depending on time of day, not much of a view although, I cannot fault the restaurant.

4.5 Stars. We ordered the Set Menu for 2 and it did not disappoint. Classic Greek meat with chips, pita and salad. Unless you come with 3 super hungry people, the Set Menu for 2 will probably be enough for 3 people. The pricing is pretty good.

Arrived without a booking at 7pm on a Saturday night and was VERY lucky to find a seat - BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL it seems! Lamb souvlaki was delicious and portions were ample. My husband has the pork chops and he was in 7th heaven. We didn’t have room for dessert but it looked so good - we might come back for a dessert dinner soon. The service was friendly and helpful and it was evident that it is an establishment which is an institution- well done!

First thing that was noticed was the service. Didn't have to wait long before staff attended to our table, ensured we could order in a timely manner and continuously checking if we needed something. Service of food was pretty quick and came at the right times. Excellent. Food was tasty and ample serves. Meat and seafood platters were delicious. Dips and deserts lovely. Prawns in ouzo sauce on point. Alcohol was reasonably priced when compared with other eateries in Sydney. Music was evident but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Overall a great experience. Well done Yiamas.

Been here many times. Food is very good. The meat platter is probably the way to go. Dips are fresh and service is good. Need to wave the waiters/waitress down but are pretty fast with service. The place can get a little noisy.

Absolutely disappointing and overrated. It took over 2 hours to put the meat platters on the table. I am not even over exaggerating! And one of the staff yelled at us blaming us for it being busy when she was the one who overbooked!! 3 different events in the same function room! Not acceptable plus the air-conditioning wasn't working! They told us we booked during changeover when that wasn't our responsibly to know this especially when we gave plenty of notice!! Just say no and we would of been happy to book somewhere else.

Really delicious, tasty greek food. A wide rage of options with a la carte, platters to share and desserts, we had a fantastic meal with friends last night. So much food we took it home. Meats so succulent. Recommended!

Been a few times food is amazing. We go out in larges groups this place never disappoints. Customer service here cannot be faulted. Absolutely value for money as well. ❤️

Average food. The place was packed- more of a ‘pub diner’ feel than a restaurant. My wife is vegetarian- there were hardly any dishes for her (very meat heavy menu), so not really for us unfortunately.

Were do i start! The service is phenomenal. We came in a group of 10 with pram and need of high chairs. We were well taken care of. We had so step out for 15 minutes. Our food arrived but it was kept warm while we were outside. The food was just delicious. From the bread, dips and Lamb/pork. Must visit greek restaurant
