Let's face it, I'll give 5 🌟 to most breweries. There my kind of thing Willie the boatman is also good because there beer can't be found in stores much so you get something here you can't get most places. They have a good range of standard beers as well as some limited editions both in can and on tap. They are doing the covid safe thing for Sydney this weekend and the staff are good at it. It is family friendly and dogs are allowed.

"Willie the Boatman" is an Excellent place to spend time while having a few cold ones! Girls behind the taps "Sarah and Rhi" are great. They were great, easy to talk to, fun and fast when pouring your drink. Will get back later to try more samples.

Pat and Kellie at Willie the Boatman were both extremely helpful and understood our relaxed vibe for the wedding. The venue is incredibly charming and picturesque, and you don't have to do a single thing to add to your wedding here – it's all set up and ready to go. Oscar the barman was a hit, he played our music while shaking up cocktails and pouring beers. But the absolute standout was Ava, she was incredibly helpful and pleasant and honestly made us feel so welcome. It didn't feel like she was working; it felt like she was there to celebrate with us, which was so nice! The customer service at Willie the Boatman is truly excellent. It's also worth noting that the venue is LGBTQ+ friendly, which was important to us and made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Willie the Boatman to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable wedding venue.

Great atmosphere and awesome NEIPAs. I visited 7 brew pubs in Marrickville and this was my favourite.

Nice little brewery here! It's really tucked away so make sure you walk all the way around and follow the signs. Inside has funky decor, but can be quite warm in there... The Marrickville larger was perfect after a hot walk getting there. Friendly staff too

Unreal experience tonight, bar tender was amazing (I think her name was Rhi) all beers were delicious... The only time I remember being this happy was when I saw the scene from Indiana Jones where he rips the heart out.... Beers were also delicious

Picked up a 4 pack of their '80% Cooked' down here in Canberra. I Hadn't heard of the brewery before. The 4.8% Pale Ale with a tropical fruit flavour is excellent. Perfect for a Summer evening BBQ. I'll be looking out for more of their beers!

Perfect place to enjoy a day/night out here. Love the beers, friendly staff and most importantly they welcome dogs too! 🐕 If I had to wish for one thing is to have better food options.

Very good brewery slightly hidden away in the alleys of Precinct 75. Friendly staff, fast service. Decent beers on the pumps. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Seems very popular. There is a toilet but you have to walk outside and go to the Precinct 75 toilets.

Probably the best pub I’ve been to in Australia so far. Honoured to call it my local. All the bar tenders are lovely, easy going and extremely friendly.

Willie the Boatman is the best place to spend time with friends and celebrate. We booked Willie for a very special occasion on the weekend, and not only did we get to celebrate with our close friends or family, but felt like Willie the Boatman was celebrating right alongside with us. Incredible vibe, amazing aesthetic, super cool decor and the staff are second to none with customer service. Highly highly recommend Willie the Boatman for your special occasion, or just to pop in and feel at home! (They have beer for every style and preference, and usually have Sydney's best food trucks as well!)

Very nice small brewery in Sydney. It was in the run and brewery tour. Good variety of beer so everyone can enjoy something at Willie the Boatman! There are good food offerings in the tank room, but take head... The spicy fries are really spicy! Enjoy the good beer and happy and informative staff.

Visited this little GEM of a brewery the other day for a Locksmithing conference/meeting and I was pleasantly surprised at their range of beers and the layout of the brewery. I had a Cherry SOUR, apple SOUR and a lager, all were nice. The cherry SOUR was the best one of the lot. Id like to go back again in the future.

As you approach the smell of malt wets the appetite. The beers are well brewed by a clearly skilled team. A must if you’re in the area.

You can’t go wrong when you’re drinking a Willie. Every time I go here it’s always a pleasant experience. They offer a solid selection and their beer is always on target. Can we also talk about the team here? Top grade of folks that run this establishment and work behind the taps.

The bar is out of this world, absolutely amazing, I thought I was in a movie. Imported at a great expense I'm sure. A little tucked away in the 75th precinct. But the beer is worth it, The Hazy IPA being my favourite and the Albo is actually a great recipe with corn. The lychee cocktail is really good too. Re: Merch $40 T-shirts that haven't been re-stocked in 6 months. Told to buy them online. But they are $50 online plus shipping? I wanted a take away Growler. Lucky I had my own. I was given a not full growler shown in pic for $40 I was absolutely gutted. Most decent breweries realise that people buying growlers are beer connoisseurs, trying to save the environment and hoping to get a better deal than buying a 4 pack but Not at Willie the Boatman... It's not for me, too expensive. This is the reason for 2⭐️ staff is friendly and helpful but they work under management rule that is ridiculous in my opinion...

By far the best brewery in the inner-west! Tasty beer & the friendliest staff. Would highly recommend :-)

It's a little tucked away from the rest of the Marrickville breweries but not too far from P/T. We came on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet, which was actually quite nice. There's two seating areas with ample of space. We ordered a few paddles and the beer is pretty decent. The service is also pretty solid.

Awesome spot for a couple of lazy sunny sat’dee arvo brews. Great banter and service from the bar staff, especially rhirhi. Fans blowing some air about to help cool you off, food trucks on constant rotation to keep you fed, dog friendly for all the pats. What more could anyone want?

Amazing beers in an even more amazing setting and ambience. The staff are incredible and make you feel at home. Favourite brewery with lots of character!
