Steel Park was a very beautiful place to hang out for morning tea for all people. Everyone can enjoy the walk by the river to see the awesome view of the house nearby. The kids could hang out in the playground so that they could enjoy the slides with parents' supervision. Overall, they were toilet BBQ refill bottles for the ecological environment for a sustainable future. In general, the park is an open space safe for everyone to enjoy the day.

A lovely park out-of-the-way from the Merrickville, busy streets, enjoyable for parents, and children of all ages. Not really a place for people without children, but the kids seem to really enjoy it a lot. The water futures are limited but enough to have fun for a few hours if you need a place to pass the time on the weekend afternoon.

Steel Park is an amazing place that is nice, clean, and a fun area to play, including we played badminton, which it was a nice time. This is one of the examples of the best park I've ever seen. Great place to go. I recommend it.

A lovely local park!!! Not only is there a wide range of fun and entertaining pieces of play equipment, there are also numerous paths along the river for cyclists/joggers/walkers to travel along! The playground area includes a large flying fox, some standard playing equipment and even a water park. This place is the perfect park for children with endless entertainment. It is also suitable for adults, a nice location to host social gatherings. There are many tables undercover, allowing for social experiences even in wet weather, as well as barbecue tables. The park has towering, thriving trees providing a lovely shade, as well as a splendid view across the river and its bordering houses.

Steel park is a big recreational area that is home to water play parks, sports grounds, included picnic tables with barbecues and a playground offering slides and swings. You’ll additionally discover the Debbie & abbey Borgia network exercise centre, outside gyms and access to the cook's river cycleway.

Steel park is a great place to entertain the kids, lots of equipment, mostly standard playground fare, with a flying fox for the bigger kids. In Summer months there is a water play area that kids of all ages really enjoy. Bonus: it is right next to Cooks river, giving loads of exploration for the adventurous kids and the cycle and walking path makes self powered access a breeze. Bonus bonus: there is a short walk to a path side exercise area. Bonus bonus bonus: just across the bridge is a chocolate shop cafe well known for their hot chocolates. Negative: although there is a toilet block it is not winning any awards.

The carousel-like facility caused serious accident in other parks nearby and there is a problematic feature in this facility at this park. Despite reports a few years back it is not addressed. I hope the IWCouncil moves on those reports quickly, preventing avoidable serious injuries for children.

Nice park. Great for small children as there is a mini water playground and a playground. For the adults there are bbqs around to enjoy the nice atmosphere of the park with some tasty food. There is a long path all the way to tempe train station you can go for a run, walk or a bike ride and it loops around back to the play area. Nice and relaxing!!

Toilets were very untidy. Seems like overall the park was not taken care of as much as should be. The water play area also had a big puddle of mud, and kids being kids very getting themselves all dirty. The sitting area was also not tidy ebough, benches were quite dirty. Overall there was a weired smell all over the place, some of it was due to the filty toilets and some I believe was from the river running along the park.

Great little family park situated on the Cooks River. A great stop on the Cook River walk, you'll find public toilets, gas BBQ, a little trickling water sculpture that the kids can play in. Plenty of green grass and trees to lay around and a sports oval if sports is your thing.

Such a great park. The water play area is simply hours of fun in good weather. This park has many pieces of equipment you won't find in other parks. There is a small carpark but ample street parking. My one criticism if the lack of shade. Otherwise it is a definite favourite.

Steel Park was a pleasant surprise. Tucked away on one side of Cook's River there is a great playground for kids, only part of it is fenced off so kids will still need an eye kept on them. There's also a small area for parties and BBQs. I can imagine it will be even better in summer when the waterpark is active and probably super busy too.

I recently visited a steel park that had so much to offer for everyone in the family. This park was truly a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly outdoor activity. First of all, the park had a great little water park area, which was perfect for kids to cool off on hot days. The water features were safe and well-maintained, and there was plenty of seating available for parents to relax and watch their children play. In addition to the water park, the park also had a fantastic playground that was well-suited for kids of all ages. There were plenty of swings, slides, and climbing structures to keep children entertained for hours on end. For those who were feeling a bit more adventurous, the park also had a flying fox that was a lot of fun to ride. In terms of sports, the park had a large field that was perfect for playing soccer, frisbee, or any other sport you might enjoy. The field was well-maintained and provided plenty of space for groups of all sizes. The park also had some nice walking paths along the water that were great for taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying a picnic with family and friends. Overall, I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly outdoor activity. The water park, playground, flying fox, sports field, and scenic walks along the water made for a well-rounded experience that was enjoyed by everyone. The park was clean, well-maintained, and had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that made for a truly enjoyable day out.

Not a big fun of this park. We had soccer match few weeks ago and the field is full of holes and uneven grass. Players are easily injured. But the good thing is it has water park there.

Really well kept park which gets cleaned regularly. Lovely place for a party, although you need to get there before 8am to reserve a table. Water park is great for toddlers but only really starts after 9:15am
