The suite was fantastic. It was clean and spacious, and was everything a five star suite should be. There were excellent views of the airport while having minimal noise. The location is excellent, with supermarkets, restaurants and Mascot Station within walking distance. The suite was affordable, and the staff were very efficient, allowing for early check in.

Stayed here recently for 13 nights. Room was a King Suite and spacious. The only down side was bed linen was changed only once after a week and had to keep asking for fresh towels and other amenities during my stay. We also had to throw away rubbish that was collecting and floors were not vacuumed at all. I understand we are living in a Pandemic situation but couldn't help feeling neglected. For a high rate paid per day one should expect better service than this.

I got chocked with the awful reception we had. I have been in lots of hotels, since I was kid, all around the world. Never seen worse receptionist. A bit of training about what it is working in a hotel, would be appreciated.

Had the best stay here. Everything from check in until check out was smooth. Super spacious room, great amenity, amazing location. Definitely worth the money (and not that expensive either). Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Sydney.

The Meriton suites, an excellent home away from home, at the most affordable prices. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well packed, among extremely comfortable and overall a very enjoyable stay. The location couldn't be beaten, not only is there a wide range of delicious Asian restaurants minutes walk away. The train station is a 3 minute walk, then under a 10 minute ride to the city. Reception was extremely accommodating with an early check-in, and made the whole experience such a memorable time.

I was lucky enough to spend my 14-day quarantine here. The property is lovely, the apartments are spacious and have everything you could want, washer and dryer, full kitchen (cooker/oven unavailable during my stay), work area, great wifi, very comfortable beds, living area, balcony. It was well worth the money. Surprisingly for modern apartment areas, it's very lively on the ground, with restaurants and garden seating.

My kids loved the place for its amenities and services. Well furnished, rooms are spacious, neat and tidy. Have a adjoining balcony to have a chance to spectacular view of the city.

Excellent, absolutely fantastic, we didn't get a chance to explore the spa/pool unfortunately so will look forward to taking a spa next stay. Way better than Novatel!!! Staff were extremely helpful and understanding! Is a first class place to stay!!!

Can't fault things. Excellent location, good price, very well appointed suite. Pricing beats the usual airport room rip-off. Very good local retail.

Firm mattresses. Wonderful shower. Well insulated; can't hear traffic. Nice pool, spa, steam room and gym but entire 3rd floor strongly scented by chlorine. Do not have clothes drying racks or dish towels in the room despite kitchen and laundry facilities. Highly convenient location near large amount of restaurants, grocery store, and Mascot Station.

We decided to stay here as we had to travel to Sydney before flying overseas. A fantastic location, a short taxi trip from the airport, the Meriton Suites has so many great places to eat and the rooms are large and comfortable and the service is 5 star. I highly recommend staying here. Great views from the observation deck

Our flight got in at 5 am but they were able to give us a suite for very early check-in, thank you! It's much appreciated after a 28-hour journey. Front desk was efficient at check-in. Suite is modern and spacious. Room 320 is a corner room so there's plenty of light and a balcony. Lots of shelf space for long-staying guests. Excellent location with plenty of Asian restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shops, train station all within a 5-minute walk. Towels changed every 3 days which is fine but beddings only every 6 days which is totally inadequate for a 4* property! Our room faced a busy street so it can get noisy as windows are not double glazed. More hooks needed.

It's a great hotel, with nice and well kept rooms, especially the suites. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym are a really nice plus, and it's surrounded by a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from. The rooms are well insulated, so the planes from the nearby airport don't bother you.

Suite 1224 has all the usual Meriton facilities: comfortable bed, comfortable living, large bathroom. It also has a full balcony that looks out over the garden area between the other apartment buildings beside. Perfect for this old guy.

I stayed with my 1 year old daughter and my wife. There was a washer/dryer, a full kitchen, and a supermarket a minute's walk away, so I was able to stay like I was living there. Mascot station and bus stop can be reached in a few minutes on foot, and there is a lift at the station, so there was no problem with a stroller. Taxis with child seats are convenient from the airport. From Terminal 1 it cost AU$58 and to Terminal 3 it cost AU$21. I think I was ripped off from Terminal 1. Please be careful.

Having stayed short term (overnight), for a week and long term (over 3 months) at four different Meriton Suite Hotels in Sydney (all great), the Meriton Mascot Central is a real stand out. I'm often floating through Sydney for a couple of days up to a few months, and conclude that the location, cleanliness and brilliant and friendly customer service, be it at reception or around the hotel generally, makes this establishment a true home-away-from-home. Staff are 'solution-focussed' to any query I ever have - a sound reflection of great training, I think. Thanks and see you all again soon.

Very central. Close to Mascot station. Easy to and from airport terminals. For once the rooms matched the photos. Staff very friendly and professional. Stayed twice and not disappointed. Traffic can be loud.

Close to the airport. Can't hear the planes..Nice room with a balcony. Room was clean with kitchen, gas stove, microwave, washer dryer and iron. TV in bedroom as well as main room. Plenty of pillows in the bedroom. Air conditioning with separate control for bedroom. There is an observation deck on level 14 where you can see the airport and a small garden deck on level 11 with a bench style table you could have an outdoor picnic at.

Stayed here on my last night as it's located nearby the airport, has good facilities (incl. washing machine and tumble dryer) and was good value. The rooms are equipped with almost everything one could ask for. The staff were very friendly.

this hotel is Meriton showing off, i've been to hundreds all over the world and this place is the picture of superb. incredible value for the spend, this place is cheaper than rent in lots of places and it's still new! front desk a beauty of design aesthetic and staff definitely switched on, kudos

Perfect accommodation for my wife and I. Had probably the cheapest room in the hotel but it was really clean had great amenities, great view down the mall and couldn't want for anything more. Fantastic position with Woolworths and chemist really close, cafes and restaurants as well and the train station a 5-iron away. We have found our accommodation in Sydney and highly recommend it.

Liked it so much we came back. 2 minutes from shops, restaurants and the station for direct access to the airport and downtown. The rooms are big and well equipped and the pool is a great bonus.

One of my favourite Meritons by far!! The service is incredible, the waiting room for guests is an absolutely awesome idea as some rooms aren’t ready till 3pm. The hotel facilities are amazing.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill post pandemic. We booked a 3 week stay and ended up leaving on the first day. Upon check-in, we noticed that the room smelled quite bad, that the fridge hadn't been cleaned, various stains on the carpet and walls in the bedroom and that the toilet was filthy (faeces on and under the seat). We requested a room change and were moved to the adjacent room where the smell was slightly worse and the fridge and bathroom also looked unclean. What a joke.

Great value for money and location. The room however, was lacking the finesse of other Meriton apartments we stayed at. Overall, an enjoyable stay for our needs at this time.

Stayed on 27 and 28 May with my young boys for plane watching and train riding. The room allocated to us was unbelievably good, ready at 11.30am and had the best view of the airport. The Meriton precinct is also really handy with a Woolies and various eateries all very close by. Thank you team for the room with such a great view of the airport. We watched a LOT of planes take off. My boys aged 5 and 7 said we must come back soon

Not a five star hotel. The room floor was sticky and it smelled of cigarettes, we could tell some of the bedroom furniture was missing because there were no drawers anywhere. We got the sense that the room was used for a party and it definitely smelled like it.

Loved almost everything about this place. We had three nights in September and the location and convenience enabled us to get a really good visit to Sydney. Still has a "new" feel even though wear and tear is beginning to show. Any issues were promptly dealt with by the attentive staff. Great kitchen with dining table, large living area with proper long sofa, cozy, quiet, DARK bedroom with nice linens and a second TV. Beautiful bathroom but strangely only one single towel rail (!) Full laundry a godsend after a week on the road. Would stay here again.

I recently stayed at Meriton Suites Mascot Central, and it left a positive impression on me. The location is highly convenient, situated right next to Mascot Rail station, providing quick rail access to both the airport and Sydney's CBD. One notable feature is the ample dining and grocery options within walking distance. There's a range of choices, from cafes to local eateries and well-stocked supermarkets. For those interested in venturing beyond the city, the nearby M8 motorway offers easy access to the southern and western regions of Sydney, making it a practical choice for road trips. The rooms at Meriton Suites Mascot Central are modern and comfortable with stylish decor and well-appointed amenities. Overall, I had a great experience and would consider staying here again. If you're looking for a well-located, comfortable place in Sydney, it's worth considering.

Super handy to airport, public transport to CBD & surrounds, supermarket, cafes & restaurants. The staff are so friendly & helpful! The rooms are spacious & having a kitchen & laundry makes it budget friendly. The comfortable bed is welcome after a day of travelling. The pool, gym, & outdoor coutyard on level 11 are great.

Stayed here for 1 night before an early morning flight. The room was spacious and clean. It was safe for a toddler. I liked that there was a starter pack of dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent as well as bathroom products. Didn't get a chance to use the pool/gym so hoepfully next time. The hotel doesn't offer a fee free payment method (they claim it is due to cash/covid), however, they provide toilet rolls & tissues leftover from the previous guest.

Rude and unfriendly staff, their attitude and actual reply to a question you don't like it they are happy to cancel your booking right there and then with no consideration of where you will go next. Security guard early in the morning was more interested in talking to friends on the mobile then answer your question. Highly recommend to STAY AWAY from here.

  • 5/5 RIckie R. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice and cozy. Too bad they don't provide the daily service and using covid as an excuse. I think that time has passed.

Awesome apartments super close to Sydney Airport.

  • 1/5 Gecko A. 2 years ago on Google
Company misplaced our exercise bikes and claimed it wasn't there fault for giving it away to another company, stuffed a small business out of over $600 in the middle of COVID. I would recommend reconsidering whether you work with an organisation worth billions of dollars and not willing to be accountable for their mistakes.

Had great experience for staying. Nice, clean and quiet. Enjoy the morning sun at balcony, and sunset at observation deck. Rooftop garden is beautiful. Convenient location, walk 5mins to train station. Restaurants, cafe and supermarket all around the building. Disability friendly too. Highly recommend ❤️

Great location with Woolworths and plenty of eateries right new door. Spacious clean rooms. Washer and dryer included. Nice little balcony. Separate lounge with large TV. Little kitchen with dishwasher. Comfortable bed.

The cleanliness is not good. There are too many small insects flying in the room. We have been staying in the room for 7 nights without any housekeeping services, even nobody takes care of the rubbish, so we need to take care by ourselves. I had been there before in 2019. The suite was so nice. It makes me so disappointing this time.

Staff were nice and it’s in a good location, however very poor cleanliness in relation to the bed linen. After arriving late from an international flight and just wanting to sleep, we had to move rooms after we found stains on the bed and a hair in the sheets. The room we were moved to was smaller and smelt like smoke in the bedroom.

  • 2/5 Jan M. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely spacious room with kitchen, near great restaurants, staff were very pleasant and helpful. As others have mentioned though, the cleanliness is a real issue, there are just no excuses for the very poor standard. On site packing was a bonus.

Staying in the apartment at the moment.Air condition wasn’t working on our arrival. We reported to reception and they sent someone straight away to fix it up. That was good. Tried to make coffee on afternoon but coffee machine wasn’t working and I had to call and ask for instant coffee sachets and they did send someone to bring us a coffee. And just now find out that water in the bathroom sink basin is not draining and staying in the sink for a long time. Looks like it’s some blockage there. Someone came to check up and the guy said problem is because pipes are small and water is not draining fast enough. Don’t understand his explanation as we were staying here before and didn’t have that problem. Looks like it’s not my day. Lucky me as I am staying here only one night. Happy to check out of this place tomorrow.

We had our 1 year old with us. We thought we could have a mini vacation away from home for our anniversary. Luckily our daughter wasn’t sleeping well that night. It was around midnight when the hallway and the wardrobe in the room became flooded. The washing machine I had used was broken and was excessively leaking water. Even after all the machines had been turned off. I don’t know what happened but some of the clothing in the room became damaged from the excess as well as shoes. I was worried because if we had slept through our daughter sleeping in the cot is the closest to the ground so it would have been worse news if anything happened. They had us moved to different rooms. First room was small and had no balcony and second room had the balcony facing the highway so was very noisy. It was 12:45am by the time we settled into the new room and we were all exhausted. I had told them the next day I want a room exactly what I paid for not near a highway. We had to leave the room at 10:30am and be back at 2pm for the next room to be ready. All the manager could offer at the time was free parking and extended check out for the situation that happened. Me and my husband decided not to stay the second night and left with a refund which they were VERY reluctant to give for the second night. We’ve stayed at this hotel before and other Meriton hotels previously and had such great experiences but this has been the worse experience by far.

Excellent room, with all cooking cleaning and washing amenities included. Very comfortable kingbed. Helpful staff. Steam and spa was a bonus. Didn't use the gym or pool this time. Thos hotel appeared superior in quality, but services and pricing! Easy recommendation.

Came to hotel very early, was checked in within half an hour, the receptionist put herself out to book us in even though we were 4 hours early. Fabulous rooms and facilities which is typical of meritan suits. Fabulous roof garden and pool.

Booked a room for myself and my parents. My parents’ TV was broken and the maintenance guy was already gone for the day. The next day a woman came into the room while my parents were napping and started putting the towels on the floor before even checking that someone was in the room. My parents told her it wasn’t needed and she left (but also left the towels on the floor and didn’t bring new ones). Then, on my last night before having to do a 5 hour drive, the people next door decided to use the dryer at 10PM. I warned reception who went to knock and I’m guessing no one answered as the dryer went on from 10PM to 6.30AM, waking me every 20 minutes with loud ‘CLUNK’ noises. I told reception again in the morning and all I was told was ‘hopefully it won’t happen next time’. There definitely won’t be a next time. The carpet in the room looked disgusting as well and apart from light vacuuming, I doubt they do any carpet washing. One of the TV remotes was missing the battery cover and just the overall maintenance for the price wasn’t up to standard. Location was nice though.

Large space, very clean and modern. Has all the amenities we need. Also has a washing machine and dryer. Close to public transport. So convenient to get to the city and airport. We will come back again. Would definitely recommend.

Close by the airport with all facilities around. Nice neighbourhood. Train to the city within walking distance. Beautiful appartment with quality appliances , facilities and services. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cannot fault it for the price. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable bed in a comfortable apartment. Well equipped kitchen included full oven and a range of utensils. Additional items available by request: Stickers in cupboards show lists of what is available. TV in both living and bedrooms. Desk and chair reasonably comfortable for short periods, as is balcony dining setting. Clothes dryer is very loud, so need to be thoughtful about timing of use. Soundproofing seems effective for everything else. Pool is cold, spa is great, sauna needs a warm up before use. Staff very friendly sounding and quite helpful, but perhaps not great at listening and not very quick to respond. Eg. I asked for a sewing kit in the evening, they said they’d send it up, I called back an hour later, again they said they’d send it up. I said I’d prefer to have it within half an hour, but I HAD to have it by 5am. Waited another hour before giving up and going to bed. Thankfully I found it tied to my door handle in the morning, and they provided 3 of them 😐 Called from the pool to say the spa wasn’t working and somehow she thought I said telephone. Read the signage and fixed the spa myself. (Twisted the emergency stop button and it started) On-site parking, shared with other businesses, is not very convenient layout and sometimes full. ($30/day lasts until after checkout time) Very handy location, with Woolworths and cafes 5 minutes walk. Rooftop garden a small but pleasant spot. Viewing deck gives view of planes at airport and includes binoculars.

Nicely appointed room and great location. Only had one complaint. One of my bath towels had numerous black stains. How it got laundered and placed in my room is confusing to say the least. When returning it at the front desk their only question was "How did you get that?". But I would stay here again when in the area.

Rooms spacious, clean and stocked with amenities on arrival, beware though… rooms only seem to be serviced once a week and only small bins provided. You can get extra room amenities and towels but you need to ask, and you need to dispose of your own rubbish somehow…. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. More like unserviced apartments than a hotel.

  • 2/5 Kat A. 10 months ago on Google
In short: I wouldn't come back here, too many other good serviced apartments in the same location. The pros convenient location and beautiful reception area. Cons: They don't service rooms daily and they do not have a bin for your kitchen! Gym equipment is old and my room 1205 was on the lifts which woke me up every night. In long: I stayed 5 nights - there is a full kitchen, but no bin! There is a tiny one under the study desk adjacent to the kitchen, which I might add doesn't even have a rubbish bag in it. This woulnd't be a problem if you had someone coming to the room daily like the majority of serviced apartments to clear the rubbish away 0 but no! No one came. On day 3 I called them to ask why my room wasn't being serviced as there is a book of information in the room about the hotel and that says it will be done daily. The lady at reception said, during a 5 night stay it would only be done once. I told her how I had all this rubbish and she said someone will do my room tomorrow and can take it then!! So even with me calling they wouldn't take it away. She did say if I needed any fresh towels or amenities they could send that to my room, but taking away rubbish wouldn't happen until my 1x express tidy service :-/ At least put in a proper bin if you aren't going to clean away rubbish daily. I also wouldn't come back for the gym - very old equipment and tiny room. I was also unlucky to be in room 1205, which is literally across from the lift, so 4am each morning I was woken up by the lift noises and others checking out.

Spacious and clean suites conveniently located close to the airport. I called guest services several times from my room but my call never got picked up. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Jess and Blake (who helped us with tv) were very friendly, helpful and they made our stay a wonderful time. The hotel is in amazing location, very close to the station and you have a shop/cafes right next to it. We loved our room. Thank you for having us. We will be back.

I stayed here on 3 occasions in the last month. First time was fabulous...couldn't fault it. The second time was pretty good too but there was a party in the neighbouring building which kept me awake. And then the third time was good too, except the room was a little run down. All in all a great place to stay, fab location, reasonable price and lovely staff.

Drain in shower did not drain fast enough resulting in water everywhere unless you kept turning water off for drain to catch up. I left my orthopaedic thongs either in the pool/spa area or in the room. But hotel staff said they could not be found. I find that hard to believe. Very small flies everywhere. In the loddy and in the room. Not 5 star service at all. I have received better service at a country comfort.
