I did not stay at the hotel. However, I was lost and searching for my hotel as my phone had died after flying in from overseas. The amazing staff were incredibly friendly and were able to charge my phone so I could find my way. These people know what customer service is! If this is how they treat non-guests then you're in for a special treat when you stay here. I will be staying here in the future when traveling. 6 stars!

Arrived to an unmade room, the bed had been slept in. Got moved to a new room only to find in the morning they had not changed our room number in the booking for the shuttle to the airport causing us to miss our shuttle. Luckily the hotel is close enough to the airport for us to be able to order a new shuttle and get to the airport on time. The restaurant was very average, not really worth the price.

Generous sized and modern rooms for a Holiday Inn. Biggles restaurant is ok for weary travellers. No fuss. Just beware of the airport shuttle which is $11 pp, infrequent, and needs advanced booking. Super inconvenient for a hotel that exists because of the airport.

We found this hotel to be a very good place for a lay over. it was very clean, the service was excellent, and the room was very nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you have a layover in Sydney .

First time staying at holiday in airport, Natalia and Melissa were so nice and helpful when check-in. Room was dark, quiet and large great when jet lagged. Even thinking of staying an extra night as been most comfortable place so far this trip.

The hotel seems fairly new and the rooms are well decorated and specced up. There is a restaurant on the ground floor to the right side of the main reception but this is a burger bar with a few burgers on the menu. and it closes at 10 pm, with last orders at 9:30 pm. Apparently there is also room service, although I am yet to try it. The order does have regular shuttle buses to the airport, which is a bonus.

Stayed here for a few hours. It's a very nice and clean place very close to the airport. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars only because they didn't have health faucets in the bathrooms. It is so essential for personal hygiene, so, the hotel, please take this suggestion seriously.

I have stayed in this hotel on a few occasions. The rooms are very very spacious and well appointed and the external soundproofing in terms of plane noise is quite good. The problem is the soundproofing between rooms. You can hear everything in the room next door. For me this is a problem. The hotel needs to improve their between room soundproofing. The location is great - quite handy to locations in Sydney and of course right near the airport. There are also some issues with the layout of the car park underneath the hotel. They need to have it remarked.

We had previously stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just down the road from this hotel. Value for money, the H.I. Express was much better: 1. Free hot and cold buffet breakfast 2. Free airport shuttle 3. Much less expensive but just as safe, clean and comfortable

Our airline put us up here as a result of a missed flight. We arrived late and left early the next day and as a result didn't get to see much of the hotel. Our room however was spacious and modern and clean with all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was provided for us also and was good. All of the staff we met and dealt with were friendly and helpful. Handy location close to the airport.

Hotel was great, room big and clean. Very well laid out. I didn't have noise for sleeping which is great for being so close to the airport. Shuttle bus is hard to find and you have to pre-book. I went back and forth a few times to arrive see someone off and go back for my flight. Where you get picked up is SUPER hard to find unless you know where it is. The driver on one of the trips was really rude about it to me and I actually had to say to him mate, a little kindness goes a long way, I don't live here and sorry I made you late but if you lived where I did I'm sure it's not as simple as it seems if I tried to tell you where to go. For that reason I'd likely stay somewhere else next time but otherwise it was a great hotel.

We have stayed here twice now. Rooms are clean and ok for the price. Location is great if you are having an early domestic flight, Just 15 minutes walk. If you only having small luggage or a backpack. But it may get a bit tricky if your suitcase is a big one as there are constraints and road works going on around Sydney airport. In that case either take a taxi. We only got the chance to have the Breakfast once as every time we have to go to airport very early. It's starts from 7am and food was average as I remember (may have changed now). Staff are generally friendly and helpful.

The reception team is phenomenal. They helped with missing toiletries, the delivered rooms service although I arrived at 2am, they gave me all the relevant info and offered a transfer service. The breakfast is great, good variety, very good options, and the coffee machine is really really good, no need to buy coffee, it makes all kinds of lattes and cappuccino very well, just ask for a paper cup from the staff to take away. The lunch and dinner were also very good, quality cooking and taste. It was a very pleasant experience. The shuttle service was also great, new bus, clean and the driver was very courteous. The room was clean, the pillows crisp but none of the plugs accommodate international travellers , so you have to have an Australian converter like I did, but it would be nice to have international options, but there are USBs on the walls for charging. The water in the shower tends to be too hot, at least for me, probably the ladies that like to bathe in lava it should be fine.

Orawan, kumuk and the restaurant teams in both the restaurant team and the breakfast area were absolutely brilliant. Stayed for 3 weeks. I travel a lot and I must say I very rarely encounter such a great group of people. I felt like I made friends with some of the team during my stay and everyone including the reception team were amazing! Thanks for taking such good care of me throughout my stay and I hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes to everyone at the hotel. Cheers, Pete 223

Huge thank you to the Holiday Inn team. We had another hotel say they offered a luggage-holding service we could use while on a 2-night trip to Cairns for a fee. The other hotel ended up saying they would not take our bags and we rushed last minute to book a room upon our return to Holiday inn. Holiday Inn held our bags free of charge and the rooms were fantastic. Thank you so much!!!

The room was comfortable however finding a staff member to assist, albeit at 6am, was akin to a needle in a haystack! The food at Biggles was ok. Checkout was abysmal. Again no staff. The breakfast bags that were supposed to be waiting were non-existent. All in all if you want to arrange everything yourself then Holiday Inn is fine for a clean, comfortable room to sleep.

The recent renovations of the rooms were great. Nice a spacious room and great simple amenities. Close to the airport and the train station. Good for a simple stay in Sydney.

After a delayed flight, missed connection and more hours of travel than we could count, we were SO grateful to finally check into this clean, modern hotel for a good night’s sleep before continuing on to Hobart! We liked it so much we stayed here again on the way back!

I stayed here compliments of qantas. The bathroom, toilet in particular, was not clean and therefore I didn't use the bed either. Hotel was full with all the delayed flights. Also, no shuttle before 5am so taxi for 4am check-in

Rooms have paper thin Walls - even thinner if you have an interconnecting room. Staff are polite and friendly but clothing went missing in my room. They didn't really seem to work outside the box to fix problems. Location is okay. Not too far from Mascot station and Woolworths. A short drive to all Sydney Airport terminals or 20 minute walk to the domestic terminals. Not top much immediately around in Mascot. Plenty of hotels a bit closer to the airport if you just need a room before or after a flight, but still a good choice if you're wanting to head into the city to see the sights while staying close to the airport.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. The included breakfast is good with lots of options. Room walls are thin as I could hear one room taking a shower and could hear the people in the other room next to me having normal conversations. The airport shuttle driver was super funny and great to chat with while on the way to the airport.

Decent Place to Stay with some room for improvement. Below are a few pros and cons: Pros: 1. Great Location 2. Polite and Friendly Staff 3. Convenient Onsite Parking 4. Rooms are very clean Cons: 1. Internet is a bit hit and miss. Good speeds when it works. 2. Even though rooms are very clean, they have started to look a bit old and need some refurb. 3. I understand that due to covid restrictions traditional breakfast at the restaurant was not offered. However, I had breakfast included in my package and was told that I can order up to $15 per person from the room service menu. There was nothing in the menu within the price range.

Great location and minutes walk to Mascot train station. Close by to Woolworths and some eatery. Room service isn't that good, have to remind over counter for room cleaning even though the tidy room card is hang outside door. However room is tidy & neat.

I recommend this hotel, it was great service, room clean as the pictures shown, good breakfast, I must congratulate on night manager and assistant, we arrived about 11.30 pm on the 16/04 without a booking, we could se they were busy with other customer; the older guy (sorry I don't know his name) looked at our eyes, we were desperate, we were exhausted, would have paid anything for a clean bed, "He said wait for me and I am going to help you..." that is exactly what he did, 2-3 min later he attended, they were fully booked but he find us a room with the surprise he did not take advantage of our situation at midnight, He charged us the promoted price and gave us free breakfast. We will never forget what He and Holidays Inn did for us on that special night.

We tried their breakfast buffet and it was decent. There were various savoury and sweet options, and everything was quite good. The pancake machine was fun to use and the pancakes were quite good too! Overall, not the best buffet out there, but if you are staying at the hotel, it’s a good option for breakfast.
