Stayed there twice on an Australian vacation last month. They got us into our room when we arrived from the US in the morning. Spacious rooms, convenient to train (except for the weekend TransportNSW shut down the "city circle" trains, but they have no control over that).

The entire experience of staying at the Meriton Suites was exquisite. They are a quality establishment. If you want to know how to really spoil yourself, then this is the place for you. Everything that you have at home is included here. 5 🌟 stars

Room was so spacious, clean and you can’t hear any traffic or noise from the airport despite it being so close. Fantastic place to stay if you need to be near the airport, but still very close to the city as well. The staff were also so friendly.

Good place to stay. Large rooms. Balcony for fresh air. High quality linen. Bathrooms were generous. Reception staff were amazing. One thing they could improve on was the seating in the reception. Every seat was very low to the ground, made it difficult for me, with some slight mobility issues. There was nowhere at all to sit where Is could have stood up again. I recommend this hotel.

Was pleasure to be able to experience this hotel. Sergio was so friendly also nice to me and my mom. He help us through the drama payment! :) The room is so perfect to stay especially with your family or your partner. Wonderful and clean place.. definitely recommended for the one who visit Sydney and wants to be close to the airport. Many restaurants around and 5 mins walking distance to Mascot Train Station.

As someone who grew up in Sydney and came to back visit for a few days, this hotel is probably the best of everything your gonna find in terms of price , location is spot on close to the city and inner city places like newtown, close to train station and airport, clean and comfortable apartments with everything you need. Highly underrated hotel.

Priced like a 5 star property but with 2 star service and 10am checkout? Won't make that mistake again. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable. Everything else is just at or below average. There are better options nearby.

About 5 min walk from Mascot station. Very easy to go to airport and to the city. Rooms are large with kitchen and washer and dryer. My favorite place to stay when I am in Sydney. Also their front desk staff are awesome, always trying to help.

Lovely stay I had here with my missus recently. Clean place, apartment-like hotel with stovetop, fridge, washing machine, dryer, etc. The place is just about 15 minutes from the Sydney CBD with light rails, and you just need to walk about 5 minutes to reach the nearest station (Mascot) and the nearest supermarket.

Only stayed the one night. Quite clean and staff was friendly . Just room service was very slow and whoever is at reception at the time forgot to tell room service or something so had to chase up a few times. It's very close to Airport and Mascot train station so it was convenient.

Great Hotel!! We were coming in from the USA on an early flight and the hotel did everything to make sure we got into our room as early as possible. The staff is great and the hotel has great amenities Highly recommended!! It also has the advantage of being close to public transit

Great place for a quick stopover. We used it en route for one night between domestic and international travel. Two-bedroom suite is perfect for a small family.

It is a great hotel to stay with a close proximity to the airport. The hotel offers a small gym and an indoor heated pool. There are some restaurants and mini markets within walking distance. Rooms are specious and clean including a washing machine, dryer, A.C in the bedroom and living room and a fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good WiFi I had a wonderful stay.

Good value accommodation in Mascot near to the airport. I had a large 1 bedroom suite that had an accessible bathroom. Room had a full kitchen including a compact dishwasher. Hotel had pool and gym. Parking was $30/night. Free wifi. Receptionist was great and clearly explained everything that I needed to know.

Spacious and comfortable suites with all the required inclusions. Check in experience was efficient, on street parking was available across this across the road. Very convenient place to stay before flying out on an early morning flight.

I'm back for a 2nd stay of 6 days . I love these apartments so roomy and luxurious and clean. Staff are great ever ready to accommodate your needs where possible. It's a comfy luxurious stay and very spacious, lovely being opposite the park too.

Close to Mascot station, not far from the airport by taxi. The room is clean and spacious. It was a comfortable and lovely stay.

Super close to the airport, great value for the price. We started in a full king suite and it was perfect for relaxing before a long flight.

The team were amazing! Gabby who checked us in was so helpful and carried our 8 super heavy suitcases up to and into our room, and on checkout Jane was amazingly helpful with booking our maxi taxi and going above and beyond. Thank you Meriton!

NO FREE WIFI. To access wifi here you have to agree to sell your personal information for marketing purposes. Be aware there’s no room service or minibar and very few restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Otherwise this could be a 4 star venue.

Meriton has always been my go to place as I love how friendly and accomodating the staff is. This particular one on Coward however, is the best. They make you feel at right at home, they seem sincere when engaging with you and are very accomodating with my sensible requests. Thank you Meriton Coward. 😊

Can not rate this place highly enough! Lewis and the team made our stay amazing. They treated us like we were the only guests in the hotel. Nothing was a problem and if we needed anything, it was provided straight away. The whole team were super helpful after we checked out but weren't flying until that night. They looked after our luggage and we were able to go back and print off our departure declarations. Thanks so much guys!

The location is good. The rooms were really comfortable and clean. But the service was not up to the mark. I tried calling the housekeeping multiple times but they never picked my call. We stayed for 2 nights. But they didn't refill the coffee or toiletries for the second day. Since they didn't pick the call we had to buy toiletries from outside. Excluding housekeeping our stay was very pleasant

Next time I will stay longer. I stayed here with my son and it was incredible. I have lived in one bedroom apartments that were less well appointed than my hotel room. I only booked a basic room and it was incredible. Try to get a room on level 2 - that's where the gym and pool are. There was so much I could do here. The room had a separate bedroom - a massive bed and a TV hidden in the wardrobe. If you needed you could have different people in different rooms watching different things. I watched a film while my son slept. We had a decent-sized courtyard outside that connected the lounge to the bedroom. It was one of the best apartments I've stayed in. Unbelievable at the price. On the way to the hotel my son had made a mess of his clothes, and a bottle of water had leaked in my luggage from the airport. I was a little worried about how we would get everything ready for our flight the next day, but our hotel had an amazing laundry with a dryer - and they even provided some laundry liquid. I couldn't believe the amount of thought that had gone into this apartment. We had a dishwasher, a coffee machine, bowls and everything. Really, next time, I'll stay longer. It was about a $10 Uber to the airport. Such a great location. They had luggage trolleys which were appreciated. There is a small gym with some basic stuff (what you'd expect for a hotel) but the pool is large - albeit pretty cold, a huge spa and an amazing dry Finnish sauna that could fit a sports team in it. Staying here would suit families, people on business, groups of friends looking for a place to relax together. It really had just about everything you could want. It doesn't have a restaurant, but there's one next door that serves pub meals and they offer room service too. They were a little understaffed when I was there, but they were doing their best and had great service. Highly recommended.

Overnight stay before an early morning flight. The location was very convenient about a 10-minute taxi ride to the international airport. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the amenities of the pool and gym. Thank you Mr. Big Yan Wat.

Meriton Suites fell short of what is expected of a five-star hotel, think twice before booking Below is our review from our stay between 4-11June 2022, relevant photos attached. 1) No daily housekeeping service This is the first time my family stayed at a hotel that does not provide daily housekeeping (change of towels, linens and replenishment of toiletries) due to “COVID-19 safety guidelines” (image 1, middle) as explained by the hotel, which seems ironic since the pandemic is extra particular about cleanliness and hygiene. We were only informed of this upon arrival at check in, in contradiction to our booking attachment (image 1, bottom). The hotel staff provided a slip of paper informing us of the services provided, which also indicated the halting of express service. However, the the booklet which was placed inside our suite indicated that express service will be provided daily (image 1, top). Confused, we approached the staff at the reception to clarify and confirm whether there was still the express service or not. To our dismay, the staff on duty became defensive and rudely cut our sentences off just to emphasize that there was no express service. 2) Poorly-maintained room The suite appeared spick and span on the surface, but it was not difficult to notice the dust on the bed linens and pillowcases if you take a closer look at them. A quick wipe on the surfaces of the built-in wardrobe and tables caused our wet tissue to turn grey and dirty. (image 2) It was not long before one of my family members developed an allergic rash on the neck (image 3) due to all the dust on the pillow. In addition, we found a cluster of dust and hair behind the toilet bowl (image 4) as well as pieces of garments in the dryer from the previous guests who stayed in the suite (image 5), very disturbing and disgusting. Is this the “extraordinary service” that Meriton claims? 3) Lack of essential amenities We’re talking about the most basic things here. Even the non-5stars hotels we’ve stayed in would always provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, shower caps and bedroom slippers. But none of these were provided in our suite. Since the suite provided a washing machine and dryer for guests to do their own laundry, I would have appreciated it if detergent or washing powder were provided, in consideration for the guests who were only staying for a week or less. The smallest volume of detergent we could purchase at Woolsworth was 1L and needless to say we used less than half of it during our short stay and could not bring it back given its bulky size and weight. If I knew about this earlier and I could have packed some myself, but no, we only found out when we entered the room. Given all that dust, and perhaps more on the floors of the room hidden behind the disguise of the grey carpet, it would have been nice if the hotel could provide a vacuum cleaner so that guests could at least clean it themselves if the hotel doesn’t want to. Despite the disappointing experience, there were still some highlights to our stay. Most of the time the staff at the reception were friendly and accommodating. The kitchen appliances and equipment were very complete and made our stay very convenient. The hotel is located close to train station (5-10min walk) and supermarket at then Mascot Central area.

Me and my wife have stayed in Meritons at Coward Street couple of times and have always enjoyed our stay. Apartments are self contained, with kitchen, Good toiletries, Clean toilets and bath. Close to few restaurants, Woolworth Hyper Market and a small shopping center. Also close to public transport with good connection to City and suburbs, in case some one does not have own transport. Any news when this hotel will reopen to public in 2022?

Have stayed here quite a few times. Always clean but sometimes issues with TV connectivity and lights not working. Staff seem to be to quick to respond though. Would stay here again.

Rooms are quite big. Everything you need. Stove, Micro, fridge, Laundry etc. Only issue is there are no places to buy anything around the hotel. But the hotel itself is immaculate.

Stayed at the Meriton Suites Coward street whilst in town for work. Great location with a lovely hotel to go with it. Room was massive with everything you could ask for. Clean and comfortable. Close to a food hub with plenty of restaurants and then obviously close to the airport. Very reasonably priced, paid $188 including parking. All in all very good, would highly recommend.

The staff were empathetic to our family emergency and so accommodating and efficient to our needs. The suites are close in distance to International Airport and Domestic Airport, and have everything guests would need for an enjoyable home away from home experience in style and comfort. First class suites at an affordable price. Don't go anywhere else for comfortable, classy, and the best accomodation experience.

Our stay at Meriton was pleasant; clean rooms, bed and pillows were comfortable, shower pressure was good. Location is a short walk from Mascot train station. Friendly service from reception and housekeeping. The 3pm check-in time was pretty late, but they let us drop off our bags first.

We were greeted by wonderful staff, Sergio, you are amazing. Our suites were absolutely beautiful, modern and super clean. Most comfortable beds ever. Minutes from the airport and 20 minute car ride into the city. This is my 2nd stay with Meriton and there will be many more in future.

Great value. Can't fault it for the price I paid. Friendly, helpful staff; clean and comfortable. For fans of fresh air, my room had sliding doors that opened onto a deck. Good choice if you want a convenient overnight stay before your flight. Just a 6 minute walk from the station, and the airport transfer fee is less than an Uber if you have a concession card.

Perfect location near the airport. No bar or restaurant in the complex but the pool looked great and the gym was good. The original room allocated to us smelt of smoke (note there is no smoking allowed in rooms) so we asked to be moved. They upgraded us from a one bedroom twin bedroom to a two bedroom apartment after checking the first room. We were very happy with the friendly helpful attitude of all the staff we met. The room was clean. The aircon worked really well and you can adjust the temperature yourself. The car parking under the building was good but costs extra. I’d definitely stay there again.
