Its a nice hotel but manager Jason is very arrogant and racist. He keeps serving his nationality but stop others regardless the person is gambling or drinking sober.

I went to a pub instead of a hotel to hang out with friends. My friend was sitting on a gaming chair and told me to leave because he wasn't playing, but the security guard assaulted him so hard that he was injured and his clothes were torn. There was a rude and ignorant security guard. The employees working here only cared for people even when they were injured. There is no apology, just employees who have not received basic training. This is the worst hotel.

Horrible room. This is the worst hotel I’ve been in my life. Dirty, smelly, broken chair… Everything makes me feel sick. Share bathroom and toilet, ok. But at least please clean it! Disgusting! A suggestion for the owner: Please just focus on your pub and gambling business. Close the hotel please! You guys ruined my travel my time and my money.

Do not recommend this place at all! Parking is NOT free as said on Agoda! You have to move after 2 hours. The spots outside the hotel are free for only an hour. The room was not the cleanest but acceptable. Tiny towels on the bed had disgusting yellow stains on them, no big towels available. Fridge was gross and dirty, no chance I’d put food in there. Don’t expect to use the bathroom if someone’s taking a shower cause the one toilet and one shower available for an entire floor are in the same room and absolutely disgusting. I asked for a new room and a refund for the second night I had booked. I got a new room which was equally dirty, big towels this time but also stained and additionally the blanket on the bed had big yellow stains on it as well. Staff walked off telling me to contact agoda for a refund. There’s much better hotels for the same price in the area, would definitely NOT recommend this one.

Every time I tried to book a room there was no vacancy. Seems popular. I wanted to stay here because my partner was working nearby. A lovely quiet hotel. I've stayed in the city a couple of times in pubs and the noise was horrific. I will stay here again.

Fridge in room was dirty. Paint is coming off the walls. No bedside lights. Window wouldn't stay open. People were having loud arguments at 4AM. One of the shared showers doesn't work, toilet wasn't clean. Staff is nice.

Nice place for quiet time and good asian food .big portions and cheap price.

First of all, the place gave an awful smell and smelt horrendous. Pictures of accommodation online did not match to how the rooms really were. Bed sheets were NOT clean as we found old dried noodles scattered throughout one of the beds. The shared facilities were absolutely filthy. They looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since the place opened 🤣 Bathrooms also were disgusting and there was urine all over the floor during our stay. One shower didn’t even go so it was one floor sharing one shower!! No water in room and was DEFINITELY not filling it up from the bathrooms! This has been the worst accommodation i have ever stayed in.

The food and the price was good, but the rooms that we stayed in could have been dusted and the toilet need to be cleaned. there was dust on fake plants,fans, chairs and windows even out on the hall way you could see dust. Would recommend the food definitely tho.

A fine example of multiculturalism. A long established pub in every sense with a Chinese Bistro with great menu. Every day chinese food available all day. The proof of good feed is in the number of diners morning, noon and evening. Always busy.

Staff were great to deal with, $6 schooners from 9am. Check in and out process was very simple. Showers and bathroom were a bit dusty and like any shared are you should wear flip flops but other than that the rooms were clean and quiet. Will stay again

I would strongly recommend that no-one stays at this hotel. When I arrived at 2pm, I was told the room was not ready and so I had to wait until 3.30pm to check in to my room. The room was dirty when I went into the room. The fridge was dirty as well. You do not have your own shower in the room and the shared bathroom was disgusting and unclean to shower in. The window in the room would not stay open. The room smelt of a foul odour. There were fights and arguments from people staying in other rooms until the early hours of the morning. The staff ARE INCREDIBLY RUDE and not helpful or supportive. If you ask questions or ask for help, expect them to NOT help you. They are simply not interested or have any customer service skills to assist you. One plus is the hotel is accessible to the train station (5 minute walk) and to a supermarket (3 minutes). The area is quite rough and wouldn’t recommend walking around at night. I would NEVER recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in even though it is cheap. STAY CLEAR of this place! The staff are rude and unhelpful and the rooms and bathrooms are dirty and unhygienic.

Terrific bistro with great authentic Asian food. My favourites are crispy skin chicken with egg noodles and Tom yum with noodles.

There was a fly in a glass of beer, as soon as i buy it from the bar I took it to the counter an complained about it, and this is what they had to say "This is not our fault" I walked out of the pub straight away and never gonna go back again

This review is for the bistro only. I've stopped by here for many years and the price hasn't really changed if at all. Food is cheap and the portions are alright, a bit small if you're a big eater, but for someone like myself it sufficed. I've only ever ordered the Vietnamese/Cantonese style foods and they have been consistently great, but the bistro also serves steaks, with chips I assume, and other similarly styled foods. Service is usually rapid and on the friendly side. Unfortunately, most of the time the tea served is lukewarm.

Lovely staff, friendly family, lovely food, there is a little gaming area near the bistro where kids can play $1 games. Food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. I ordered pepper beef and it's lovely

Bistro at Campsie Hotel. This is by far the worst Asian food I have ever eaten. I got the chicken vegetables stir fry. The chicken had no taste from all baking soda to soften the chicken. I didn't ask for rice and yet at first attempt there was rice on the dish. The vegetables they used were 4 slices of carrot and choi sum and a few onion slices. This meal cost $16 and is by far the cheapest rubbish I have eaten. I could even get half way through the meal. I was so disappointed that I took it back and they refused to do anything. Do your self a favour just go across the road to Woolies and grab a bird in the bag and some steam fresh vegetables. It will still cost less than $16, and you get to have another feed the next day. Bistro at Campsie Hotel NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!

Walked past this place looking for somewhere to eat and decided to head inside. Let me tell you how surprised we were at the food here, that taste of the meat is incredible. And the rice is stunning!!!! Such a great little gem hidden away! Definitely recommended!!!!

We visit the bistro few days ago and we were surprised of the cleanliness of the place, very good prices, good customer service. You can even play billiard and get good beer with good prices too!!!

Great service friendly staff and great food cooked the way you like it good for the kids and really laid back it has everything I appreciate.

Stayed O/nite , rooms where modern comfortable , had a share bathroom. The pub was clean ,has food served , sports bar VIP room all well serviced

Quick friendly service. Top meals with big serves and delicious food and quite cheap for the top meals they provide.

Has become my go to when working in the area. Great pub accommodation with big rooms and nice and quiet. Shared bathroom is what you would expect for a pub, not prepared for that get a place with your own. Food is great with some awesome ribs on the menu, Friendly staff and an all round great place.

Food was great, and well priced, and a great variety of tasty dishes. Rooms were large, beds were clean, the whole place was dusty and the floors and carpets needed a thorough, deep clean. Bathrooms need a more frequent refresher.

The rooms are poorly represented. Shared bathrooms aren’t clean, mini fridge was dirty, and to cover the old vent holes they have literally just stuck paper over them.

It's more like casino rather than hotel but atleast good service
