Hi 👋 I have always gone to Specsavers Bankstown for my optometrist needs and have always found them to be friendly, professional and helpful. However on this visit I found them to be exceptionally understanding when I returned with my purchased bifocals to explain the reading lens was set to low and I was about to go overseas. They offered to make the correction upon my return. I could not be happier with this consideration. Thank you so much Specsavers Bankstown 👏

Everyone in the store was so kind and eager to help. The optometrist was very educated and informative. The manager, Sarah, was just absolutely phenomenal and it was a great experience all around. She was very patient with my indecisive sister and I, provided a lot of knowledge about the differences in frames, and just made the process really easy for us. Highly recommend!!

Had the pleasure of dealing with the delightful Massimo on two separate occasions - without a shadow of a doubt, the most competent employee on the floor.

Open by saying the staff were lovely but the Optometrist was terrible. He was arrogant and bad at his job. Diagnosed my child with -2.75 in the left eye and -1.75 in the right eye. We got a prescription and were arrogantly told I don’t have time to give you a referral if you want to see a specialist. We did get a 2nd opinion and a third opinion and turns out our child doesn’t need glasses. We were really concerned when we were told he recently diagnosed 6 kids with glasses. Will be reporting to the Optometrist Guild.

Super friendly and professional staff and Dr Homma explained everything in detail. Very happy with my new glasses and got them very quick. Awesome experience.

I have always gone to the Bankstown Store, not every year has been a good experience for me but it is close to where I work so decided to give it another go . I saw a new optometrist (Jana) and was very happy, she was very professional and understanding to my concerns and made the whole experience easier. The only downside for me is that they don't have a great range of frames in my size otherwise 5 stars

I've been served by Ms. Rahma. She is patience and has good knowledge on different type of frames. She is also not the type that will push you if you're not comfortable to proceed.

Excellent service from Rahma at Bankstown today. She was helpful with selecting the frames and explaining the differences of metal and plastic frames. You don't see many people give you service with a smile like Rahma!

A little busy at times but still a professional service. They have an inhouse eye doctor, so you get a full eye examination and recommendation. Good selection of frames including designer brands. Special mention to Aya who was very patient with me and made sure I got the exact "look" I wanted with my frames and lenses.

Went to Bankstown spec savers to purchase new glasses and received the best service from a staff member called Ella. She explained clearly my options with different lenses and benefits. I think she deserves a bonus for her awesome assistance.

I treat spec savers as my annual treat. Love updating my glasses with them. The testing is always done quickly and they have a good range of frames at very decent and affordable prices. I spoke with an amazingly helpful young lady named Yusrah. She went out of her way to calculate pricing for me based on the choices I made and let me know how I could save more money. We spoke about how difficult I find it finding frames to fit my small face, and she helped me choose more suitable frames. Yusrah , you are a serious asset to the Spec Savers store at Bankstown. Thank you for your help!

I visited Specsavers with my mum and we were served by Rahma. She was so kind, patient and helpful. She helped my mum feel really comfortable with the process. Rahma was extremely professional and respectful throughout the initial testing. It is so hard to come across such lovely optical assistants, that would take their time to insure that you are happy with the service provided. Rahma is an asset to Specsavers! My mother’s eye test was conducted by the Optometrist, Homa. She has become into my mum’s favourite optometrist! We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you, Specsavers!

All the staff are friendly and so helpful. Kealie was great! Nothing was a problem for her, she explained the whole process and helped me choose some great frames.

I have always bought Space Saver eye glasses and prescription sun glasses. My most recent eye glasses plastic glass is not of the best quality, it is misting and getting dirty and I have to clean it 2 or 3 times in the day with the Lens Bright cleaner. Doesn't really work. Went to Bass Hill and they applied a grin gel cleaner which worked. Not impressed.

Very upset with the service I received today. I had an appointment at 4:40pm. I called the store at 4:30pm to let them know I was running a bit behind and to make sure it was ok if I got there 15 minutes late. The lady on the other end advised me that was fine & even laughed as if it was silly of me to call over being only 15 minutes behind. I ended up arriving at 4:55pm exactly. The receptionist took all my details and asked me to take a seat. Almost instantly after taking a seat she came up to me to tell me it was too late and I have to reschedule because they don’t have time to do my eye test. I questioned why she said it was ok earlier and she just laughed and said again that I need to reschedule. Very unprofessional if I’m being honest. I understand I was late and it is partially my fault but I’m upset that I was told it was fine & then wasted my time leaving work early and rushing to this appointment just to be refused the service. I will definitely not be returning & I hope other customers are treated much better in the future.
