    Terrible customer service. A supposedly "1 to 1 1/2"hour wait" morphs into more than a 3 hour wait with a "fluid" queue. One gets gaslighted when pointing this out, even when counting down the queue on the queue rank they give you! After waiting for so long, one feels compelled to keep waiting, otherwise it's a complete sunk cost. Farcical scenes. Service and doctor availability far gone from this medical centre's heyday (if there ever was one). Awful experience. Sadists though might enjoy their time here.

    Bloodwork is terrible I don’t recommend coming here for the pathology. Louis pricked me twice in the same spot then aggressively wriggled the needle in and out to try and get blood flow. See images of the damage attached. I get blood work done regularly and no other nurse has ever had trouble finding my blood & are always very gentle. I never leave with bruises. Reception is impossible to contact & their online bookings are a mess & don’t match up with their actual availabilities. The downstairs toilets smell horrendous, don’t use them if you need to do your own samples.

    There's no a friendly receptionist staff at all that can answer the phone. Today is 23/10/23 and I have an appointment with Dr Rao and I would like to change the app from visit in person to telehealth appointment. I start calling from 9:30am and I wait for 1 hr. I cut and wait again for 20 minutes then I decided to press number 2-Dentist and advise the receptionist there that no one is answering the phone in extension 1-GP. Only when I did that someone answer the phone after 10 minutes, so the total of my call waiting was 2 hours. It's shame that the good Doctors, Nurses and other hard working people there have to suffer the consequences because the bad receptionist system that they have. One humble suggestion can be, if there's only one person in the reception, please take one at the time, one in person standing -up and then one on the phone after and go on. I believe that the person that is stand up have to wait same as the person on the phone wait, with some exceptions of course for those people with disabilities, heart issues and mum's with babies. After 1 hr, I receive a call from then to change the app and blame me that I called Leichhardt, I told her no, then continue blaming my self.I was defending me and at the end she said, you know why we can answer the phone, because we are with people like you taking our time. The rudest person that I ever encounter in my life, ever.

    Was told today to come back in 2hrs and I’ll be able to see the doctor. Filled in a form and waited 2hrs but when I returned, the receptionist said there was no way I could see the doctor today. Well done guys.

    Dr. Debbie did a great job with my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. Expect the lady with the short hair with the glasses was so rude when she approached me at the desk.

    I have visited this Medical Centre for 2+ years and more recently seen Dr Debbie Thayagarajan for the past month. She has been the most empathetic and understanding doctor that I have seen in my life! She puts in the effort to help all aspects of my health including things that I did not initially see her for. She is patient, present, and absolutely shows that she cares about her patients like family. My experience with Dr Debbie is overwhelmingly better than my experience with all other GPs in the centre. For Dr Debbie 5/5 stars. The 2/5 stars is for the Medical Centre in general. Internal Communication between the reception and the doctors is terrible. Available appointment times are inconsistent with the actual GP's available times and the receptionists are rarely ever confident with what they are doing and the information they provide. They would sometimes give the wrong room number for the GP you request which is problematic considering the centre is 2 floors and you can miss your name being called increasing wait times for others or even risk waiting even longer than you need to. Bookings are MANDATORY unless you have 2+ hours. you may get lucky and come during slow hours where you can expect to wait 30 mins. Please treat your doctors better.

    Do NOT go here for blood work! The male pathologist who took my blood was an absolute brute! I’ve had numerous blood tests and donated blood and never had an experience like this. He jabbed the needle into my arm roughly and moved it around and blamed the vial when no blood came out (as opposed to because he totally missed the vein!) after flinching in pain on one of his (many) repeated attempts… he then did the same on the other arm! Thankfully finally managing to get my blood. I left with both arms bruised and was sore for the rest of the night! He also complained incessantly about my pathology request being on email and made it into a huge issue complaining that he then had to print it.
