    We bought a Westinghouse double oven and the installers that Harvey Norman got to install took two weeks to come and install. Sadly their idea of installation was to take the old oven out hook up the new one to the electricity but not secure it in anyway as the gap required a piece of wood to fill the gap. They took $340 and them said they would need to charge for another call out and timbers to secure the oven. This service is shocking! The installers were paid to do a job and didn't complete it. They are just money grabbers. I will never purchase anything from Harvey Norman again. Buyers BEWARE!!

    Worst experience with the store manager Jignesh today -Sunday 11 Sep 2022, at the Harvey Norman Castle Hill Store, Sydney. My family and I visited the Harvey Norman Auburn store last week and had enquired about the Parsons Outdoor Extendable Dining table. Best price quoted by the Auburn store was $1199 + delivery. Since Auburn is an hour drive away, I visited the Harvey Norman Castle Hill store (which is closer to home) to enquire if I could be price matched. Kerrie was the sale lady who assisted us and advised the Harvey Norman Castle Hill price for the same Table is $1350 + delivery. She said that she will check with the Store Manager for the best price and if any further discounts can be made. As soon as Jignesh the store manager, heard the Auburn Store price, without even giving a thought, he just said - in a rude and indifferent manner- "Go to Auburn and get the table, $1350 is the best price in my store" He didnt care about the customer, and just wanted to shoo me away! IT's fine if the Castle Hill Store cannot price match, but there is a way you talk to a person- with respect and dignity! No one deserves to be spoken rudely. Jignesh was rude and arrogant I am surprised that he is the store manager at Castle Hill Store. Managers are supposed to set an example in their customer service skills, but this person has no skills at all! Kerrie was apologetic and apologised for the behaviour of Jignesh and Jignesh who walked a few steps away, kept looking at us trying to see what Kerrie was still talking to us about. From a very far distance, Jignesh shouted and asked "Kerrie what's the matter". But this time I was very irritated of the fact that the person who needs to apologise (Jignesh) does not even have the guts to come near me and ask if there is an issue, and asking Kerrie what the issue is? At this I said, "You are the problem" to which Jignesh rudely pointed to the door and said "EXit" and then loudly shouting "Bye bye". This is totally unacceptable and rude behaviour. I am a gentleman and did not create a scene, it is fine if you cannot price match, but atleast be respectful and not shout and ask people to get out of the store! Very unprofessional and rude behaviour and Jignesh needs to be called out for this rude and totally unacceptable behaviour!

    Don't waste your time visiting this shop.The attitude and arrogance of the manager is not worth the visit.He seriously lacks customer service and displays an overbearing and arrogant demeanour when negotiating.Just pop over to JB HIFI for a more courteous ,friendly and competitive negotiated price, which I did today and was treated respectfully and courteously and happily walked out with my purchase.Avoid this Harvey Norman outlet if you want to enjoy your visit and purchase.The manager ,boasts about stock at hand as 'King Stock' ....whatever he means.I understand if you're over stocked then it seems a sales issue.

    Came into the store in the arvo today for a click and collect order after I followed the instructions as per the email to notify that I’m here and my location before coming in. I asked the girl at the front counter where to go and she pointed me to the click and collect desk at the back of the store. I went there but no one turned up for about 5 mins. So then I went to the click and collect door and knocked on it but no one answered. At that point, a sales lady approached me (didn’t get her name but she was a Caucasian lady maybe in her 30s) from the floor telling me that I should’ve gone to a staff member first. When I told I had, she gives me attitude after she asks for my name even though I had already clicked the email to say that I had already arrived at the store (and I had to show her my ID anyway). No point having a click and collect process if your staff are incompetent (and could probably do with customer service training too - no one wants to come in to the store and get attitude).

    I had the displeasure of talking to one of the staff members at Harvey Norman castle hill. We bought a bbq from one of the other stores. We went to exchange it for another bbq. One of the staff members approached us. He was very firm once we explained we wanted to exchange the bbq, he said that it is not possible as we purchased it at another store. I completely understand that there might be some rules and restrictions around what can be exchanged where. From consumer perspective it’s all called Harvey Norman. We don’t care about the details. We wanted to get a much bigger and more expensive bbq which means he missed the sale. Regardless there is no need to be rude and walk off after you delivered your message. I would not want to deal with rude people...

    I made a PS5 order on HN online at 7 Apr 2022,pick up store is HN Castle Hill. The Stock Expected Late April 2022 showed on HN website. From 7 April to 30 April I didn’t receive any notification from HN Castle Hill store. And then I called up to ask the status of the order, one of staffs told me my order has been cancelled in the system by mistake ,the order didn’t allocate, they need made back order. And they told me the order will get in stock at mid of May. So I waited. Mid of may I called HN Castle Hill ask the status of the order, they told me they don’t know when it has stock,also told me this is PS5 very hard to get it. Today I went to store to request cancel this order, “the store manager “( because every staff that I spoke with call themselves is store manager) told me the order already been cancelled. I said “I didn’t request any cancellation of this from this order made,and also didn’t receive the refund if the order already been cancelled. But I would like to cancel this order today.” The store manager told me they can’t make any refund today they need investigate this case. So should I say HN took money of the order from customer, and they don’t give any notification of the order and also they don’t refund the money. That’s the best customer service I ever met. Great job HN

    Only giving one star because zero wasn’t an option! Andrew is the rudest person I have ever encountered! Harvey Norman do yourself a favour and fire this guy.. useless, rude and wasted my time and offered zero help If you see a name tag with the name “Andrew”.. think twice because he’ll happily take your money but won’t follow any returns policy procedures offered by Harvey Norman Not sure if he was having a bad day or if he’s naturally trash at his job..but it’s not an excuse to speak rudely to anyone Harvey norman should consider customer service training lessons to this guy

    By far the worst harvey norman I have dealt with. The service is appalling. It took them 6 months to deliver my dining table.With me constantly following them up. No one followed up with me in relation to the status.Then found out I needed spare parts, they sent the wrong parts. We went back and forth and still not a resolution. So I had to spend more money and get the parts myself to save me the hassle. The service managers were a nightmare to deal with. These guys do not care about their customer experience. Complete waste of my time and effort!

    Everything out of Denise’s mouth was abrupt, rude, and false. If you don’t know whether you sell something then make sure the customer isn’t standing right next to it, and don’t then double down on your lies. Additionally— don’t go ripping your colleagues away from customers who are equally deserving of the staff’s time and attention to try and cover your own tracks. Could learn a thing or two from the furniture staff who are extraordinarily polite, attentive, and recognise the value of their customer’s purchases.

    The manager of the electronics department, Andrew has no customer service skills and I wonder how he even got this position. The other staff members working there were far more helpful in comparison. He refused to assist us in the process of returning a gift purchased from that same store. He rudely told us that we could take it or leave it and we would just be provided with store credit that could ONLY be used in their pathetic excuse for an electronics department (they have hardly any stock). Another staff member was kind enough to actually direct us to the Auburn store. Unsurprisingly, the staff at Auburn helped us to return our gift in about 10 minutes. Truly disappointing and there are so many other staff members who are more deserving of this position.

    Bought a Samsung tv brand new with blemishes all over it. Harvey Norman said it “ operates within specs” even though it’s the worst tv we’ve ever had. Would not have bought had we had known. Will be launching NCAT case to try and get a refund.

    Dropped in to the HVN Castle Hill store due to their huge range of floor stock - compared to HVN Hornsby. We were in the market for a fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. Salesman in the white goods section, Seelan, answered our questions and came back with prices that could not be matched by any other store - bricks & mortar or online! Purchased our appliances and received a bonus $200 gift card. No problem delaying delivery to sync with our renovations. I had to reschedule once, with a weeks notice, which was no issue. Warehouse sent a text the evening before with a delivery window. Delivery was smack bang in the middle of the promised delivery window, and done quickly and professionally. Appliances carried up an internal staircase with: no drama; or damage to property or appliances. All up, a great shopping experience.

    I ordered a washing machine on 14/10/2021, and was advised that it would be delivered on 16/10/2021. I waited for the whole day at home,but the delivery failed. No message or call from Harvey Norman to advise why they were unable to deliver and when it could be delivered. I have been dealing with Harvey Norman for years.its service has gone from bad to worse. If it is not because of the good staff that served me, I will rate it at most one star. Will think twice to deal with them in future. On 18/10/2021, I contacted the gentleman whom I dealt with. He said he would use another courier to deliver it to me. He later confirmed that delivery date would be 19/10/2021afternoon. During this period, he had been keeping me informed until it was delivered at about 1330 hours. I like to thank for his prompt action and also the management of Harvey Norman to take my review seriously. I always like to deal with reputed company as it can't afford to ignore consumer's complaint.

    Do not buy anything from this store. Our Samsung projector failed even after it was allegedly repaired. We had no choice but to file a complaint with the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) and were successful. However, when we returned the item for a full refund as instructed, they refused to comply with the order. We have now filed a case with the Local Court to have the order enforced and for the sheriff to attend their premises. We are warning others about this store because we do not want anyone else to experience the same problems that we have. We believe that this store is not trustworthy and that they are not willing to stand behind their products or their customer service. If you have had a similar experience with this store, we encourage you to file a complaint with NCAT or the Local Court. We also encourage you to share your story on social media so that others can be warned

    I went to this store to buy a sofa set a week ago and couldn’t choose the right one for my needs and a lovely lady named Kim has helped me to choose the right set. She is very professional and knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to meet her customers expectations and needs, she knows how and when to approach to customers. She is a great asset to Harvey Norman and I can’t speak highly enough of her wonderful service. Special thanks to Kim for being so nice and helpful 😊

    Absolutely shocking service! Was suppose to have our Bathroom goods ready within 2 weeks, it's now been 8 weeks. 4 times they said that they have it by the end of the week. How am I suppose to organise a plumber with this service!

    Parking is very good here and the best parking is on the roof. There are elevators and travel mats down to Harvey Norman. I mainly visit the computer and electronics section which means a long walk through the furniture part of the store. Prices here are generally higher than they should be and the store is made up of a whole heap of different sub-franchises under the single banner making returns a messy and uncomfortable process. When they do have specials, prices generally return to normal except for the stuff in boxes near the front. That stuff is usually cheaper.

    I had a wonderful experience at Harvey Norman Castle Hill, all thanks to Mr. Cisco, the store manager. My partner and I recently purchased a dining table set from the store, only to realize later that it wouldn't fit in our dining area. We visited the store the very next day, hoping to find a solution or an alternative option. Mr. Cisco went above and beyond to understand our concerns and find a suitable resolution. Despite our initial disappointment, he empathised with our situation and genuinely listened to our needs. He patiently showed us various options and tried to find a suitable replacement for us. Although we couldn't find a suitable alternative within the store's inventory, Mr. Cisco offered us a store credit for the full invoice value, allowing us to choose something else that would better suit our requirements. His exceptional customer service, professionalism, and problem-solving skills were truly commendable. Mr. Cisco made sure we felt valued as customers, and his willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression on us. I highly recommend Harvey Norman Castle Hill, especially because of Mr. Cisco's outstanding assistance. If you're looking for a store that not only offers great products but also priorities customer satisfaction, this is the place to go.     Called them and discussed what I wanted and he said soundbar 700 display model available and everything is there. Then I went there and checked so there was no remote, hdmi cable, headphones and battery.I asked MARK( with tattoos on his both hands) to start in store so he couldn’t able to start.but he want me to take that home and tested in my home without remote and pay deposit for it..how rude he was with me and looks like he is working without any interest..

    Brought a PC the other day at Harvey, but I was very pressed for time, thank goodness the Cashier Jessica was really efficient, super friendly and super helpful, they sorted me out for my payment plan super quick and I was able to make lunch with my girlfriend in time! Absolute legend!!

    Our Click and Collect purchase process was very efficiently handled. Andrew from the Castle Hill store insisted on carrying my purchase to my vehicle as he felt it was far too heavy for me to handle. It certainly made the collection of our purchase an easy and pleasant experience. Thank you.

    Highly recommend bathroom area consultant Rita, she will take care of you. I was actually not her customer, she tried her best to help me find the matched item I needed. I was asking for picking up the item from another store, she helped me contact that store, the next day she gave me a call to follow up, then I told her I could not pick up, she arranged deliver for me. It was an wonderful experience.

    I recently purchased a Dyson cyclone vacuum from Harvey Norman , the salesperson was very professional at her job and product was high standard. The young lady (helay) cashiering was absolutely excellent with her customer service , very polite and friendly.     I visited the store today to buy 5 different appliances. Mr Shaheen was a super star salesman and dealt with me and my challenging toddler so well. He was patient, educated about the products and so gentle in his approach! Highly recommend dealing with him when you visit!

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE POOR QUALITY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE They delivered sofas with problems in the leather. They were initially resisting and pushing back and finally told us to keep it and they will replace it as soon as possible. More than 9 months gone, almost 25 emails were exchanged, phone calls, and every time I followed up they made lots of excuses. Simply, they take the money out from people's pockets for faulty furniture and give them a very hard time. You call them and no one has any idea even where they are in the process. IT WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I BOUGHT FURNITURE FROM HARVEY NORMAN. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND BUY YOUR FURNITURE SOMEWHERE ELSE. AT LEAST YOU GET A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    I don’t know how to start! Overall great home hub for everything you need if you can find it in stock..! For over a decade been a customer in this place for several houses, There has been good and bad experiences. But will still choose to go there over other places. Covid affected stocks severely for the last year to date.

    I just want to express how grateful we are for the tremendous customer service we received from Subash today. He is the hero for my 11 year old son who's birthday was actually 2 months ago and he has been wanting a Playstation 5. We rang Harvey Norman Castle Hill today and Subash was very professional, courteous and friendly. We will definitely recommend the great experience we received today from dealing with an outstanding staff member. 10/10 Subash!

    The last tome I visited Harvey Norman Castle hills, it has hot deals going on. It has really beautiful furniture. Some of them were on floor clearance. The gentleman who was helping us was really good. We told him our requirements and he was giving suggestions accordingly. Reaching there was bit confusing by car because I had used Harvey Norman as destination. Make sure you put shopping mall as destination.
