I did the Super Sydney Women tour and loved every second. I especially appreciated how Simon had pictures of many of the women he was talking about. It helped me to create a picture in my head. All the info was well researched and so interesting! Who knew that a governor's wife was a first fleet convict!? Totally unlike any other tour I've ever been on, highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the pib crawl the other night with John. Suggest people do it early in their stays not the last night so you can go back and enjoy some of the spots you discover. Lots of fun.

Best and most affordable 2hr walking tour on our 12 night cruise!! Our guide "Simon" was great. His knowledge of The Rocks and his family history stories were informative and heartwarming. Very entertaining and always attentive to the needs of all on the tour. Some of the stairs were more than expected but he slowed the pace as needed for some of us more challenged seniors. He made our day and I hope he gets to see this review!

Simon greeted us with a smile and at the end of the tour we were all smiling. He explained the history of Sydney and specifically The Rocks introducing personal anecdotes and humor to help us learn. Our time went too fast. We enjoyed his company and the tour.

I'm born and bred Sydney, with family history in The Rocks, and was still absolutely surprised and delighted with the stories, insight and history I learned about the area. My eyes were opened to tiny details of Sydney that I'd never noticed, even though I had visited the very same streets hundreds of times before. Highly recommended if you're a Sydney local who thinks they've seen it all, and for visitors who want to learn the real history of Sydney.

Really fun tour highlighting the very checkered past of Kings cross. Highly recommend this tour.

An entertaining and informative tour around King's Cross, one of the seedier and more notorious parts of Sydney. Who would have thought the place had such a chequered past?

My husband and I did the tiny bars tour with John and Joel. Joel was incredibly enthusiastic. It's lovely to see people who love their jobs so much!

Kuey (queue'y) was the most courteous, professional and fun tour guide I've ever met! And I don't normally like people in general! Yes it probably helped that we had a lot in common but his whole tour was slick, professional, relaxed and fun! We booked in Sydney for a tour around Cairns. First you do a walk on the zoom dome. Which is a nice 360 view of Cairns high up and he will point out some hot spots for you to visit and tips. Then to a tour of the zoo with facts along the way. He has a great rapport with the birds in the zoo so you can get close to them without flying away. Off to a dinner to try crocodile, kangaroo and snapper fish, then to the night market for a nice long back massage then to a bar for drinks and talks to finish the night. Left him a decent tip as the felt like we was robbing him for the value for money!

So lets explain I am in my 60's and being male I was wondering how I would find the tour? Firstly its an easy stroll and mainly flat. We started with a coffee at circular Quay and over the next two hours I found myself being entertained and educated. Having walked the streets of Sydney for 40 years its amazing how little we really see so having a cheerful guide explain everything about the women that made Sydney, the buildings, offices, architecture and even the lack of female loos in the 1900s I realised this was an ideal way to learn something new whether your at school or retired Highly recommended and really cost effective for groups and families as kids and oldies can come free with each paying adult.

Skirting Sydney was an entertaining tour with the right amount of history, humour, fun facts and sightseeing. Not to mention a phenomenal queue jump at Opera Bar and a great table to end the tour. I highly recommend this experience.

We’ve just come back from “skirting Sydney” with Simon. What a superb and fun day we had finding out more about the beautiful city, Sydney. Simon was a fabulous tour guide that was entertaining and informative throughout the tour. He took us to places most folk never see and we bumped into locals that he introduced us to. This was a comfortable and easy stroll around Sydney with pauses at points of interest where Simon, the natural storyteller, spoke of the amazing woman that formed this fabulous city. This would be a fabulous thing to do if you are a tourist or a local wanting to do something different in Sydney. I so want to do another tour with you soon Simon. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend taking a tour with 24 Hours in Sydney. We were on the Sydney Smells & Sights – A Smorgasbord for the Senses tour for 3 hours. Simon and John explained the history and contemporary issues of Newtown and Sydney while we walked the neighborhoods. We also had the opportunity to meet small shop owners. Simon and John also engaged in fun conversation and were interested in knowing about us. Simon took several pictures of us at points of interest and shared them as a courtesy. It's obvious that they love what they do and have a lot of pride in their country and community. I wish I had more time to take another tour with them. I will certainly do so when I return to Sydney.

John was a very informative and welcoming guide. He showed the hidden bars of Sydney which were great to find and he seemed to know a great deal about them. I hope to rediscover them again. It was great that he talked about Australia's history and culture a little bit and pointed out buildings of interest. It was nice that food and drinks were provided and thought of. I would recommend this tour if you want to explore the little known small bars of Sydney's CBD and have a great time.

There were three of us who had a wonderful tour with Raphael. He is a very informative guide, has a sound grasp of the early history of Sydney and conducts the tour in a very relaxed way. His coverage of the Rocks area was arguably superior to one of the groups that focuses only on Rocks tours. The only improvement I would suggest is the use of an IPad or a tablet to display historical photographs, which are most interesting but would be improved if viewed on a larger screen. I thank Raphael and Sydney Urban Adventures for a most interesting two hours plus.

After today's tour at the rocks with Raphael, we feel well informed of the many years of history that started in the colonization up until today. Nothing was rushed during the tour, with time to take pictures and ask questions. At the end of the tour, he found the time to show us, where to find a guided tours at the opera house, and share a cop of coffee. I can definitely recommend the tour and Sydney Urban Adventures! Can't wait for Sydney Harbour sailing Lunch cruise tomorrow.

Had a great local tour with Gabriel - "Forbidden Sydney", on a Friday evening. He made sure the walking tour was comfortable and casual, walked us through some unique parts of Syndey and Oxford St., and used a collection of digital photographs to tell anecdotes and stories about the local LGBT+ scene. Was very worth taking the evening walk with him and our small group, and learning about the similarities (and differences) of life for LGBT+ people in the Sydney area. Would highly recommend both him a a guide and this tour!

We did the LGBT history tour with John. Despite not being part of the queer community himself, he did his best to tell the vibrant history of the buildings and people of sydney. Very passionate about being a tour guide, and basically an expert on where tourists would like to have their photo taken, our particular group felt that while the research he had done was admirable, this tour could be improved by input from the local queer community. Otherwise an informative walk through an historic neighborhood, plus the weather was super lovely for it.

This is the perfect tour for a tourist, or night out for a local. We visited undiscovered small bars that would be impossible to find on our own. Really special, really cool spots. Walking through dark alleys, hidden staircases, through a secret door that appeared to be for storage into a swanky bar with an awesome vibe. John was a great tour guide! Very personable with a great balance of some historical details and fun. He had great food and drink recommendations and personalized the tour for our group! This was one of the best tourist I’ve been on as a tourist. I went with locals and they enjoyed it as much as I did. It was definitely not the snooze fest 😴 I sometimes find tours to be towards the end of a vacation when I just can’t listen to more statistic. This was a fun, and interactive urban adventure- just like the name. Finding each bar felt like an adventure and left me wanting to go back to all of them! Well done! Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time on the Sydney With Conviction walking tour with Simon. He was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller - the way he weaved history and personal stories together made the tour so interesting and memorable. The walking tour was also a good way to get to know the Rocks and Harbour areas of the city - it helped us get our bearings. This tour is definitely worth doing!

Awesome experience! Borana did a great job and was very friendly and dedicated. Had no idea there were so many hidden and really cool bars in Sydney. We litterally walked pass the entrances to several of them the day before without knowing. You should almost stroll around down town before the tour just for that reason. Make sure you don't get stuck at places too long tho cuz there are many to visit.

I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best tour ever in Sydney last night. Eat,Drink and Walk is a different way of seeing Sydney, it shows you the best hidden spots that otherwise won't be seen by a tourist. Amazing and stylish bars become a way to explore and dive into the real night life of Sydney ad well as the typical Aussie International culture. Each place brings you into a different dimension and gives unforgettable sensations. I absolutely recommend this tour as well as any tour proposed in Sydney because every single one is showing a different shade of this amazing city. Absolutely in love with this tour! A huge thank you to one of the best tour guide ever, John :) You gotta love Syndey!
