EDIT
-
I
spoke
with
Quintin
the
manager
after
leaving
my
initial
review
and
he
was
very
open
to
receiving
feedback
on
how
the
gym
could
be
be
more
accommodating
to
new
parents
who
rely
on
the
creche
so
they
can
work
out
and
also
make
popular
classes
easier
to
book.
I
appreciated
the
time
he
took
to
listen
to
my
concerns
and
it
shows
that
the
business
has
their
heart
in
the
right
place
and
are
keen
to
be
accessible
to
all
members
of
the
community.
*****
I
haven't
been
a
member
all
that
long,
but
my
feeling
is
that
this
gym
has
too
many
members
and
has
reached
capacity
(at
least,
when
it
comes
to
classes
at
the
Wellness
Center
-
although
the
cycling
classes
are
also
crammed
wall
to
wall
and
you
can
barely
walk
by
the
bikes
without
bumping
into
something).
As
others
have
pointed
out,
it's
extremely
difficult
to
book
a
class
and
spaces
fill
up
within
15-30
minutes.
When
I
signed
up,
I
envisaged
myself
taking
2-3
classes
a
week
but
I
can
only
book
myself
into
1
and
that's
IF
I'm
lucky.
It's
not
great
value,
when
you
crunch
those
numbers.
I
took
the
FP
version
of
Body
Pump
and
also
found
it
to
be
a
pretty
poor
imitation.
For
one
thing,
there
was
no
space
in
the
class
so
several
people
had
no
access
to
mats
and
equipment.
Also,
the
music
was
so
loud
you
couldn't
hear
the
instructors
voice
and
the
lighting
was
so
dark
you
couldn't
see
what
you
were
doing.
The
instructor
also
wasn't
demonstrating
the
moves,
so
you
couldn't
hear
what
to
do,
or
see
what
to
do,
or
see
yourself
(or
move
without
bumping
into
your
neighbour).
Now,
doing
weights
is
all
about
technique
and
I
have
to
say
I
find
it
risky
that
you
have
lots
of
newbies
in
a
cramped
room
together
lifting
weights
without
being
able
to
see
what
they're
doing
or
correct
their
technique.
I
used
to
go
to
Fitness
First
and
their
weights
classes
are
100x
better.
I
also
think
it's
really
mean
that
they
charge
you
for
cancelling
'late'.
Surely,
a
gym
THIS
packed
with
THAT
many
people
desperate
to
get
into
classes
aren't
losing
money
if
someone
forfeits
their
booking?
I
am
a
single
parent
looking
after
a
6
month
old
baby,
and
sometimes
there's
just
no
way
to
predict
whether
my
baby
will
be
napping,
cranky,
sick
etc
so
I
have
no
choice
but
to
cancel
late.
Life
happens!
And
I
don't
have
a
person
who
can
mind
the
baby
when
I'd
like
to
go
to
the
gym
so
I
have
to
bring
him
to
the
creche.
I
understand
you
have
to
book
due
to
class
popularity,
but
also
if
classes
are
so
popular
and
get
filled
so
easily
-
why
should
people
be
charged??
This
gym
has
all
the
mod
cons
and
some
great
yoga
and
pilates
instructors.
It's
also
beautifully
refubrished.
But
it's
a
victim
of
its
own
success.
