I
have
been
a
member
at
Anytime
Fitness
for
over
a
year
now,
and
my
experience
with
their
service
has
been
nothing
short
of
a
nightmare.
Last
year,
I
approached
one
of
the
staff
members,
expressing
my
concern
about
not
actively
using
my
membership
and
inquiring
if
there
was
anything
that
could
be
done.
To
my
dismay,
the
response
was
an
immediate
and
unhelpful
"no."
I
reluctantly
accepted
it,
assuming
I
would
have
to
continue
paying
for
the
remaining
term
of
my
membership.
However,
my
frustration
reached
a
new
level
when
I
recently
called
them
to
confirm
when
my
membership
was
ending,
only
to
discover
that
it
had
already
ended
back
in
September.
Shockingly,
they
had
continued
charging
me
without
my
consent
or
even
a
courtesy
notification.
There
was
no
email
or
message
informing
me
of
the
automatic
renewal,
leaving
me
in
the
dark
about
my
ongoing
financial
commitment.
What
adds
insult
to
injury
is
the
fact
that,
as
a
student
for
the
past
two
years,
I
have
been
consistently
paying
more
than
the
student
membership
rate.
This
discrepancy
in
pricing
is
not
only
unfair
but
also
unacceptable,
especially
when
considering
the
financial
constraints
that
students
often
face.
Now
that
I've
decided
to
terminate
my
membership
due
to
this
appalling
experience,
Anytime
Fitness
is
demanding
an
additional
payment
for
the
upcoming
week.
This
lack
of
transparency
and
the
blatant
disregard
for
customer
communication
have
left
me
deeply
dissatisfied.
