Jane Rickard was recommended by a friend who breeds GSDs for my dogs serious health issues. Both her ongoing passion for the latest in veterinary techniques as well as her genuine compassion really touched us and we wished we had found out about her sooner. It has been an absolute pleasure to bring new members of our (fur) family to this practice because we know they'll always be in the best of care.

Our cats Summer and Sushi always come to this vet for their annually health check and vaccine. The staff are very friendly and Jenny gave many good advices for us to keep our cars happy and healthy. Highy recommend for pet lovers.

We've been bringing our 2 kitties into see Dr Cassie since we moved back into the area 2 years ago. Mostly for yearly vaccinations/check ups but also when one of them got an ear infection. The cats love her and she's been fantastic whenever we've brought them in to see her. Prices for vaxxes/medication are incredible reasonable.

My new puppy, Benson, loves the vet!! He is always treated so well here and the staff are just always so lovely. Will definitely be bringing my puppy here for all his vet needs!

Our doggie wasn't eating or drinking and was in a world of pain, they managed to quickly identify the issue, he stayed under observation and 24 hours later he was his old self. Can recommend this vet to anyone who cares for their animals! Thank you all who cared for Coco!

Jane has been our vet for more than 5 years. We are most grateful to Jane and her team for how responsive, kind and caring they have been in treating and helping with all my dogs, two of them are not so approachable at all. Unfortunately one has passed away a few years ago but he had been converted to see Jane as his favorite aunt after the first few visits. Jane will always return my calls, either talking through options of treatment or finding a solution to treat the problem before we can get an appointment to see her. She made sure everything was ready when we got there so that we didn't have to go back for a second time unnecessarily. I had experience with other vets who were completely the opposite. We're really glad to have Jane and her team around when we need them.

After going to 3 other vets about my pup Harlee. I can finally say with relief I’ve found a lifetime vet for her. Dr. Jane. Rickard unlike the others vets I’ve been to did not rush our appointment, she took her time and did the most extensive exam on my pup that we have ever had. She made us take her for a walk while she recorded to make sure Harlee was walking correctly etc, even did a few tests in her practice to eliminate injury as a reason for some of our current issues as oppose to it being a psychological problem. I could not be happier and highly recommend this practice to all fur parents. Thank you so much for the attentive care and attention you provided us with.

The staff were all so great and made my kittens and my self feel comfortable. As a first time cat owner, they gave me all necessary information and it was a wonderful experience and I definitely trust that they will always provide the best care.

Highly recommend Dr Jane and Dr Cassie at HDVH. Not only do they provide high quality veterinary care, they are friendly, kind and have a wonderful rapport with the animals they treat. Our dog always walks through their doors confident and relaxed. There has also never been any nasty surprises regarding billing, with reasonable prices for their services. I also like that I can book appointments online through their website.

I went to Hills District Veterinary Hospital to get my dog treated for a ear infection. Unfortunately, Dr. Jane didn't inform me of the side effects the ear treatment she prescribed that day could have on my dog's hearing which he lost after a few weeks of that treatment. Along with this, Dr. Jane also felt the need to call me to tell me that I "was nuts" to try a gentler approach for my dog skin issues. Those were her words. I never met a vet who would go that length to judge and criticize a dog owner in choosing more alternative routes before heavy drugs. However, I would like to say that not all the clinic staff has behaved in that way.

Jane and her staff are the most professional and compassionate people. They treated me with the utmost courtesy and consideration. I'll be back because I feel I can have confidence in this practice
