    Awful, stay away. Booked in Thailand. The tour was not as described. 1. There was absolutely no guide, even though there was supposed to be an English guide. 2. Instead of taking us to an Elephant Sanctuary, they took us to an Elephant Camp, where they torcher animals to make them obedient and ridable. I am very disappointed that I was decieved to support this industry. 3. The food absolutely sucked: a lunch box, no time to eat. 4. No stops for washroom during 2.5 hour bus ride. Always rushed. 5. Extremely overpriced which I found out later. I paid the double amount compared to people on the same tour. Avoid at all costs, booking last minute was my mistake. Do your research and check out local agencies in advance.

    I will never book anything again with Viator. So looking forward to doing a booked and paid for trip with them but they cancelled me within a few hours of the commencement of thr trip. Just rubbish and I am gutted.

    Great Barrier Reef and MOUA Cruise from Townsville or Magnetic Island First of all the agency did not have the information if this trip included a scuba dive for non-experience dives. They took more than one day to get back to me and gave me the wrong information. They said yes, I could go (I did only a couple of dives, never done a course). But when I got there, the operator crew said they were not informed there would be a non-experienced diver and they had to staff to accompany me. Also, the company I called was based in Sydney, the trip was in Queensland, but they charged me in American Dollars. The price doesn't let it clear, it only says "$". Definitely, I do not recommend it! It was the worst part of my trip to Townsville/Magnetic Island.

    I found the support team dishonest. I booked a tour that requires a 8 hour approval, and I asked support if I may book another one as a backup. They never gave me a straight answer and instead recommended me an instant booking one. Since there's free cancellation 24 hours before I thought I might just do that. But I asked the person just in case. They still didn't answer my question and just referred to a bunch of policies. They said they'd try calling the local tour but was unsuccessful and so I'd have to wait. Oh and they said "we can help you cancel the other reservation and book the instant one instead " But I didn't want to do that since it's my backup plan. Funny enough, minutes later suddenly I got an email saying my reservation was declined. I told the person that and they said apparently they didn't meet the minimum amount of people. It was a max 4 people tour and confirmation was supposed to be 8 hours, not a few minutes and it was still days away. There's no way it could be cancelled that soon. I think that support agent just cancelled it to make me book the instant one. Very poor experience so far.

    I got a horrible experience for using the Paris Shuttle Arrival Transfer from Orly Airport to a hotel in Paris City on 23 April 19. Our flight arrived on time at 8:30 that morning. We followed Viator's instruction to call the hotline to inform our arrival and waited for a crab on the pick up area as told. We got the reply that the driver will arrive 30 minutes later. However, the driver did not show up as said. My husband and I had called the hotline a dozen times for an update. The staff kept telling us the driver would be there at any minute. After waiting at the pick up area for an hour, we lost our patient and requested to cancel the trip. Finally, they agreed to get another crab for us. But we had been waiting at the airport for more than one and a half hour by then. The management of Viator's airport shuttle bus in Paris is really bad. So far, we did not get any apology for this terrible experience. I won't use their service any more.

    Dishonest company. I booked a transfer in Cancun from The airport to my hotel and return. I lost my money and I end up paying 30 extra USD to get back to the airport. Scammers. I made a complaint to the Mexican tourist authorities.

    Terrible experience. Booked a limo in NYC and received a "confirmed booking" email. The limo never showed up. I called the company that it was subcontracted to and they said sorry we don't have a car. What is the point of a reservation if you don't reserve a car for the passenger. Please never use this company. In dispute with company as you cannot reach Viator to reverse the pre-payment. Such a scheme.

    Viator are trash. They were happy to take our money but failed to inform us that some parts of the tour they had booked for us were not available even though they would have known this prior to the booking. Purposely misguiding information they gave to us to entice us to purchase a product through them. Disappointing response from customer service when we asked for a refund as well.

    No refunds provided for activities that I cancelled on my European tour. I cancelled these activities within the required timeframe to receive a full refund but nothing was received. Numerous requests for refunds to Viator over email were not responded to. Viator website does not have a number to call. Company is not recommended.

    I booked a transfer from Kathmandu Airport to the city. I paid Viator over five time the local rate for the journey. The car wasn’t their when i arrived, i waited nearly an hour for the driver to arrive. The guy at the airport tried to recharge me and implied a usd10 tip would be appropriate. (The journey should have cost usd4)

    We did a FULL DAY TOUR OF KAKADU NATIONAL PARK from Darwin NT in July, booked through Viator website. The tour was well organized. Included Lunch was pretty good, refreshments and drinking water was also provided. En route there were enough coffee/washroom breaks. We were picked up from our motel at the correct time. The tour was well organized and the driver-cum-guide was very knowledgeable. The only Negative point was -- that it was a small bus with very limited leg room, no reclining seats and no seat pockets for drink bottles etc. (For information: Kakadu national park Entry passes are required for this tour which is not included. It can be purchased online before the tour, or purchased on the counters at Bowali visitor centre kakadu national park, for $38 per person). I certainly recommend this tour for a great experience of Kakadu national park.

    I would not recommend Viator Vietnam at all , booked a trip from Saigon, the driver was late more than 30 minutes no show and no communication at all, after 30 minutes he text claiming that he’s on his way. When I requested a refund Viator declined the request with no logical reason!
