What a wonderful idea this is! I went on the tour with Elliot today and it was fantastic! Elliot is a very captivating storyteller and also super knowledgeable on Sydney's crime history. The whole tour flew by and I was sad when it was over. It was like experiencing a living history book, complete with standing in the actual locations. I will book the Darlinghurst one next! Definitely go on this tour, you won't regret it! P.s. Elliot, please do more tours!

Due to the fact that Elliot has so much knowledge about the area and you can tell he loves his job . We recently did the 3 hour Surry Hills tour and highly recommend it. Elliott is a wealth of knowledge on early colonial history but particularly the history of inner Sydney. He is a terrific guide and story teller and transports you back to the early days of Sydney and also during the days of the razor gangs in the 1920’s and 30’s with stories of murders, the ‘Pushes’ and pin pointing the exact spots where events occurred (with historic photos) while exploring the hidden Sydney. I’m now really looking forward to doing the Darlinghurst tour.

We did the Surry Hills 3hr tour with some friends and whilst we all live in Sydney and know the area fairly well now, the walking tour provided a great way to learn about the history and past stories. Elliot provided a really interesting, fun and engaging tour sharing with us the crime history and stories of the area. Loved seeing the historic photos along the way to compare the then with the now, helped to imagine what it would have been like. Looking forward to doing the other tours!

An interesting and enjoyable day with friends. Elliott's knowledge and enthusiasm is infections. The walk is easily doable and the tour is recommended to see and learn about parts of Sydney not normally considered by the tourist or Sydneysiders.

One of the best, most thorough tours I've done in Sydney. Eliot was so knowledgeable and approachable, the walk was well paced (I've done some that are too fast) and the crime stories plus general knowledge he has are excellent. Old photos are so fascinating to see too. I would highly recommend his tour and would love to do one of his other ones in the future.

Elliot knows his stuff. The Darlinghurst tour, like the Surry Hills tour before it, takes you down lanes you never knew existed. The stories will keep you on edge and keep you informed of a side to Australian history that has been kept mostly hidden. An easy walk. Elliot takes it easy when the going is uphill. I've been on two of his tours - highly recommended.

Murders Most Foul Surry Hills tour with guide Elliot was most captivating. I was thoroughly engaged the whole tour with the enthralling commentary Elliot provided. My favourite tale from the tour was the suspicious cold case murder of Francis Charles Kennedy, and the inconsistent witness reports and dealings from Cocaine Queen May Smith. I highly recommended this tour for anyone with an interest in true crime, Australia's past, or to simply explore the city of Sydney from a new perspective. It definitely left me wanting to know more.

Sydney delivered on the weather front today so it was perfect for the easy paced stroll. Elliott is not only incredibly knowledgeable on his subject but a truly gifted story teller as well. He has this uncanny ability to draw you into the scene so well you feel as though you are travelling through time to stand at each crime scene. This was an unforgettable experience - and as a bonus you see some beautiful parts of the city you might otherwise miss altogether. For anyone who has ever watched true crime unfold on the screen, it is an experience not to be missed!!!!!

Awesome tour covering history, architecture and true crime - and a good outdoor walk (very gentle) too. Elliot is also a master storyteller and for the total duration of the tour I literally felt I was in another universe. I was so engrossed I forgot to take photos hence the limited offering! I went on this tour today and found it to be absolutely excellent. Elliot is very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I grew up in Sydney and know a little of its history but this information was largely new to me. The amount of walking was just right. (About 4kms at a reasonable pace). I went on the tour with a group of family and friends on NYD. It was a great tour, very interesting information on the "underbelly" of Sydney in years past which was developed over the tour. Elliot has a good grasp of the local history; but more importantly he is a great story teller. He was very energetic and entertaining. It was a pretty hot day when we went and there is there is a lot of walking - wear comfortable shoes and take water.

His information pack is very detailed and a great supplement to the tour which provided lots of context. Highly recommended for any history or true crime fans.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Elliot held a captive audience for three hours with his knowledge of Surry Hills history. I’ve lived in the area for more than 20 years and heard stories and discovered streets that I never knew existed. Would totally do this tour again. Outstanding.
