You have lost my business. I will never shop at Petbarn Chatswood again after a SHOCKING experience at the in-store grooming salon. Do NOT subject your dog to that experience or waste your hard earnt money!!

If you are looking for grooming services BE WARNED!! this place is nothing more than a shearing shed for dogs, they are lined up and thrown onto a table with their coats sheared off in a very rough fashion with no time, care or consideration to the pet. Worst of all, we collected our dog after the groomers had left for the day to find that they had not groomed her face and had not washed her!!!, but instead sprayed her with an aweful perfume which once had lifted we were left with the same smelly coat. $80 for a full groom to have this experience?!! Phoned 10 times and left 3 phone messages but phone call never returned. We will never return and have shared our horrendous experience with all our fellow local dog loving families. This business should be closed down!

I have been going to petbarn chatswood for a few years. All staff has been really great until yesterday that I’ve got my 2 dogs in for grooming, nothing wrong with grooming but something was very wrong with grooming staff name Ruby!! We will never go back there ever again if she’s still working there. So very disappointed the way she treated us!! Not a happy customer! By the way, we’ve got 5 dogs, so you are loosing our business.

I have never had an issue with the grooming service however cancelling appointments, apologising for the inconvenience and then not able to reschedule them as soon as possible is whole different story! I have booked my pet's grooming appointment online 6 weeks ahead and the day before I get a text to say it has been cancelled with an apology for the inconvenience. Yes, I understand that the groomer had Covid but this has happened to me twice and it wasn't due to Covid both times. The last time it was cancelled when I was at the groomers dropping my pet off only to be advised there was a system glitch! One would expect that you do what it takes to fit the people inconvenienced by the cancellation asap but I was told that it would be another couple weeks or that I should try another Pet barn. A joke I have to say and Amy wasn't the least bit apologetic at all!

Great range, able to locate everything I was after. Staff were friendly and helpful both on the floor and at the registers. I do find it a bit expensive, it would be great if they could include more budget friendly items within their range - in saying that I did find some items heavily discounted which was great, but low cost items generally would be a great addition ie pet foods. Five stars for their customer service though, simply excellent.

Very disappointed in the pet grooming service there, large dog owners be aware! I took my Labrador there this week for a full grooming appointment, was told they will charge extra handling fee if applicable, which I accepted. 10 minutes later they called me said they can’t handle my dog so they could only give him a shampooed wash and TOWEL DRY, for $70, and my dog was still very wet when I picked him up! The grooming service there was great last year, but now the staff seem rude and negligent, never going back again!

(For me it's dogs) I been to so many pet stores not a single person has approached and helped like you did today at Petbarn. Your product knowledge is fantastic and willing to help is beyond. Definitely got an amazing passion in what you do. You kept calm and always gave smile. I'm writing this as there are so many pet loves just like me who wants to learn about all aspects of their fur babies. Thank you and keep up your passion towards these wonderful companions we have in our lives. I will bring my boys to the store. Store looks amazing and all products are well labelled and organised. Easy to walk and there is always a helping hand. We'll done all.

Today Tatiana helped me with a question in regards to kibble size and our dogs. We have a Golden Retriever and a Cavoodle. Unfortunately at times our Cavoodle scoffs his food and chokes. Instead of new kibble she recommended a slow feeder which would fit inside the dogs existing bowl. Thank you so much as it was perfect and helped him slow down and not eat like a retriever! You even carried my kibble to the counter and car which wasn’t necessary but most certainly appreciated.

There's a new groomer called Erin who is amazing!! Took Maya there on Tuesday and she's never looked better. Thanks Erin :)

Full range store that offers all the products you need. The store has a groomers and adjoining Green Cross vets. Also sell fish and aquarium products. Had a couple issues with products scanning at the wrong price. Apparently I have to tell the cashier the products are marked down so they can manually adjust the price. I thought that’s what the bright yellow stickers were for? On one occasion I checked my receipt in the car park, when I went in to get the overcharge corrected the staff member followed me out to my car so she could check the price on the product. Have been a member for 5 years and the recent change in loyalty vouchers not being stored in my account has me looking at other stores with better service.

Good experience. We got a deal for $30 off for any purchase over $50. As members you also get a nice discount % off. The staff were nice and patient. We did have a transaction issue where i was charged more than i should have. A refund was done super quickly and I had the funds back into my account within a few days. Total of our goods came to around $70, but with the deal and membership discount we only paid around $20. Was wonderful! Store was not very busy either and it was an overall good experience. It was one of the bigger stores I've seen and they had a lot more choices compared to other petbarn stores I've visited in the past.

All staff were helpful, particularly Tatiana, who took a long time to explain the differences in harnesses, I was very impressed with her knowledge, and her patience in showing me the products was much appreciated. Wide range of animals products. I have pets like dogs, fish, and guinea pigs, never needed to go to another store. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Close to the vet as well.

Very happy about the visit. Found handicapped Park by front door. Bought two big bags of cat litter. Very friendly young man offered to assist getting them to the car. Opened the boot for us and loaded up. Think his name was JESSIE. Overall Very positive experience and Jessie made it easy.

Abysmal service, if I could give 0 stars I would. Constantly charge me for food they do not have in stock, then attempt to refund me the balance but take days and sometimes weeks to get me my money back. In the meantime I am out money AND have to still find my dog his food. Completely useless customer service, and a business built entirely on ripping people off and mistreating their animals.

Will never shop at petbarn Chatswood again. Terrible service, was told the online special isn't available but will give me individual cans instead. I grabbed some packets and was told no cans only they are packets even if same brand. We don't have any cans, we'll that was a waste of time. Was told "well too bad things run out" when I said I might shop elsewhere he shrugged and walked off. I shopped elsewhere

Such a great and wonderful experience at petbarn Chatswood this morning. Tatiana’s service was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced! She was patient and so friendly, it definitely made my morning. Thank you!!!

Friendly service. Fresh selection of crickets. Always good to see dog around the shop. The fish section is worth a look. Vet and grooming services are located under the same roof. Plenty of on-site carpark.

Has literally anything and everything. Is expensive compared to options online but if you want a great relaxing browsing experience to see things you didn't know you needed (yes, I know that's how they get you, but still). Easy and convenient parking for in and out. Also, very pet friendly of course, but take them in too; groomer on-site and Vet next door.

Sophia is a great team member of yours. She walked me through the different feeding needs for my new puppy. She walked me through the chews to buy for a new puppy and the treats to use for training. She’s a great asset !!!! Will def be coming back for all my future pet needs !!!

I odered a few items to be delivered, however I forgot to order another item and called the store. I decided to come in and pick up the bedding that I forgot to order and I received a call from the manager wondering if I also wanted to pick up the items waiting to be delivered to me and they can cancel the delivery fee, as I was coming in anyway. I really appreciate that attention to detail from her, I forgot her name however I really appreciate the fact that she went out of her way to call me and try to make the process more convenient for me. The staff are beyond lovely every single time I am here. Thank you. :)

Great grooming for my short-haired dog. Whatever they use is absolutely fantastic and at a really reasonable price. You can even choose “add-ons” for really cheap ($15 for 3) - we normally go with Fresh Breath, Beauty and Sensitive skin. The staff are really helpful and even showed us how to clip the dogs nails correctly. Overall the grooming is fantastic! 5/5 Stars! On the other hand, the general store could be improved by employing more staff to be on hand for any help. The dog food stock was extremely low at one point but thankfully, it is back up again now. The range of harness is great, I just wish that they would educate the employees about the different types and uses of collars. The special offers on toys (Mix and Match) is great but the quality isn’t very durable for those heavy chewers! Always at the register, they offer a treat which is great but my dog, being allergic to lots of things, I would like to know the ingredients so maybe have a photo of the treats you are handing out. Overall, okay service but a lot of products… 3/5 stars!!

Friendly and informative staff and always well stocked. I bring my dog here to get her nails cut too and the service is always great and speedy!

What makes you guys standout are the super helpful staffs in this store. Big shout out to Tatiana, it is that extra mile of effort she put in to help and now the mysterious cuts on my puppy's paws are healing. Tatiana is very knowledgeable and patience. She is someone who work with her heart. Thank you so so much for the care for the paw parents and to treat each pet so seriously. Highly recommended this store.

Ready parking, great range and very competitive on dog grooming.

I’ve visited this store twice now. Both times store staff were not attentive to waiting customers. First time 3 attendants were playing with customer’s dog instead of serving waiting customers. Second time they chose to serve two different groups before me, even though i was clearly next in line. I was also asked to leave the area even though i was the first person to get there patiently waiting for someone to serve me. I would suggest that staff undergo a little bit more training to ensure more pleasant customer experience.
