My
mother-in-law
went
to
Bankstown-Lidcombe
hospital
on
Tuesday
via
ambulance
as
she
could
not
breathe,
she
was
asked
to
take
all
her
meds
with
her,
which
she
has
in
a
webster
pack,
with
her
name
clearly
labelled
on
it.
When
she
arrived
at
the
emergency
department,
the
nursing
staff
of
course
took
her
meds
to
log
into
the
system.
Now
when
she
was
sent
home
they
didn't
hand
it
back
to
her.
After
getting
home
she
realised
that
the
hospital
didn't
give
her
meds
back,
so
my
husband
went
to
the
emergency
department
to
go
retrieve
the
meds,
but
they
couldn't
find
them.
My
mother-in-law
was
only
ever
in
the
emergency
department,
so
my
husband
insisted
that
someone
find
the
meds
as
my
mother-in-law
required
her
meds
for
home.
It
took
3
nursing
staff
to
locate
a
webster
pack
that
clearly
has
her
name
on
it!
This
is
not
the
first
time
Bankstown
hospital
has
lost
items
of
ours,
my
now
departed
mother
was
sent
to
Bankstown-Lidcombe
hospital
last
August
2021,
with
her
C-pap
machine,
which
she
needed
to
breathe
as
she
was
on
oxygen
24/7
and
they
lost
that
machine
and
no
staff
member
could
locate
it.Now
due
to
COVID
and
us
not
been
able
to
see
her,
we
were
not
told
of
this
until
5days
into
her
stay.
My
father
had
to
travel
down
to
RPA
hospital,
where
she
had
her
regular
treatment,
to
get
a
machine
from
the
respiratory
unit
for
my
mother
and
of
course
no
nursing
staff
from
the
respiratory
unit
or
nursing
staff
at
Bankstown
hospital
could
work
this
machine!
My
darling
mother
eventually
died
at
Bankstown
hospital
on
the
10th
of
August
2021
from
staff
negligence
and
lack
of
knowledge.
You
send
your
family
there
for
treatment
but
they
don't
come
back.
Be
careful
people
not
to
make
to
same
mistake
my
family
and
I
made
allowing
her
to
be
sent
there!
An
absolute
disgrace
of
a
hospital!
