The most amazing eye hospital ❤️ Thank you for looking after my Dad. My dad’s eye surgery went well and I am so forever grateful for that. Thank you once again 🙏🌸💐🌹🌺🌷🌻 You have been amazing! Everyone was so nice and was so professional! My dad has hearing problems but they did not raise their voices and was super gentle to him which I appreciated. Sutherland hospital staffs screamed in his ears abruptly which was very unprofessional. I also got an embedded eye lash (foreign object) removed from my eyes, I couldn’t see for weeks due to my eyes being infected but they fixed it, thank you once again.

Went for pcr test, the nurse seemed be very distressed (The testing centre wasn’t even busy, I was the only patient there at approx. 1pm, I saw another patient waiting there on my way out). She was very impatient till a point that I feel like as if I have owed her a big sum of money. Understand medical staff is under a lot of stress, but the hospital needs to address the issue because I don’t think the public would feel confident being treated in a place like this.

I visited Sydney Eye Hospital recently and found my experience far less than satisfactory. To begin with, the wait times were incredibly long, even for pre-scheduled appointments. Time is precious, and this lack of regard for patients' schedules was disheartening. Secondly, privacy and confidentiality, fundamental to patient rights, were severely lacking. Consultation rooms were shared between multiple patients, making it impossible to have private, confidential discussions about sensitive health issues. Moreover, I noticed that the hospital heavily relies on junior doctors who, although enthusiastic, often seemed rushed and lacked the experience needed to instill a sense of trust and security. This, combined with a lack of adequate supervision, was concerning. Adding to this was a constant disruption during the consultation as doctors and nurses kept opening the door, which was incredibly distracting and intrusive. To top it off, the storage and handling of medical files were not up to standard, with files often left in places easily accessible to the public eye. Lastly, overheard conversations between nurses and doctors about patients were all too common. This lack of professionalism and breach of patient confidentiality was unsettling. In conclusion, my experience at Sydney Eye Hospital left much to be desired. Improvements in patient wait times, privacy, and professional conduct are urgently needed.

Very poor on entry. Had admitted my mother in law to level 1 but while waiting for her to have procedure I really needed to go to toilet. Went to entry and was told to go to A&E and was confronted with a very intimidating person requesting me to have a mask and sign in. I informed her I just needed to go to the toilet. She kept insisting on me going to the main entrance. I hate that some people in responsible positions don’t understand and respect needs of others before their ‘black and white’ understanding of their jobs. On top of that I had to park on the street as the hospital car had not opened, after making my mother in law comfortable on the ward I moved my car to the car park. I tried to see what I paid for while parked on street, only to realise I had been charged $100.28. So I will not be going back

One of Sydneys most disorganised hospitals ! Absolute joke of a hospital , nurses are clueless change dates and times of elderly patients on last minute via phone call, making it impossible for them to arrange transportation. Then only to be told when they arrive “why have you showed up early “ .Complete and utter chaos with Zero care for the elderly patients This hospital needs proper management to get it organised so patients don’t have to go through hell dealing with incompetent staff. !

Lady who answered the phone named Melissa had a rude and abrupt manner. Told us that wait times to see a doctor at emergency is 3-4 hours with a very nonchalant and careless attitude. I called another hospital not long after my chat with Melissa and the staff were so helpful and kind that I thought it was important to leave this feedback about Sydney Eye Hospital.

After my first emergency visit to check for floaters/flashes I was given a follow up appointment for 6 weeks later where I was told to go to the second entrance next door - swipe my Medicare card on the machine, say no messages and printed receipt - done ✅ then wait in the relevant area as directed by the helpful staff 🙂

Waited for my appointment for almost 2 hours. After they checked my eyes, nothing was wiped or disinfected. No wonder people get covid in hospitals. Disgusting place. I hope I never have to come back here. No courtesy for people waiting. Dr arrive 1 hr late.

Had my surgery done here can’t fault any of the staff but last week was a nightmare with Covid testing !!!Covid Testing Why don’t large hospital s who have patients waiting for results not have their own self testing wouldn’t that be easier than sending everyone home than have the results in 10 minutes have your surgery instead of getting sent home this has happened to my dad and me in a week it’s not fair and it’s not our fault Get with the program Sydney eye hospital and others I did have my eye surgery the next week great doctors and staff

Emergency department is brilliant and deserved 5 stars however the in hospital experience was severely underwhelming. Food was atrocious with a 12 Month useby date which I wouldn't even feed to my dog and the afternoon/evening staff very inconsiderate of patients trying to sleep and recover from surgery with their loud raucous voices and socialising. Definitely not overworked with too much time to gossip.

Well organised with the long lines and anyone can come and be tested here IF you feel you have symptoms or close contact to possible cases. Staff are help and positive under such difficulties

COVID testing clinic unprofessionally run and disorganised. Arrived at the clinic at 3.30pm to be met by a security worker advising that the queue was being cut, after I had just witnessed the last person join the queue seconds before me. No information on the website to inform visitors of such early closing (website states 1 hour before) and a sign by the queue states last registration at 5.30pm. Inconsistent with the information they are providing verbally! I was turned away after explaining that I’m a close contact and have to show the results to my company to return back on Boxing Day. I was advised to travel to RPA or Bankstown which by the time I would arrive to either one, I could be turned away again. I wanted to speak to someone who may have more authority, turns out the security have the highest authority in this case as I explained my situation to a mature lady with short hair and glasses who was unconcerned by my welfare, by explaining if security have cut the queue so early then she cannot ‘condemn’ their decision. I think the qualities people are lacking from this clinic are empathy and compassion for other peoples circumstances. Disgraceful behaviour considering we are simply trying to carry out our duty of care to others and be responsible by testing for COVID, this makes me question whether things are that serious if healthcare workers are not taking this seriously.

Another amazing hospital. I had nothing but a positive experience here starting with front line staff (reception) right up to the amazing doctor I saw for my eye situation. Nurses were in between and they were amazing too. Nothing but kindness and understanding and extremely thorough. I came out there knowing what was happening to me and that was a huge relief. So thank you thank you thank you so much for taking care of me with respect and dignity.

While the hospital itself is really great, the wait times for outpatients is just terrible. The nurses do a great job looking after the patients before they see the doctor however there is usually one doctor who sees all the patients which blows out the wait time; with 3 rooms equipped and ready to be used. On a particular visit, the nurses covered 20 patients in a 2 hour while I did not see a doctor for a single patient during that time. It wasn’t until 2.5 hours and a complaint from another outpatient did we see doctors come and follow up with outpatients

Specifically talking about the outpatient clinic. Terrible service. They never see patients on time (even with scheduled regular appointments) and make them wait for hours on end. They seem to always over book, are understaffed or not take into consideration the time it takes to see patients. People are sometimes forced to stand for ages because there's not enough seats - this is terrible for elderly people. I really hope they change this.

Attended SE Hospital last month after suffering from conjunctivitis, which wasn't but rather a 'viral bacterial infection that attacked my eyes' causing severe pain for weeks. In under (1 hour if that) I was seen. The service from point of entry by the lady at the 'doors' to the service provided by the Nurse & Doctor that took care of me (unfortunately I forgot their names). Can't thank them enough for the friendly, warm, caring and professional services they provided and showed me on the day - assisted in relaxing and knowing I was in good hands. Thank you to that wonderful Nurse & Doctor! Janet

Aboriginal people please avoid Sydney eye hospital Uvitis clinic! Normally the staff are great but not lately. I am Aboriginal and today My appointment kept being put back while other people who came after me ( some cases two hours after me) kept being put in front of me. Initially, I checked in, my file was ‘missing’ for one hour. Once I asked them about it they suddenly found it. I then watch as other files kept being put on top of it. I queried and after another hour I was sent for tests while others who had come after me were seen before me. I queried about my place as I was running out of time. At 11:30am two people in front. By 12:30pm seven people, whose appointments were after mine and were seen before me. I don’t mind emergencies but these people were obviously given preferred treatment! I can only conclude racism as I am Aboriginal and clearly not a preferred race. The staff had no care about what was happening and getting information out of them was hard and they were rude and uncaring. Ive been at the clinic since 2010 and I have only been treated well until 2017 and badly today! I think Aboriginal people should avoid the Uvitis clinic at Sydney eye hospital. It took them five years to make an appointment for me after repeatedly losing my referrals and the information that I even contacted them. The service has been going downhill but today was disgusting and blatant racism against an Aboriginal person.

I can relate to the long wait, guess there might be a shortage in stuff. So Doctors may be over worked so they show up late. But at least you get a “smile.”

I was transported to Sydney Eye Hospital from POW a couple of weeks ago. The care I received was phenomenal over the 3 day stay. I would like to thank Dr Wang and staff including Paris and Kerryn for above and beyond care of myself. I doubt whether I will find this excellence of care elsewhere. Also the food was terrific. Thank you again. Regards Carolyn Brown

I went here like 5 years ago on my first visit to australia, and they were really great couldn’t fault them at all, I know it’s called eye hospital but it isn’t only for eyes. However I recently visited them and I have to say this is the worst hospital I have ever been to... and Iv been to ones across all parts of Europe & Asia and seen my fair share. Now as a British citizen and being fortunate enough to have the NHS and free health care I already fully understand the inhumane ways of other countries that just want to see your money before actually helping you...but being on certain visas we are entitled some free healthcare... as soon as I said this they were challenging it from the offset and seemed begrudged when they found out what I said was true.. now the attitude of the employees here are what have actually got me writing this review...they seemed totally bored, grumpy and unwilling to help. I get it’s long hours and not the best pay but still you can still be professional to people looking for help isn’t that a key characteristic of their jobs? They thought my symptoms weren’t a priority which is laughable considering previously having suffered from bacterial/viral infections in Asia which can result in death and showing them again, I knew what I was feeling again. After telling the doctor this after a long wait and him point blank looking me in the face and telling me he’s unwilling to help me with any tests he said good luck and sent me on my way. I went to a private medical centre, coughed up the money and got my diagnosis off them which was something serious and potentially fatal if untreated. Not even sure how people get jobs like this, the people here are a joke and this place is a disgrace. If I could give it 0 stars I would!

Nurses here are the worst, very inefficient, slow, lack of empathy and the rudest nurses ever - in the outpatient eye department reception 2. Had to wait for 3-5 hours every time. Need to find staff who is more effective and efficient in doing the work especially in the hospital!

We have arrived in the hospital at 9am and finished at past 1pm on friday. Entire consulation and testings only took less than half an hour and we had to wait almost 4hours in total. Our patient also had knee surgery and all this waiting time has been excrutiating pain for him. I would not recommend this hospital unless it is really that necessary.

They should learn how to manage patient’s time. I came in ED and waited several hours. At least 7-8 people who were registered after me, were seen by the doctors already, while I was waiting. The doctors and nurses are very nice, but the department should definitely learn how to respect time. Highly unprofessional when it comes to time If allowed, I would have given negative rating for the time management.

Took a friend to ED for eye at 3pm Sunday. She did a CT at 5pm, finished in 15mins and be told to wait for the report on site. We waited for 2 hours ish in waiting room, hearing nothing from anyone so went back to nurse and check the status. We then being told the CT needed to be sent to the radiologist in “another hospital” so they have no idea when they could hear back. The only thing we could do is waiting. My friend was finally able to see the doctor around 9pm now. I could not believe we are in an emergency room for eyes. There are others in the waiting room staying here hours without any notice how the heck long they have to wait. My friend got injury on an eye, she kept feeling dizzy and strong disorder during hours of wait. We do appreciate the emergency service. However, please consider to be more communicative to your patients in a proactively way. Please also consider to provide the service in a timely manner, which is an ED should do. You charge extra fee for ED service, please get the patients what they deserve.

I have to say I am disgusted at the service I received at this government facility, it was appalling! I waited 4 hours with severe eye pain, could not open my eye or see and no one saw me any sooner. After the 4 hour wait I saw a doctor who examined me for possibly 30 seconds and prescribed me eye drops - he advised I has an eye infection and that was it / I had to beg him to get a doctors certificate as well. By the end of the night my eye was worse, so I went and saw a private doctor who advised I had CORNEAL ULCER which is known as an eye emergency and can lose your vision!!!! The doctor at the so called Eye Hospital did not explain the severity of my infection and did not prescribe me the correct drops. I could have lost my vision so I’m appalled! Please DO NOT WASTE your time here. The doctor who saved my eye and sight is Dr Allan Ared who is based at Omni Eye Centre in Kogarah. He is a genius!

I have to say "Thank You" to All the staff at Sydney Eye Hospital. Every person we dealt with was absolutely brilliant. The staff were kind, considerate and knowledgeable. The nurses and doctors are experts in their field, taking the time to explain procedures to patients and their bedside manner was so caring. Whilst with a patient at the Sydney Eye Hospital, I observed waiting rooms, I listened to the way other staff were speaking and treating other patients and across the board, every single staff member, from the admin staff, cleaners, kitchen staff to the nurses and doctors all the way to operating theater, staff could not be faulted. There wasn't anything staff wouldn't do, to make the process and stay comfortable for patients. I've heard people complain about hospitals, and yes, there can be some heavy waiting times however, that is through no fault of the staff. The staff at this hospital deserve medals for their patience and service not abuse. They are understaffed and more doctors are needed to help reduce the waiting times in hospitals, and yes, a formal complaint has been lodged with Health Care Complaint Commission because I believe it's important to support those who support the community. You're all Champions. Thank you for your service. Angela Christie

What an incredible team. Every staff member that we dealt with provided us with great care. This includes the lovely staff member who assists people to sign in. He was not only helpful, but so cheerful and polite that he makes the experience so much better. The doctors are very professional and empathetic and go above and beyond to provide patients with first class health care. Great to see a public hospital like this.

What is the point of having an emergency if the wait is over 6 hours. Is this what we pay taxes for? Unbelievable. I told the triage nurse that my pain was a 10/10 and she did nothing. Shouldn’t pain management be one of the highest priorities in patient care? Lack of empathy and compassion. Start paying staff more, nurses in particular so that the great nurses can remain in the field and provide excellent patient care. Sydney eye hospital is a joke.

Went there tonight with Covid 19 symptoms immediately after visiting my local doctor and they told me i couldn't be tested. I even rang them beforehand and they told me to come immediately for a test. The 2 nurses on duty at the window, one severely overweight just couldn't care less. Not sure why but seems very reckless.

After reading a few reviews while on the bus this Sunday morning ,while on my way for some much needed attention with an eye infection ,that would not go away, after seeing my local GP 3 times , spending $240 to see a local eye specialist ,which was a waste of time and money I braved the thought of going to the emergency room. I was pleasantly surprised how quick I was seen. The staff were very professional and polite and I even joked with them. I was expecting to be there all day ,but was promptly seen by the nurse and the doctor soon after. Explained the condition ,cleaned and patched me up and I was on my way. From my experience medical emergency rooms are busy places ,so don't give bad reviews because you had to wait. I had to take an American friend there a few years ago ,she scratched her eye with her contact lense. She was treated quickly and this was at night time. 10/10 customer service and especially for the staff working on a Sunday Up date back to the hospital for my check up 8 am appointment . Was seen extremely quickly and the waiting room was packed Very professional doctor on duty ,took the time to show a fellow doctor who hadn't seen my condition before. Have another appointment in a few weeks ,to see if the medication works ,my need a little eye surgery. For all those bad reviewers out there ,you are lucky that you have a facility that not only caters for the Australian public but also overseas visters. Try visiting a hospital on the NHS and see how long you wait. Further updates These doctors ,nurses and administration staff are amazing. Arrived early today for my appointment. Still ongoing care. And surprisely was seen earlier than my appointment. I can not speak highly enough of the staff ,as a young kid growing up in the UK my father worked in the old Westminster hospital in biochemistry research. I spent a lot of my childhood around hospitals at my father work place. The care I have received lately has been outstanding and I just wonder why anyone would complain about a free service. So you had to wait a while ,I came prepared to day with some work stuff I could do on a tablet. Just think the next time when slagging off a leading eye specialist hospital, because 4/4 visits this last few month have been amazing and the level of care outstanding. Thank you for looking after me truely outstanding

Refusing entry to emergency department for none vaccinated people. Rang the hospital and was told by hardly english speaking lady that a person must be fully vaccinated to attend emergency eye department. Shame on you shame. This is highly illegal that any hospital refuses emergency treatment. UPDATE 7/2/2022 No pcr/rat test no entry to day clinic as per their sms. Shame shame on you for failing sick people, you are forcing a person to give up their basic rights to body integrity. UPDATE 27/1/2022: Visited emergency department to see if above was the fact and it was not. I was seen after some basic questions and temperature check,do not call eye hospital if you need emergency treatment they will turn you away on the phone,go in person and they can not refuse emergency treatment. Receptionist was very nice,Triage nurse rude and arrogant, doctors where nice but didn't provide enough information or letter for my GP. My optometrist gave me more info then they did. Security needs to learn to take care of their uniforms.

The treatment here is reasonable with most staff professional and caring. But you can expect to wait for long periods even when you have an appointment. Much longer waiting time without an appointment. Covid screening staff can be very rude. Facilities for those waiting are poor. No vending machines for drinks. But I found a water cooler in one waiting area.

be prepared to wait several hours, at least 4 hours waiting, even if you are in the emergency room, to see a doctor! in my case, I needed surgery on my hand after an accident at work, I waited 4 hours to see the doctor and she told me that there was no vacancy for the surgery, just the other day. when I arrived the other day to have the surgery, I had to wait another 5 hours to be seen, without eating or drinking since the night before! this is absurd that this kind of treatment still exists with people! don't waste your time here!

I have been to this hospital many times and being treated under Retinopathy, Visual and Gloucoma section. Everything perfect except in Gloucoma section, where waiting time is extremely high. That's Sometimes more than 3 hrs. Need some improvement to reduce patient's waiting time. Otherwise everything perfect and very professional. I am happy with the treatment and positive results.

Mentioing just a few names . Doctors Dr.Ghabrial, Marlo, Clenent. Nurses Lynne, Penny, Geajal, Laura, Melissa & Rebecca. My op was a bilateral lowerlid performed in Theatre 6. A huge thank you to you all. Happy patient Cynthia Fouche. I had my final review tiday and again would like to compliment staff and doctors for their superb work. The wait was long but understandable in such a huge organization. Thank yoy again looking forward to next phase of cataracts.🙏🙏

There was a fellow Dr who was extremely rude, unprofessional, non chalant, impatient and medically inaccurate with my mother who was undergoing treatment for her post op. The nurses covered for her and refused to tell us her name. NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL.

The eye Hospital staff is professional and friendly. The pathology reception is however rude, slack and unhelpful. They have refused to collect my blood even there are no patients there.

I visited the emergency section of the Sydney Eye Hospital, for a detailed eye examination. I’m impressed by the quality of the care I received there. Pupil size and reaction times, vision and the condition of retina were checked by the nurses and Dr Thomas Desmond, who is an impressive young doctor, highly skilled and compassionate. The place also has numerous specialised equipment to perform a thorough examination. The patient turn over appeared to be quick which shows the efficiency of their work procedures. Thank you.

I had to wait a few hours even though I was the only one in the room, but once I got in the doctors were so lovely and amazing, it was worth the wait.

I had a bad infected splinter on my hand. Told me probably I had to do a surgery but they didn't know when exactly. Dr Malcom ask me if I was happy to remove it straight away. He did an amazing job! He was so gentle but practical at the same time. I will be ready to go back to my nomal life sooner then anticipated. Thank you!

Went to the hospital for eye trouble, and the reception ladies were super helpful with my travel insurance info. Dr. Dhiren was great, and everything went quick and smooth.

Staff and Doctors are amazing - waiting time is more - other private clinics are very expensive - very good diagnostic, explanation, which saved me.

Agreed with the other reviews about the awful waiting time at this hospital. I had an appointment at 10:50am and had to wait for 3 hours to see the doctor even on the day when it wasn't that busy! The first doctor - Ben Lim that I saw was incredibly caring and helpful when he was looking after my injured left eye. However, the second doctor Helmut Yu whom I saw after wasn't as good. He was still chatting and joking aroind with his colleague while me, the last patient was still sitting outside after 3 hours. Even one of the nurses had to went into his room and asked him "could you please see the last patient as she has been here for 3 hours!" And when he finally saw me, he didnt take the time to understand the cirscumtances and the notes that Dr. Ben left previously and just rushed the whole thing.

I'm sick to death of trying to call and confirm an eye operation ! No one answers the phone within working hours. The confusion of what is written and what is said is enough to drive you mad.

  • 1/5 Abel C. 4 years ago on Google
The staff is rude and showing no respect. Called to complain and a nice lady tried to transfer me to the boss. During waiting for the boss to pick up the phone, a lady just picked up my phone, said "Hold on" then hang me off for no reason. Then I called again, my phone was hung off immediately. I called the third time, and finally finished my complain. I guess somebody doesn't want me to reach the complaining department.

I have visited on a number of occasions and, being a public hospital, it is always very busy - expect a wait even if you have an apppintment (You will need a referral from your GP). If your condition is urgent you can visit the Emergency Detpartment where you will be assessed by a Triage Sister. Very best professional nursing and specialist care. Visiting Specialist Fellows from around the Commonwealth.

Parking is almost non existent but I don't know who or how or what employment protocols this hospital has and are but today at the Emergency department I had to deal with this prehistoric Asian old lady that was so arrogant rude and stressed out person and if only wasn't for her age id have told her where to go when I questioned her about her work integrity..! What a horrible person..!!!

Wait 2,5 hours even when an appointment was booked , emergency is more faster. I was completely upset when doctor didn’t close the door ,didn’t listen to me, it looked like he was in a harry to get me out of his office faster and my vision test took exactly 2 min, although 6 weeks ago the same check up it took 30 min with another very pleasant doctor who was very attentive.

wait for 2 hours is emergency room, left unattended, asked front desk how long it takes to visit Dr, she said up to 6 hours. I couldn’t wait that long, asked her to cancel my registration and she said Okay. Two weeks later received invoice of $147. Call them back to follow up, hospital staff said, since you registered to visit Dr, you have to pay. This is nonsense, I didn’t receive any consultation.

Went to the emergency department this morning. I didn't know that I didn't need a referral. I probably arrived at 11.00 am and left at 1.00 pm. It was a bit of a wait but each person I met were friendly and polite including the eye doctor.

when I came to the reception and the staff told me to wait for someone put me in the system first and there is a fee of $143. However I waited for about 2 HOURS and no one helped me to do that. During the waiting time a female staff called me once and checked my eyes condition simply and let me waiting outside again. this is the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced in Australia. Such a waste of time and even not many people waiting there. And I even received an invoice letter to force me to pay that fee.

I would have given more than 5 stars for the service provided by the staff on the evening of 30 Aug 2021. Although it took about 3 hours for me to be treated, that is to be expected after-hours at ED's. My illness wasn't life threatening and those more urgent cases have to be attended to first. The nurses were very compassionate and checked on waiting patients to make sure they are alright. I was treated by Dr Mark Zada. He was not only very proficient as an eye specialist but also showed character of true medical professional who go out of his way to care for the welfare of his patients. He asked an elderly man, who have been there for a long while, whether he had any food or need any assistance to go home. Dr Zada apologised a number of times to me for keeping me waiting while he had to attend to more important cases. The staff deserve an applause for serving the community.

This place is a real disaster. It’s extremely disorganised and slow. I would NOT recommend for COVID testing! I understand that due to the current situation, hard to keep up with high demand but the situation at the Sydney eye hospital is caused by really bad / disorganised system All of my friends had really bad experience there too. Highly recommend 4 Cyte Pathology they are efficient and professional.

The service is the worst. I arrived from the emergency and I paid for a private appointment and they made me wait 3 hours. It is one of the worst health clinics in Sydney and Australia, I think. I don’t recommend this place. they let you die!! So bad service

No social distance. I came for an appointment. Waited 45 minutes just to let reception know I was there for a my appointment. While awaiting for my appointment I was seeing how long it would be as my mother was at the cafe with my baby and he needs to be breast fed and a nurse rudely told me off for asking the reception and saying I shouldn’t be expected to be seen at my appointment time I tried to explain to them that I was only asking to work out if I go and feed baby and come back. She was so rude and I wasn’t even speaking to them.

I was on crutches and they assisted me with a wheel chair and somone to take me place to place very loverly service, it was much appreciated as it was a long day seeing specialist Dr wong. The was added to afternoon list to have an eye injection. Rather than waitin for another appointmen weeks later. The staff are very friendly and organised to get everyone thru to their injection looks like a airplane everyone lined up and seated. But the staff treat ypu respectable as your the only one there. I hate going ther but i love the staff as they make the fear go away. Thank you to the doctors registers, eye doctors to nurses people doing eyetests aswell as the secretary staff you all do a great job. Well organised visit. Thank you.

Before i start my rant, i just wanna say there's nothing wrong with the ability of the doctors and nurses, what's wrong is the hospital's rubbish management skills. I can't believe I waited for two hours just to check my eyesight, and more than one hour to get my eyes scanned. If it still takes such a long time to wait, then why instaling those fancy check-in machines in the first place??????? My time is wasted and if there's an option for no star for the review, i would have chosen that!

  • 1/5 serafina H. 10 months ago on Google
To be honest, I don’t even wanna get one star. My patient waited more than one hour and all the people behind us were called ahead of us. It was very unfair! And the reception reacted rude. I don’t know what the process here and how the que works. Because of discrimination? It was a bad experience!

Terrible! Sydney Eye hospital Visit 2017 for same procedure, result excellent - all care taken, painless & expertly done by Doctor Visit 2022: chalazion drain : Another expert Doctor finished procedure in 5 minutes - no anaesthetic required. However 8 August, 2023- appointment 2pm: (eventually seen at 4.45) Should have been a Simple procedure: a very simple Stye drain - drain did not work - totally bungled from the outset - I was left with shocking black eyes & the styes remain intact They hurried me out (last patient) telling me to “come back in a month” and you should receive a digital appointment time…” I won’t hold my breath…
