Doctor Private hospital

👍👍 My husband went in for a procedure on 15/05/19 from the minute we walked into Reception and through the process and procedures/stay/operation/checkout. This hospital went over and beyond our expectations. The staff and doctors were so thorough and welcoming. It makes the experience so much a better... DidchRged my dad fat to early they don’t treat holistically at this hospital they don’t look At the bigger picture they tell Blayne mis truths on the discharge summaries. Hospital staff don’t watch for pressure sores and don’t communicate effectively. Student who are nurses here need to have more skills and have proper nurses like RNs and Ens not AINs on there case who are fresh out of the classroom. There needs to be more accountability. But apparently from Talking to friends who are nurses in the public system this occurs far to often in the private sector. When the patient is a community nursing patient private sectors need to look at the whole story not just what’s in front of them it’s really poor practice.

My bf got double fusions. Doctor was good and hospital was clean and tidy. But one of nurse named Jane in ward 1 got bad attitude. She raises her voice to patients and their family. Very bossy.

Absolutely unprofessional!! I was supposed to have surgery here on 12:30 and I was waiting for so long to be taken in. It was not until 6pm that they finally took me in to surgery. Mind you I arrived here at 11 am 1hour earlier and have been fasted for 24 hours at this point (no food) and since 9am no water! So I haven’t had any water in 9hours And no food for 33hours until after I had the surgery!! I payed money out of pocket just to be treated like a second class patient here in this hospital. I have waited 1year to have this surgery, something that could of been payed by Medicare but chose to pay out of pocket expecting I was going to go in faster and coming to this hospital had me more frustrated to have them not promise me the time I would go in for surgery. I’m absolutely appalled of how I was treated to wait here I could of used those hours to drink water if I knew I was going to wait for so long but the communication wasn’t there when I asked about why am I waiting for so long. Don’t come here if you value time and money.

Brought my wife in at 09.50am for 10.30 am admission. At 11.30 am still waiting with no-one providing any update. Asked reception what was happening. Told 10.30 is just a check-in time. Now 1.00pm still waiting. Just asked reception again as no-one has provided any updates. Told cannot tell me anything more than was told 90 mins ago. Have asked for nurse. Wife has splitting migraine, cannot eat and cannot get any updates on what is happening. Won't come here again. Nurse just spoke to a number of patients in waiting room. Multiple very unhappy people . Cannot give any idea of when anyone will be taken. People now asking if they can cancel.finally taken through at approximately 2.00pm. on a more positive note, nurses have been great. Very understanding, patient centric. ,

My friend got his hand burned by hot oil. They did not even look. We asked again and again that we need emergency service. He needs attention now. But thek kept telling us that they do not provide emergency service. They told us to go different hospital. What's the point of a hospital in the university premises which cannot provide emergency service to a patient who needs urgent treatment??? Unbelievable!

This is the most responsible GP I have ever seen in Australia. When I encountered difficulties when I was sick, Dr. TOM Wang patiently answered and listened to my ideas, and finally gave very professional answers to help solve my problems. Thanks to my best Tom Wang and Thank you Macquarie uni hospital.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! My parents were seen by Dr Robert Cheng more than 6 months ago last year. They paid about $500 for consulting . Dr Robert told them he would book them in public hospital to have gastrointestinal endoscope and let them contact Macquarie University Hospital again about May this year to get updates of the booking. Therefore I called Macquarie University Hospital today to follow this up. The receptionist was impatient and not helpful at all. She said there was no record of the gastrointestinal endoscope booking whatsoever. It's not their business anymore. The only thing we can do is to wait for public hospital's call. She even said she was too busy with chasing other stuff just to end my call. My parents have never received any examination in public hospital, so they have no idea how it works. If you can't help follow up the booking, shouldn't you send us related docs when you made it so that we at least would've known what'd been done and got some reference to follow up ourselves. Now without any paperwork we don't even know if Dr Robert has ever made this booking, not mention to find out when the examination will happen. IS THIS WHAT WE GET FOR PAYING $500? Long period of waiting without any trace of work the hospital has done.

It’s my first time to have a day surgery at MUH. It’s not a big hospital but it’s neat and tidy at the entrance. Reception is excellent, caring and professional though I was pointed to the wrong reception by the first person(not on L1 but G/F). We both noticed an old lady in wheelchair pushed by her relative looked like almost slipped off from it. The reception who was serving me quickly checked out what’s going on and helped to park the lady at reception and told the relative to drive the car to the front. She then helped him to take her to the car. The nurses who looked after me from change room, surgical theatre and recovery areas, are perfect and made me feel relaxed & comfortable. Dr Jeff Chang was caring and explained the results to me clearly. I cannot thank you enough to all of you for looking after me & made it such a pleasant and stress free visit.

I rang to make an appointment for my 6 monthly scan after having cancer. They asked me to wear a mask and when I told them that I have a medical exemption and I can’t wear a mask. the receptionist said that she will call me back. After 2 hours I called them back and when I told the receptionist my name she was rude and she said that I have to get an exemption letter, I advised her again that I have a medical exception and have one from my gp. she put me on hold, came back to me and said I would need a mask and that’s their policy and that she would not make an appointment unless I agreed to wear a mask. This is complete discrimination and I need to do my scan to ensure the cancer has not returned, this is more important than your policies that discriminate against my health issue that prevent me from wearing a mask. Absolutely ridiculous. I ended up having to go to another company for my scan.

Yulan Yap, is a such great medical professional staff. This was my first impression of good medical treatment process by hospital. Either from phone call appointment making and how to take a train to get there and important thing to be reminded... I feel so cared and loved... Macquarie University Hospital was so new to me, because of Yulan Yap, I am willing to go to this hospital for medical treatment more if I need, Also I respect Macquarie University more ......

Horrible experience with this hospital. They cancelled day surgery after not providing my mother with enough information on after care. I guess they just expect people to be mind readers? I get that there is a huge backlog due to covid but that shouldn't excuse disgustingly poor admin procedures. My mother has been waiting 3 years for this surgery. What's another 3 right? Horrible experience.

I went for eyelid repair surgery. I have had 4 surgeries this year . All at private hospitals and this hospital was by far the worse. I never want to be here again. The nursing staff in the ward are pathetic. With dry blood and whatever else oozing out of my eyes the nurse refused to clean it. I would have done it myself if I had something to do it with and if I could see. She said when you get home wash your face. After the surgery I waited an hour to be fetched to go to the ward, apparently they had lost the bed. Not professional and pathetic I’m sure a public hospital has much better patient management.

Professor Anil Keshava is absolutely a compassionate human being. His exceptional care, impeccable professionalism and compassionate approach left me with nothing but complete satisfaction. My sincere appreciation Anil Keshava. God bless. Dr Felicity the gentle & ever so pleasant anaesthetist made the insertion of cannula a walk in the park given my thin & illusive veins. Thank you so much 🙏doctor. A huge Thank YOU also to all those pre-admission nurses, theatre nurses & post surgery nurses for their non-stop attentive support & care right until the pick up time by my wife. MUH definitely strife for a patient-centric experience, fostering trust and comfort. I would highly recommend Prof: Keshava & Dr Felicity for anyone seeking top-notch medical care. Ravi Raj

The hospital is located on Talavera Road, a short distance from Macquarie Centre. There’s a patient drop off at the entrance. Paid parking is available on Level B1 with entry from Research Park Drive. Alternatively you could park at Macquarie Centre and then walk up. I had my corneal graft operation here. I was impressed with the efficiency that the staff carried out their tasks and the care they provided post operation. There’s a café and pharmacy on ground level.

I have been admitted to MUH 3 times in the last 3 months and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. The staff on ward 4 are amazing. They are friendly, caring, highly professional and the biggest asset the hospital has. It shows what an amazing culture this facility encourages. I would highly recommend MUH’s facilities, staff and surgeons.

Royal North Shore is so much better. This place treats disabled people and clients with complete disregard. Honestly ask your specialist to operate on you elsewhere. The state of this place has gone down hill over the years to the point where Royal North shore is so much better. After finally getting my results back from scans it is conclusive that due to Mac university disregard for my safety and disability that the fall I had further exacerbated injuries for which i was in hospital to repair. After requesting a wheelchair and crutches and being denied those basic safety things. I was also forced to leave while completely unsafe. Did not account for any of my health or disability. Please stay safe and stay clear of this death trap. You have been warned.

Recent admission of my family member in ward 2 after surgery, patient was not comfortable. Patient was asked to buy the medication And eye ointment as the hospital didn’t have it in the ward as it was ordered by the surgeon. Next morning before discharge, a nurse was showing how to apply the eye cream to the patient and she asked the patient s husband if he had the tissue to wipe the excess cream or eye ointment. This nurse should take the tissue or wipes when any eye treatment is given.patient pay lot of money to private hospitals and this is what they get . It is very disappointing to see how some nurses treat their patients, and hospitals telling patients they don’t have medication supplies Here most people think private hospitals are better And comfortable may be we are just wasting our money .Try public see the difference, I feel some public hospitals are far much better and friendly staff . Disappointed .

A lady named Emily, calls me and leaves a message claiming that I have an urgent booking and need to arrange time. I call back to check, the receptionist ask me some questions as if I was lying about the missed call I had and there is no such booking under my name. I do not understand how I was called, if there is no information of myself and the receptionist just transfer me to the 'office'. The receptionist at the 'office' just hangs up when I am explaining the situation. I need clear explanation of how the receptionist managed to have my number and specifically she had knew about my health condition (in regards to GI), when I am in Melbourne and my doctor had never referred to this place. Worst experience I have ever had. No changes made, after all the horrible reviews of the well-known toxic receptionist of Macquarie GI Clinic . Ruins my day through a phone call. Good work!

Recent experience at this hospital for over 2 weeks was extremely upsetting. The care provided was bare minimum, my family and I felt unsupported, invisible and put down. What we hoped for was to feel heard , be informed and empathised with regarding our family members treatment and care but instead the defensiveness, arrogance and lack of empathy was what we got each and every day. Will be pleased to never see this hospital again from doctors to nursing staff you didn’t meet any of our expectations and we are left feeling disappointed and sad for what we went through in that time.

Hospital facilities are good and neat environment, my specialist is very perfessional and care patient well. So I give two stars for that. However, had a horrible experience with nurses!! The nurse urged me to change clothes and said doctor is wating for me, I told her I have been there and wait for 40mins. after that, she found actually another patient before me and also still wait for doctor. After operation, another nurse urged to me to get up the bed even I told her that I was still in heavy dizziness from anesthetic, I asked for rest a bit more, but she told I'm not allowed to rest on the bed and need to get up now. Then I have been taken to a sofa chair, previous nurse kept shouting at me 3 times for commanding me opening eyes even I was too dizzy to open my eyes! So unbelievable!

It's taken me a while to write a review but now that I have another private hospital to Compare it to (SAN) I need to do it. Macquarie University Private Hospital is the bomb! Beautiful, clean and awesome views! The staff were so lovely and attentive, from the security and café staff right through to nursing staff and doctors. Funny I say this but it was sad to leave. Recently had procedure at Sydney Adventist and what a heartbreaking experience that was! Rude nurse admitting me and the medical legal manager topped it all with her defensive and condescending attitude. DON'T go there!! Most overpriced nightmare attitude. Had much better treatment in public hospitals.

I was hoping when i pressed on reviews i'd witness a huge turn around and see positive, remarkable ethics in overall care and a place someone would want to work at. Though, i see the same carelessness and unethical treatment, so you can only imagine what staff get treated like. The leadership in this healthcare facility WAS toxic when i worked here, at times I felt that I was the only member, apart from just a few others whom was professional and really cared for why we were there. The bullying and unethical standard by some was absolutely appalling and degrading to staff and patients, that conduct was right up to some in management, of course they didn't last long; though they done enough damage where the good staff were bullied out or left and they made the mess and than moved on. They've lost some really good staff, and just by looking at the recent reviews people have suffered because of it. Patient care was being neglected when i worked there, due to a manager that came in and tore everyone to pIeces, brought them down, even getting a doctor to lie for them in their agenda to get rid of staff. Id like to say change has occured, though just reading the reviews of patients- it's the same. I'd be very careful in wishing to work here; join a union if you do. And as a patient- you always have the australian medical association.

Decent facilities, mediocre staff/nurses, poor ward doctors. Nurses are not well qualified except few. Again except for a few and specialist doctors, ’ward’ doctors are awful, look incompetent regarding knowledge, experience, attitude. You mostly don't feel that can help you. None read the history of patients in the ward. Every time you have to explain your situation again and again... You are training them! Maybe all those ward doctors we’ve seen in the hospital are interns. You pay the gross amount of money for professional, competent medical service to be treated by professionals but you don't get that much of that service. You are here not because of by choice but by obligation/necessity. I’ve seen worse places than here, but you might still regard it as a good picture of the weak Australian Health Care system.

Very disappointed when my aging father here. No communication with him from doctors, they would do tests and not come to conclusion so just didn't come back and see him. Requested discussion with his doctor only got answer a week later when she happened to visit himat the same time I did. May have great equipment but let down by the staff. Better care and treatment in public hospitals.

Admitted my wife for a surgery today which requires overnight stay, and requested for single room as part of booking request filled in weeks ago, however hospital allocated a shared room. They didn't even bother informing the change, and we only discovered as my wife was wheeled out of surgery theatre. I find it very unprofessional. And they couldn't do anything about the constant conversation happening from next bed and disturbing the peace. We are happy with the Surgeon and Nurses.

STAY AWAY from this hospital! I feel sorry for any patient in their care. There is no compsssion or patient care. They allow inexperienced nurses to do things they're not experienced in and don't care if your in discomfort or not. I had female uterin surgery and needed a catheter re inserted post op. A nurse was told to follow through procedure but was having difficulties because it's not something she was confident doing. I then a doctor come and attempt to insert the catheter, she had the nurse hold a mobile phone torch guid her. After multiple attempts of being stabbed in the (very wrong) and sensitve part of the female anatomy (clitoris) it took for the nurse to whisper to her, your not in the right spot it's not there. A doctor should know the female anatomy, you'd think. By that stage crying from pain due to having a catheter forced into the wrong place the doctor being flustered dropped everything and said we will get somebody else to do it. Shortly after what I could only describe a someone who is a supervisor and two nurses came in the my room. I overheard the supervisor instructing the two girls to get things ready and ill supervise. I if i need to ill step in he said. I broke down as I thought I was going to have it done by a qualified professional and have this ordeal over. Blabbering through my tears i expressed my experience to the supervisor in hopes that he would see my distress and trauma and just do the procedure himself and respect my feelings as a patient. Instead I was responded with, I'm really sorry that happen to you but "they have to have a go" followed by "this happens more often than you'd think unfortunately". My feelings were completely dismissed and ignored, patient care was completely out of the window. I'm all for students learning, however this not a situation for student learning clearly given the circumstances. It was clear to me that patient care and needs are not important but more so having a human there for students to practice on. Regardless if they concent or not. Both inexperienced, anxious and making me feel uneasy again. They were directing eachother over me. body... one, two, three separate catheters were opened and used again as each attempt was going into my vagina and getting contaminated with blood. This was the third time I was brought to breaking point and crying again having my vagina stretched apart where fresh stitches have been made. After tears, crying, screaming and nurses almost forgetting to clean the area and or wear proper PPE as simple as gloves I was inserted and i was out. I now can't I paid to be humiliated, embarrassed, assaulted and tortured. This experience has made me feel that I am less than a human, that I don't gave any say in my body and that practitioners will go and use my body as they please. Don't bother sending a email to Macquarie hospitals complaints because they take no responsibility and just say everything was done following the guide lines. No remorse no acknowledgement and quickly try to point blame somewhere else. Absolutely appalling.

Went in for MI (Medical Imaging) at MMI/MQ Health. Fantastic experience. Excellent staff from the general receptionists who guided me to MMI, to the receptionists at MMI specifically. The radiographer who did my imaging was thorough and professional in getting my medical history. Arrived 40 minutes early to my CT scan appointment. I left shortly after my appointment was scheduled to begin. This included getting my referral sorted out, patient history/profile created, etc.

I wanted to let you know just how appreciative I am towards all the staff at MUH. You are all truly amazing people. I am more grateful that I choose MUH as preferred hospital of choice. The amount of support regarding my recent surgery I received was just incredible. When I woke up and was in my room after surgery I had the honour of meeting with you all. Thank you so much for making my stay that little bit extra comfortable. Thank you for the all the laughs and jokes we all shared but most importantly THANK YOU for friendship and SERVICE. Much love from Des. ♥️

I cannot fault the service in this hospital. I was transferred from Liverpool colorectal to Macquarie colorectal and the service was like day and night. The admission staff were so good providing a stress free quick admission process. Those who say the treatment is bad should try a day in Liverpool Hospital and you can see the fantastic levels of care given by Macquarie compared to Liverpool Hospital. I would not go to any other hospital now. Ty Macquarie for caring for me.

I want to share a little story here. So my appointment got cancelled at Trafalgar place in the morning due to flooding (crazy storms the previous night). They tried to call me but I had already left my place and my phone was on silent. Anyways, I got there and I was told that I need to go to the main clinic. Karen (I think it was, she is the Manager), was so nice that she actually dropped me off to the main hospital in her car. She absolutely did not have to do it but she did and that was so nice of her. I thought I should write about it! Thanks again Karen, god knows this world needs more people like you more than ever right now :)

In the Macquarie teaching hospital the wifi is charged at 30$ per visit. That is an exorbitant charge! Australians put up with situations such as this far too easily. If I were a tradie of some sort I would intentionally make doctors wait when doing work for them. On dozens of occasions I have waited for more than an hour. Here, without wifi!!

Had endoscopy and colonoscopy today at Macquarie Hospital and it has been such a great experience from arrival to the procedure it really was efficient and everyone was so lovely. Thank you for the receptionist who was so welcoming and the nurse who brought me to the ward, everything was clean neat and tidy pretty sure it has been refurbished everything was new. Anaesthetist (sorry I forgot your name !!)thank you so much for making sure my medical history was up to date and the cannula was done pain free and so quick !! You even came to check on me after the procedure, very much appreciated. Procedure was done by dr Henry Cheung, very nice and patient doctor I felt very confident about my procedure (in safe hands), I’ve already had the consultation with him prior my procedure he will always answer your questions even if he’s not at the consult rooms and you had called in, he’s very reliable. Thank you once again for taking your time to go through everything after the procedure. To all the lovely nurses who was there to take my blood pressure and after care you all was so nice and welcoming nothing seemed too much well done and keep up the great work your efforts are seen x

Very horrible experience with this hospital! I had a major surgery and from the beginning the nurses and doctors showed lack of care. One night when I was sleeping they just came in and gave me a blood test and caught me off guard without even waking me up. The hospital didn’t manage my pain well and gave me unnecessary medication that made me feel even more sick! Will never go back to this hospital again.

I have had several cardio procedures at this hospital in recent weeks (the last being a pacemaker implant) and the staff and my treatment has been 1st Class. Highly recommended. The cardio doctors and all hospital staff are top notch. Assoc.Prof Hari Raju and Dr Prominder Grover are tremendous. Many thanks.

Whilst I recently had the misfortune to require a multi night stay in hospital, I consider myself extremely lucky that it was all handled by Macquarie University Hospital. I had enough time there to fully gauge and appreciate what a fantastic facility they have built and I was able to be operated on by world class surgeons/doctors using leading edge technology like the Da Vinci Robot. The care I received at every level, not just the wonderful nurses (all very good, some simply outstanding) but the porters, surprisingly good meals, a great coffee cart service, and friendly and efficient cleaners made my stay much better than it could otherwise have been. The government should forget using the military brass to get the vaccination programme on track and poach the Cardiac Case Coordinator, Morgan, who must be one of the most capable and driven people you will find in any business. Can’t thank you all enough!

After coming from Calvary Hospital in Canberra to Macquarie University. What a massive difference. Both hospital had fantastic staff. Macquarie food was awesome, had taste, no soggy vegetable like Calvary. In fact the food At Macquarie hospital is as good as a restaurant. And you can see staff put in the effort. The ward was very clean..only hospital I will book into if needed again My Dr Boesel and his Anethesitic bloke and nurses were very friendly. This is worth the drive from Canberra folks !

Wow - Professor Jonathan Williamson thank you and your wonderful team for the amazing care you took of me when I was in hospital having the Olympus valves inserted into my lung - even after just 2 weeks the fact that I can breathe much easier now is obviously going to give me a much better quality of life. You personally went above and beyond coming to see me every day especially when you were on leave. Thank you also to all the nursing staff who took care of me.

Staff is very undertrained especially at reception. I got a good doctor but he couldn't do anything because the hospital is underfunded so I just went to a good hospital

dr sarah minto advised us “there is no better treatment” that we were using now and suggested the surgery. We then had to go to another clinic and GP there prescribed us a better treatment. Sarah Minto should not work as a doctor, she put my wife in a big pain and suggested the worst possible treatment solution.

Excellent Hospital. Great caring staff from admission to discharge. I had an amazing surgeon, very grateful for his care, kindness and professionalism. He had an amazing team by his side. All the nurses and the physiotherapist were caring and friendly making my stay comfortable. Everyone was wonderful and pleasant during my stay.

EXCELLENT! I’ve been in the MUH cardio ward three times before and they are all sooo good. Walked into main reception (Wed 19/07/23) and had lots of fun & laughs with Susan (thank you Susan 😆). Went up to cardio ward reception and was hijacked by nurse Josh before I could even sit down. I was there for about 3 hours for a heart test. Josh led me to my cubicle, prepped me, asked me lots of questions to see if I said the same answers as last time, and responded very well to my weird sense of humour. And he looked after me from thereon. Thanks Josh for a really interesting/entertaining time there (PSSSST I’ve got my bestie to agree to watch Barbie 😁). Thanks also to the other nurses who helped and Dr Luhach. My bestie, Dr Fiona, will give me the results. Courtney from MUH then rang me the next day to check I was OK. I informed her that I was alive 🙄 She was fun too. Excellent or what?

My mum had back surgery. No one attended to her. She had to walk to the other side to get her own cup of tea.

Dr. Kuo and the staff at Macquarie GI/Hospital are the best! I recently had to go in for a procedure, and I was so nervous. But Dr. Kuo and the staff were so reassuring and kind. They explained everything to me in detail, and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Kuo and Macquarie GI/Hospital to anyone looking for a doctor and medical centre that provides the best possible care.

Had to share a room with a snorer. Another room I could hear a TV, everyone is too loud. Could not use bathroom as they are too loud and could wake the snorer. Used the one down the the long corridor walking zig zag as I was so dizzy. Ended up taking out my own cannula so I could leave and get some actual rest at home.

The best hospital and doctors. Professor Di Ieva and professor Boesel, are the best neurosurgeons, and my spinal cord stimulator has fixed my nerve damage, pain and cramp free. I highly recommend these 2 professors

Wow, just wow. This place is professional at its finest. I had surgery under Dr. Mustafa Alttahir for an arm fracture and I've had zero complications. The scar is healing beautifully. The nursing staff was attentive, friendly, understanding, and generally amazing. My personal thanks to nurses María, Denny, Brianna, Rifat, and Mark. So sorry if I forgot to mention anyone. I didn't quite catch the anesthesiologist's name. Anyway, best hospital ever. I live far away from Sydney and just happened to have an accident there. The staff turned what would've been a terrible experience into something almost enjoyable, hehehe.

Easy enough to get to, off the M2. Paid parking. Nice drop off area. Sister had an appointment but had to wait a couple hours before her scheduled surgery.

A huge credit to the nurses and staff on level 4, ward 4. The care that I received this week was exceptional, never had I experienced such kind and genuinely caring nurses where nothing was too much trouble. I would give you 100 stars if I could, thank you for being such amazing nurses and doing your jobs so so well.

Excellent care. Being a registered nurse and being a patient on the neurology ward I found this hospital to be of the very highest standard of any hospital I have either been a patient in or seen in my working life. So immaculate in cleanliness, so very professional and most importantly, the safe and outstanding practices by the neurology surgical team. I owe them ..they gave me my life back. Thankyou does not seem enough

I came here for a COVID vaccine (AZ) a few weeks ago and it went really well. The staff were friendly and personable, the facilities were clean and tidy, and the vaccine was administered really well! I didn't even notice it was done when it was done. Highly recommend coming here if you need the vaccine. Booking is made easy with HotDoc and navigating the university grounds is also very easy. Amazing!

You would think being a private patient has its merits - not at this place. Charged me full price before treatment despite my specialist mentioning a price they could offer as I wasn't going to make private claims. Random contractors at the billing department kept charging weird prices and I was starting to get sleepless nights trying to sort it out, so I moved on to a local public hospital that had the same treatments...for free. My assumption that because this is a private hospital, I would be treated way better, which was not the case at all. If you value your wallet and your sanity, do not come here.

I had an appointment with a vascular surgeon: waiting time 2 hours (not many seats available, most people have problems with veins and legs and cannot stand long), during the scan of my veins I almost fainted but the lady doing the scan just rolled her eyes and told me she was in a hurry and did not have time for my tantrums. The vascular surgeon was also not very helpful as he informed me about my syndrom and just advised to wait for the condition to get worse so that I can have a ''wonderful'' serious surgery. I was shocked and pale, so dr Mohabbat told me to end our appointment and leave as he was running behind the schedule.

My mother had cancer and passed away 2years ago in this hospital, doctors are students or professors in Macquarie university , they aren’t capable to cure , they are researchers or educators or learners!!!!!! Nothing more !!! I know that cancer in some cases can’t be cured but my mother case could be cured if oncology doctors in Sydney were more practical than theoretical because her breast cancer was started with grade 1 and hormon one not genetic cancer but they just biopsy her organs to find where it’s going to

Not enough nurses. Have to ask multiple times for simple things an wait hrs, eg pain meds, assistance for bathroom.. Nurses hand overs terrible. No one knows what's going on. No communication to patients about what’s happening and what to expect. Not enough private rooms. One positive is that the building is fairly nice and modern.
