I was really impressed by my recent stay at St Luke's Hospital. My room was really pleasant and clean and light. The food was also nice! Most impressive however, were the staff. Everyone was just lovely and kind, starting with the lovely lady who took my meal order at reception and everyone I encountered after that from theatre staff to aftercare. The nurses were extremely attentive, really caring and so knowledgable! They were able to give me really good tips to ease my recovery, I didn't have to explain anything about myself/medical history etc, they were across it all. Sometimes you have to explain yourself again after a shift change etc, but not here, they were excellent. I was so impressed, they appeared immediately when any of my buzzers went off, or when I was due my medication, they were fabulous, very professional, but also KIND. I felt genuinely taken care of. I never had to call anyone. It's a really great team they have there.

I just had shoulder surgery with an overnight stay and I was very impressed. The rooms were clean, as was the whole hospital. Staff were friendly and helpful from the concierge when you arrive, to the receptionist at admissions, to the surgical/theatre staff, to the ward nurses etc. I was a public patient but was treated as if I was a king. Nurses go above and beyond to assist and reassure the patients. Thank you for making what could have been a painful and stressful stay, calm and successful.

Recently went to St Lukes for a sleep study for my little one. We had a very pleasant and clean room, the food was decent and it was a generally calm environment. It was the first time my 2yo was at hospital and Jimmy the technician was very patient and friendly with him. Unfortunately the next technician on shift, Steve, was rather unpleasant and gruff with my child. In the morning while my son was still asleep the technician started yanking all the equipment off his body and face and tearing off the well attached adhesives and my little one was clearly in pain And distressed. He rushed us out at 6am remarking “this isn’t a hotel”. Of course it’s not, but give us a minute to wake up and for the mother to comfort her crying toddler who had never been in a hospital before. A more gentle approach to my scared child would’ve been appreciated.

Terrible hospital with poor management. Don’t go to this old building if you need care before and after surgery, particularly if you are NOT local!! I felt discriminated as they didn’t let my friend come with me and didn’t let my husband stay longer with me although my dr asked them and I begged them while I saw a local couple easily entered the hospital! There are so many negative things that I can’t write about all of them here. Just to say that they put me under so much stress and made me nervous that I started crying 30min before the surgery and was thinking of not admitting and cancelling the surgery. After care was also terrible, except a couple of nice nurses, I was treated like a patient that they wanted to discharge and get rid of quickly from the recovery!

After having 3 surgeries last year and having my final procedure done at St. Luke's I can honestly say they are absolutely fantastic; the care provided and nurses here are the kindest and most understanding people I have ever had the pleasure of being cared for by. I am not a local (I travelled 4 hours to be treated here) but I felt so welcomed and comfortable the whole time I was in the building. Especially post surgery in recovery and later in my room, I did not feel neglected or like a nuisance for asking questions like I've felt at other hospitals previously. The hospital is very clean and kept to a very high standard. I felt genuinely cared for. Overall I believe they are outstanding in every aspect. Thank you

Had a lovely experience here compared to other hospitals. Staff are very caring and supportive. Everything very clean but doesnt have that disgusting hospital smell. From the moment i made first contact on the phone to the surgery and overnight stay every person i dealt with was polite and caring.I have never felt so supported in a hospital as i was here.

I had an excellent experience at St. Luke's for back surgery. The staff were fantastic, rooms clean, quiet and comfortable, food was great. Couldn't have been better.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and care provided at St Luke’s. The admissions nurse (Irene I believe) took patient centred approach and empathic service to a whole other level. I’ve never felt more calm and valued as a person upon admission to hospital. The nurses who cared for me pre and post op were just as wonderful, patient and caring. Particularly Mary and Grace. The food, rooms and hospital building in general is very clean and well maintained with very strict and adhered to COVID19 protocols in place without it feeling clinical or cold. Cannot fault or speak highly enough of St Lukes and the team. Will be my hospital of choice if needed moving forward. Thank you for looking after me so well St Lukes.

Apart from a great surgery I think that the highlight for me was the friendly, professional nursing, prep, and post-op staff. I felt as if I were prioritised the entire time.

Terrible bed very narrow n small. Small standard size stay away from this! Couldn’t sleep well. Bad experience almost fell off bed every time I turned my body the whole night. Kept worrying about falling off n moving myself to centre every time I turned to the other side. No any shower curtain in the bathroom.

Amazing hospital, service and staff. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I was looked after and taken care of by each staff member, nurse and doctor. Thank you a million times and more!

This hospital is amazing. I've never experienced exceptional service from all the staff here. They make you feel so comfortable, relaxed and calm. The surgeon, nurses, chefs and other staff members are second to none. I would highly recommend this hospital to all my family and friends. Five stars!

Hospital owes me a significant amount of money after surgery. Requests for money to be returned have been ignored multiple times via email from the hospital accountant Pramod. Pramod has told me to refer to Bupa. Bupa has advised that it is the hospital that owes me money directly. Pramod has ignored this fac even after providing documentation and asking him to refer to Bupa. I have not worked for 12 months. Zero care given to patients aftercare at this private hospital

I had the best stay at St Luke's hospital in Potts Point. It was very rough after the surgery (also my first ever surgery) - but the nurses were so caring. The food ordering lady literally accommodates every of my difficult dietary requirements, making sure I have warm food to eat, diary free, gluten free, low sugar - even the menu wasn't designed specifically for that! Got my own room, non-stop oxygen, check in blood pressure every hour, so peaceful, no one's rushing, the team really worked together to address some of more challenging situation. They let me stay for an extra night too ... I am so grateful. Thank you St Luke's Care team so much 🥰🙏❤️
