It's
actually
a
great
little
gym.
They
don't
market
all
the
equipment
they
have
in
the
weights
room
too
well.
I
was
surprised
when
i
came
to
visit.
For
anyone
interested:
There
are
squat
racks,
benches
(inc/dec/fl),
approximately
5
olympic
bars
with
plenty
of
weight
plates.
3
smith
machines.
Dumbells
upto
60kg
(i
think),
cable
machines
with
a
huge
variety
of
attachments,
mobile
benches
of
all
shapes
and
sizes.
All
of
the
usual
machines
including
some
real
niche
machines
like
pullovers,
weighted
crunches
and
a
glute
kickback
machine.
The
gym
could
do
with
a
dedicated
deadlift
space
or
olympic
lifting
platforms.
There's
heaps
of
stuff
ive
missed
so
please
do
take
a
visit.
The
down
side
is
that
some
of
the
equipment
is
a
little
dated.
Most
of
the
machines
are
pin
loaded
and
quite
easy
to
max
out.
And
some
of
them
have
that
funky
90s
feel.
The
gym
lacks
a
few
mod-cons
that
other
Sydney
gyms
offer.
But
the
prices
are
super
competitive
so
i
dont
really
mind.
I
would
not
recommend
this
gym
if
you
are
a
competitive
powerlifter
or
weight
lifter.
(I
do
not
think
this
is
really
their
demographic
anyway)
I
would
recommend
this
gym
if
you
are
serious
about
getting
fitter
and
stronger
and
are
sick
of
overpriced,
wanky,
lock-in
contracts
at
the
other
local
gyms.
Where
you
fight
some
roided
up
Gremlin
for
five
minutes
to
get
a
bench.
People
at
Newtown
gym,
including
staff
are
all
pretty
chilled.
