    The only gym that I sincerely recommend. I initially joined UBX to learn about boxing. I soon realised that the 45 min. training done there was very efficient. I soon felt stronger upper and lower body. Often we go to the gym, we spend so much time doing exercise wrong and no one is around to correct us. At UBX is different, there are always coaches that make you work hard and correct you if needed. Besides all of the above the atmosphere is friendly and not 'showy'. Well done guys.

    Joining UBX Newtown was the best decision I’ve ever made. The team are so encouraging and supportive, and foster a really great environment. The workouts are challenging but also fun, and I’ve seen results already within a few weeks. I’m hooked!

    Been going for a lil over 3 months. It has been exactly what I wanted. I needed cardio that wasn't just endless running and push-ups. Having a skill to hone while working out makes it much more fun and easier to focus more on skill and less on exhausion. The trainers are really personable. They have multiple people coming in and out everyday. And without writing anything down, seem to remember where everyone is at with their skill, strength and cardio. And help train them according to what each person needs/wants.

    Awesome gym. Super friendly, professional trainers who actually care about their clients. The workout/exercises are fun and varied, and will leave you feeling utterly smashed - in a good way! It’s a circuit style workout that includes Boxing combinations, strength, kettlebells, battle ropes etc but you can arrive anytime and start at your own pace. It’s a vibe!

    So happy I booked a trial at UBX. Been going for about 2 months now and love it. Trainers are all encouraging and helpful and not having set start times makes it easy to slot into your day. Would highly recommend.

    HIGH INTENSITY, HIGH ENERGY, HIGH CLASS I travel around a lot for work so have tried quite a few gyms and these guys have one of the best!! The coaches are so friendly and helpful but don’t be fooled will also push you to get the best out of you. Having a class atmosphere but flexibility to train when you can, knowing you’ll be there for 45mins and get a killer workout in was so great. Every time I walked in the music was always pumping and energy high. Highly recommend if you enjoy a mixture of cardio and strength circuit training

    This is the BEST place to get fit and get your boxing practice done! It’s like a 2-in-1 workout within just an hour! (and a 2-in-1 gym membership too – cya anytime) The coaches are so friendly and know their stuff to really get you going at whichever stage you’re at. Already pushed myself to hit the top in my first month there and signing up to the bootcamp

    Joined just over 2 months ago, first place I've been that has kept me motivated and interested to keep going. Flexible times to suit your schedule, and get a good work out in just 45 mins. Great place and atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, good at keeping momentum up through your work out, and ensure continued improvement in technique.

    UBX is an amazing boxing gym with high quality equipment and a great environment. All the coaches are all patient, informative and supportive of each of the members of the gym. I always have a great workout and learn so much each time I visit. Highly recommend!

    If your reading this, don’t hesitate just come in and go for a trial. If you have no experience in any background of fitness or sport, it is also okay. The coaches here are amazing, every session you attend, they do one on one pad work. UBX newtown is an outstanding gym! All the coaches! Doing an amazing job!!!

    UBX Newtown is one of the best gyms I’ve been part of. I found it really hard to be motivated at the gym and since joining, I’ve been going consistently and really enjoying it! The workouts are always different and the trainers are amazing/super friendly. It feels like having a personal trainer. Learning how to box has been a great challenge and I look forward to my workouts. Highly recommend

    UBX is a fantastic gym experience. I really like the flexibility of being able to jump in and start a workout at any time, and that the workout is different every day. The workouts are challenging and dynamic, and I’ve noticed my physical fitness and stamina improve since I started earlier this year. I really like the boxing element, and getting one-on-one pad time with a trainer is really motivating. Can definitely recommend UBX!

    Really enjoy training here. Trainers are all really welcoming and knowledgeable, I never have to book in either so very convenient. I had never done any boxing before but on day 1 I was taught how to move and all the different exercises and found it very fun and challenging. Has good facilities for getting changed/showered and always very clean. Would thoroughly recommend to give it a go!

    For someone like me who has not exercised in 2 years and is starting from scratch in the fitness area, UBX Newtown has been amazing. Whilst I'm still learning the techniques the team have embraced me, made me feel comfortable, are patient and encouraging. Everyone is friendly and feels like a family / community environment. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me

    Always wanted to try this gem out and it did not disappoint! As soon as you walk in, you feel the energy, and the need to smash a workout. The staff were very welcoming and clear in explaining the workouts. The trainers were very attentive to the different levels of fitness and technique, providing the right amount of motivation and push to ensure everyone got a good workout. Very impressed! The gym has a good flow and layout for the workouts. Its clean and tidy and doesn't smell! 12RND Newtown is the real deal, a breath of fresh air. A community based gym that aims to empower everyone around them. Definitely worth checking out!

    This place is the absolute best!! I am someone who doesn’t really know what to do when going to the gym and finds it hard to get motivated. UBX takes away having to think or plan your workouts, offering different exercises everyday. There’s also an amazing supportive team there to help you along the way. I love that there’s no timetables so can just rock up and exercise at anytime. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The gym has quality equipment and not having set classes makes it easy to make the time to attend. They take the time to help out novices such as myself.     Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming, members are really friendly and the workouts are always engaging as they are different every day. A genuinely inclusive and supportive environment to train suitable for all levels of fitness with the added bonus of learning new skills as you work towards your goals. Strongly recommend!

    So glad I found UBX Newtown! I look forward to my workouts and even feel OK about getting out of bed early! - I just get there and get straight into it. The time flies by and before I know it, I’m done. - There’s always a different full body workout waiting for me with TVs to show exactly how to do each exercise so I know I’m doing it right. - The instructors are among the friendliest and most helpful in the biz. They always step in and help or give you that extra bit of motivation.

    Such an awesome and welcoming environment to train in! The coaches here are passionate and amazing at what they do. I have learned so much about boxing and movement through them ❤️ They also take their time to teach everyone individually, so progress is made quite quickly! The workouts are challenging but always fun and accessible to all fitness levels. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rad community and amazing workout.

    I’ve been trying to find some sort of cool boxing gym that has mix kind of exercises and 12 Round Newtown was definitely the one. They been helping me to achieve weight loss goal, basic boxing techniques obviously with support of nice tools, team member and staffs that actually motivated everyone to achieve the goals. Will definitely keep going and enjoy my journey keeping up training with them. Hope will fight In the real boxing gym.

    I absolutely love it at UBX Newtown! The trainers, equipment and workout space are fantastic! I was a little nervous to try boxing because I had literally zero experience but the trainers are super patient, helpful and work closely with you to make sure your form and technique is correct. The workout themselves are also great. The mix between strength, cardio and boxing is perfect. I also love that each workout is different. Could not recommend UBX Newtown highly enough! ☺️

    Highly recommend this gym to help you get back into fitness. I’ve been going to this place for the last couple of months and have not been disappointed, you always walk out feeling great about yourself!! You get different flexible workouts each session so you never get bored and you can drop in at anytime that suits you. The trainers are always there to help perfect your technique and help provide 1:1 teaching each session specifically tailored to your level and skills. Super motivating as well and they help keep you accountable 💪🏼 Could not ask for a better gym and team!!

    I started coming to this gym a couple of months ago and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Its a really lovely intimate space with a very inclusive feel. As a woman, sometimes gyms I've been to in the past felt quite intimidating, but this environment feels really safe and comfortable. All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure that you're training to the best of your ability and that you feel really well supported. On top of that they're really friendly and always make me laugh. This gym is great if you want to do boxing, whether that be to properly learn the techniques or just for fitness. There are also other components such as weight training and they have classes such as yoga. It's a great way to do circuit training, without needing to book in, with one on one support from experienced trainers and its much cheaper than F45 and in my opinion much better. Definitely go and join this gym you won't regret it.

    I've never been a fan of stagnant gyms/routines and my physical activity has definitely suffered because of it. The team at UBX Newtown are SO fun and so welcoming. The circuit changes daily, which is great. I never know what to expect from the work out, but it's always challenging in the best ways. The additional Saturday footwork and skills class is great too - it teaches me things that the one on one trainers perfect during the week. In just six weeks, I've noticed a huge difference in my balance and overall fitness. Most importantly, it feels super safe and fun. Love love love.
