Started at AMA with my daughter a couple of years ago. She is now 5 and we have both gained a great deal from going. I am significantly more flexible than I was 2 years ago and she has developed her confidence and discipline. We both love going together and they have a number of excellent instructors with a range of styles. Much like anything you get out what you put in, but if you are keen and committed and find the right instructor, you will thrive.

Me and my boys love this place. I love professionalism, great communication and the principals which they share. I like my workouts too. My boys enjoy classes, fun and great teachers. I appreciate family classes where we can be all together and share our time. We are here one month, but they learned a lot of ready. Well done and thank you.

I am new to martial arts and it is always daunting to start at a new place. However, AMA was so welcoming and professional. The trainers were attentive, provided guidance and were so encouraging. The adult class made me feel empowered. I cannot wait to continue my training here to become fitter and stronger! Thank you so much AMA - keep up the great work!

Hi all parents, please let me know if it's fair? I've paid 30 weeks' worth of classes ($660) from January until the end of April. I asked if I could pause the payment so my boy could attend all the makeup classes. When we use up all the makeup classes, will we continue paying? The staff said no and gave me two options: 1/I have to continue paying to use the paid make-up classes. 2/she will cancel my payment, and I have one month to do all 30 makeup classes. Which kids can do 30 classes in a month with school and other activities?! Does that sound fair to you, parents? You have to pay to use what you have paid already, or they will cancel your membership/payment, but then you will technically lose your paid classes because you can't keep up with that many classes in a month?!

This is such an amazing place. The teachers are great! My son loves to attend his classes and is learning so much.

Both my boys 3 & 5 years old attend AMA academy. It is the only activity they are both so excited to go to. The structure for the young kids is great and the teachers are really good with the kids.

My Daughter loves this and so do I. I enrolled my 3 year old a few months ago. The teachers are amazing with the youngsters (she loves them)... her confidence has boosted and she's so happy to put on her little dragon uniform each weekend! I did wonder if she was too young at first, but there hasn't been a day she has not wanted to go. I even borrowed a few of the sayings they use in class for home and wow... big focus on respect and family here. Kudos team!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my daughter's birthday! The staff went above and beyond to make the day absolutely perfect. Their incredible preparation, engaging activities, unwavering support, and endless patience in accommodating all my requests truly made the event unforgettable. Five stars all the way!

Australian Martial Arts Academy has been running a martial arts program at our school every Friday at lunchtime for over 3 years. The students have so much fun learning and have shown great progress in their skills.

Wonderful teachers, always happy and firm with the kids. I did a few lessons before I was too ill and everyone is amazing. The people attending classes are open, social, pleasant, and the teachers are fun, funny, and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking and food options while you wait. There is a second hand uniform email on the wall so if you need, get uniforms there before signing up. It gets cheaper per family member which helps and they have family classes you can do with your kids. Plenty of different times to suit your routine. Overall, if you can afford it, it is a great place for you and your children.

My two grandkids age 2 and 4 years old take up weekly classes here learning Taekwando.They are having such great fun with other kids in their age range.The staff and instructors are friendly,helpful and well experienced individuals.Parking are ample and the places easy to find using Waze.Highly recommended.

Fabulous team and activity. Great to start at any age. Good for fitness, confidence and mindfulness too. My daughter absolutely loves it.

Love AMA as its been more than 3yrs my 3 girls r in the academy n entire staff is so supportive in all way to make sure students achieve their goals as well as patents too. Now my girls will be doing in Dec black belt grading. So happy for them😍Love to be the part of AMA n can't stop recommending to family n friends n in the community. It’s a fantastic and fun way to exercise giving you more confidence in self-defence regardless of age/physical fitness. All instructors are friendly, caring and experts in that field. I totally recommend it to everyone.

AMA has been such a great activity for my family. The instructors are so great with the kids and make every lesson fun and definitely something we look forward to each week. The team bring so much energy and really encourage us to push ourselves a little bit further each week. It really is such a community unto itself and everyone has been so welcoming and supportive. AMA is such a great activity for developing confidence, focus, discipline, strength and fitness. We couldn’t recommend it more!! Undoubtedly 5 stars. Both my kids have grown up with AMA and one of the best decisions we made in their education program. Great selection of instructors lead by Master Hakan Manav and Grand Master Rıdvan Manav. At AMA they don't just train physically but also mentally. Regular lectures on motivation and self development, are the proof that it is not just a taekwando Centre but a self development academy. Thank you to every single instructor for your efforts. AMA is AMA-zing! My husband, two teenage kids and I have been training here for almost four years, and it has been the perfect way for us to stay fit, spend time together as a family and make new friends. The classes are fun, interactive, innovative and challenging, and the instructors are always supportive and encouraging. AMA is all about helping you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals while having fun in the process, and the supportive and inclusive community at AMA will cheer you on every step of the way. As a middle aged student, trust me when I say that you’re never too old or too unfit to start your taekwondo journey. I cannot recommend AMA highly enough!

The staff (and the entire cohort) are unfailingly supportive and friendly. They're great, whether they're handling a young kid who is struggling with focus, helping a new student learning to kick for the first time, or working with an experienced practitioner who just needs a few tweaks to improve their performance.
