A really romantic place to hang around or to have dinner. During daylight, the view is amazingly beautiful, but it's even more spectacular at night! They also have a park nearby, it is a great destination to simply have a picnic or to bring your kids and dogs to run around.

The most adorable place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends. I would recommend you to bring your family here. The food very delicious and well served, clean, and chic. I really like the food. And the view is special. An interesting shopping centre in the middle of the city

Our stay was fantastic! The room- Jewel suite was absolutely stunning. The facilities were great, with hot water and plenty of amenities. The housekeeping was excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Kevin went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. TK at the spa gave me one of the most amazing treatments. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from. The only issue we ran into was the incessant dog barking- which was quickly remedied by moving to a higher floor. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property. It is definitely in my top five favorite hotels I have ever stayed in!

An impromptu visit meant we just enjoyed what was available. Could not find a place to sit down and eat so settled for take-out and eating from a park bench which was fine. But loved the walkabout in a beautiful setting. Not overly busy (other than the couple of restaurants that were open and understaffed and over capacity)....so enjoyed strolling around. Most places closed so missing some of the buzz, but a pleasant evening out.

Stunning place and a must see in Sydney. With a little bit luck you’ll see the bride opens and close. The attraction there just amazing and there are a lot of restaurants around. For kids, couples and just fast food -everything is there. Even a German Restaurant with German beer. At the evening is almost everyday something happening there. Also checkout online for the next fireworks! There is also a beautiful path to The Rocks -outstanding. The path will bring you to Circular Quay and the opera house.

If you’ve not been to Sydney before. You’ve got to experience the atmosphere of Darling Harbour both day and night. Darling Harbour is home to a wide variety of cafes, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. It’s also home to the Sydney Aquarium where Angelina and Brad Pit spent time with their kids. Walk the wharf and admire the variety of boats and super yachts. Want to enjoy the Harbour water views and would like to sail underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge? No problem. Catch a water taxi, ride a ferry or jump on a chartered boat with a group of friends. Want to experience the Harbour via adrenaline? Enjoy a speed boat ride but watch yourself. You might get wet. Darling Harbour. A must see destination of Sydney.

Celebrated my last night of a three week stay in Sydney, Australia on this lovely harbor of vast entertainment. A variety of restaurants, pubs, hotels and scenic party boats to take you in and out of the harbor. Stopped into a sports bar & grill near the docked riverboats for drinks with the family. Just taking in all the beautiful sites and people were enough to wet the palate. A must see in downtown Sydney.

A wonderful place to hang around and also during night time. After visiting the Opera house area, come to Darling Harbour to see some magnificent night views or hang around the shops and restaurants. I went walking to the Fish Market afterwards.

So many places to see and do here that are close by. The bridge across the bay is a great place for photos. The SeaLife Aquarium was well worth it. At night its a lite up and nice place to relax. Full of nice restaurants and cafes on the top level. A short walk away from the Harbour is a play area for kids and the Chinese Garden of Friendship was a beautiful place to see.

It is a beautiful promenade, full of bars and restaurants in front of the port. In addition, on Saturdays at 21:00, they launch fireworks and if you want you can enjoy the show from the Ferris wheel. It is difficult to get a table in the premises, but you can make a reservation, or just go for a walk.

When you plan to enjoy with friends and family Darling harbor is the place to be. It has spectacular view both of the city and the water. It has all kids of restaurants( A few halal as well, I loved the beef steak at Rashays), rides situated in a U shaped fashion around the water with a bridge that takes you to the city. Late night live singing and dancing creates a lovely atmosphere… so when in Sydney be sure to visit the darling harbor…Loved it.

Came here for the Winter Festival and was in awe of this place’s beauty. The entire precinct is bursting with life, even on a cold rainy day many were enjoying themselves. Dancing to the tunes of music being played, enjoying different varieties of food … capped off by a mesmerizing fireworks display was a truly beautiful experience. I come here regularly even when there is no event and it always makes me happy each time. Many seating areas and restaurants to choose from with exquisite scenery by the water - truly a must-visit place in Sydney!

Quintessential Sydney Spot! Must visit for the harbour experience, lots of stylish venues, live music, waterfront vibes! Can come over for a quick meal and walk around the waterfront. There are restaurants, clubs, shopping locations, bars, ice cream and other dessert joints. Fireworks on Saturday nights!

Nice place for a stroll by the water, filled with mediocre Mediterranean restaurants. Usually full of tourists and drunk partygoers throughout the week. Decorations could be much better, though. Hopefully new shopping mall and hotel will spruce the place up soon.

We were here for the winter spectacular. It was a great night. There was an ice skating rink for the kids. And at the end of the night there was an awesome fire-works display. It was great. It is a great place to take the kids and other members of the family.

Really pretty and lots of shops and things to see! They are currently doing vivid (light festival? Very beautiful) throughout the area and I would highly recommend. It can get very crowded though and much like the rest of Sydney is quite pricey but certainly worth a visit 🙂

Best place to spend time. Great choices of restaurants. Evening walk along the harbour is so refreshing. Hoping IMAX theatre will be opened soon. The play area for kids is really good. Kids will enjoy and have fun for sure. Sometimes (especially in the weekends) it gets too crowded plan ahead.

Beautiful location to visit. I recommend visiting at night. They must purposely have the buildings keep the lights on as it’s magical. Take the very cheap public ferry to or from here. They do have fireworks at 8:30 every Saturday. Don’t miss that if you’re in the area.

Went to Vivid, Sydney was buzzing with people and lights. Darling Harbour had a wonderful light and water display. It was extremely crowded, if you have sensory issues, would recommend going through the week nights if you wanted to see it or take children with you for them to see. Darling Harbour itself is easy to get to and to walk around.

I have visited Darling Harbour quite a few times. This time, i visited sydney during 'Vivid Sydney'. It looks amazing, dazzling in lights with many sound effects and a fantastic fountain show. Must visit if you are visiting Sydney on a trip. If possible, Vivid is the best time to do so. There are so many nice restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. The water front looks amazing throughout the day or night.

Darling Harbour is an absolute gem in the heart of Sydney, and a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Its vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by stunning views of the city skyline, creates an unforgettable experience. Whether you're strolling along the promenade, exploring the numerous attractions like SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and the Australian National Maritime Museum, or dining at the diverse range of restaurants, Darling Harbour has something for everyone. The fireworks displays on weekends light up the night sky and add to the magic of this place. It's a perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and natural beauty, making it an iconic part of Sydney that captures the city's essence.

I visited this place because I heard the night view was great, but it wasn't so impressive because there were many other great places in Sydney. You can see a lot of young people in restaurants and bars around the coast. It is nice to leisurely walk along the beach, and there are lots of chairs so it is nice to sit if walking was difficult.

Besides Circular Quay and the Rocks, Darling Harbour is also the place for nighttime activity, dining, and entertainment. It's quite easy to access from Town Hall station, and there are many shopping centres, restaurants, hotels around this area. Spend a couple of hours here to relax as well as the great nighttime view here.

I rode my disability Scooter through Darling Harbour, to a restaurant offering takeaway at Prymount Point. There is nothing open as of 7th October, not even takeaway. Also of note, HMAS Onslo and HMAS Advance are missing, from the Marentine Museum - along with others, so if you want to see the full fleet, Only HMAS Vampire and the Endeavour re-creation, were visible. It's a shame that takeaway NOT available anywhere in Darling Harbour and even Macca's and all others, closed at Circular Quay. Get vaccinated! Roll on (safe) freedoms. (I'm permitted to have masked outing days, within 5kms, due to medical reasons)

The place has a positive vibe. Many restaurants are great. If you don’t mind walking for a long time to explore restaurants and retail shops, perfect place for you. I couldn’t go around a lot as my dad was getting tired. And one more thing. A drunkard jumped into the water and was about to drown. I had to save him. 🙄

Early morning reflections of Darling Harbour❣️What a wonderful harbour precinct playground for locals and tourists. Beautifully kept gardens, interesting architecture and so many other attractions like the Maritime Museum, The National Convention Centre and Aquarium. I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning walks there for several days during a recent trip to Sydney. It seems a runner’s and walker’s paradise in the early morning and there is a popular quiet meditation/Tai Chi area not far from the Chinese Friendship Garden. There are outdoor table tennis tables for TT enthusiasts. There are many, many cafes and restaurants to choose from and some great little coffee shops. Just love Sydney and all it has to offer. k🎡🚢⚓️🚤🛴🚲🎭🍹🍸🌳

Wow! What can I say? This rivals Southbank in Melbourne. All it needs is the fire breathing statues from the restaurants on the board walk in Darling Harbour to the Crown Towers. The same one's they have in Southbank. What a marketing tool. I'm surprised no one in Sydney has done this yet. Overall, this area is 10 stars.

Over the years I have had countless memorable moments at Darling Harbour. Not only is the place a desired destination for a weekend day out, I also frequented the place during my lunchtime pre-COVID. Talking about which, it is nice to see the place buzzing with life again in recent times. There is just so much to offer around the harbour ranging from entertainment, fine dining and business ventures. Not to mention the opportunity to have a close-up with the fireworks during celebrations. A must visit in Sydney imo.

Beautiful area with a great vibe. Fireworks went off while we ate at one of the many restaurants that line the harbour. It's a quick walk from the light rail line which gives you access to many other amenities including other restaurants, shops and even a grocery store. Highly recommended when in the area. Not sure if fireworks are every night, but we same them and it was really spectacular.

First of all don't miss the sunset from the Carousel. Now let's talk about the attractions.... you will get lots of options like aquarium, museum and others but please book it in advance and check the timings also, I found it easy if you can avoid weekends . Other than that lots of area for chilling out, taking snaps in the bridge. Also you can get some peaceful places where you can be alone or spend some quality time with your partner.

Several attractions ( Maritime museum, aquarium etc) and shops to visit. I just enjoyed walking around and grabbing a coffee in the morning. Easy to walk to from the city area with safe pedestrian accesses.

Beautiful place to walk around. Lots of places to eat and sights to enjoy. Keep an eye out for special events like vivid. Darling harbour is a short walk from China Town. This is my favourite for food in the area and the atmosphere at night is lovely. There is limited shopping nearby but you can walk to the city or bus to Broadway for a few more options. Very scenic and a nice place to visit on a sunny day or a dry evening.

Darling harbour is a great place to visit, its beautiful during the day and night! I went last during 'Vivid Sydney'. It looked amazing , it had so many lights with many sound effects and a fountain show. Must visit!! It can be packed but it's well worth it. Kids will have the best time!!

This place is probably close to one of the best playgrounds in Australia. It's a nice area to go for a stroll by the water. If you have kids, you can walk them to Tumbalong Park Playground. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to go at night. You can take river taxi here so it's pretty cool.

Absolutely in love with this place. Surrounded by great hotels, restaurants, parks and walkways - one cannot ask more. Be it the day or night time - one can find interesting things to do. It's near to madam Toussads, Sea life aquarium, close to train station etc. Take a stroll, grab a bite at lovely restaurants, enjoy the night life - with teenagers dancing to beats or just sit near the waterways to feel the tranquil air. Fun and safe place to bring family.

What a fun place to walk around and get a real feel for downtown Sydney. We got lucky and we're visiting when Vivid was happening so that was an unexpected treat!! From breakfast to late night I was impressed with how many restaurants were open. With all the variety, any craving could be satisfied. It was also relaxing to be able to watch the boats go by and see the ferry dock in/out. Would recommend for any meal and night life if you're passing through the area!

A spectacular sight. You can view the firework here. The path leading to the harbour is really nice. You will walk through a park with places for taking pictures, featuring with ice-cream and light meal shops.

Came here by a ferry. The view was great but a bit windy since it’s winter. You can take a walk around this area and enjoy the view.

We toured the Harbour via a 2 hour lunch time cruise, up on the open-air top deck. Highly recommended. It was a great family friendly way to see the spectacular shoreline of Sydney Harbour. The guide pointed out a 140 million dollar mansion, plus several other spectacular residences, gave a history of several government structures and the view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge was second to none.

A beautiful tourist Mecca, and great place to visit and walk around with some interesting attractions, including the aquarium, Martine museum ,art sculpture and great views of the harbour, There is a lot of work going on around the place across the harbour ,specially on Barangaroo peninsula, but hopefully it will add to the beauty and interest of the place. We went there on a weekend many restaurants and cafes around the place cater to the thousands of visitors, and the place was packed on the Sunday. On the Monday morning we revisited and enjoyed a leisurely stroll out to the peninsula.

Close to CBD. Easier to access by public transportation here. It was hard and expensive to park around here. More tourists before COVID. There are a lot of restaurants and Cafe around. Some attractions there. I prefer walking in the evenings because not much shelter. Beautiful view. Have free 7-minute fireworks at 9 pm weekend.

Place to visit if you are in Sydney, always buzzing with some activity. Children can have fun time playing in sand and water. You can visit China Garden, watch a movie at the IMAX, or enjoy food at some of the good restaurants. Close to China Town and Paddy's markets.

If you are at harbour side you can see all of these sightseeing areas. I was travelling alone n it’s hard to find someone trustworthy n someone ready to click ur pix happily. Keep walking at circular quay you will see Luna Park on the way and on opposite side of the harbour you will see opera house.

Stayed at the recently opened W Sydney Hotel. The building was beautiful inside as it was on the outside. I highly recommend spending the weekend in this gorgeous hotel.

There have been some great improvements since my last visit to Sydney. The Chinese friendship garden is beautiful as always. What I really liked is the additional family space. With the water park, and pools along with food outlets and integrated green space. The water is always beautiful. Great relaxing place to be. It is worth a visit. So much to do.
