The best time to visit Sydney Tower Eye is on a sunny day. Make sure you check the weather on the day you plan to book your visit. Walk-ins are also accepted. I went in the middle of February at 11:00 noon and the place isn't crowded at all. You'll get to see Sydney's booming skyscrapers in all it's splendour. It's a pity though that the view of the Sydney Opera House has been 75% blocked by tall buildings. Allot 30 minutes to one hour to spend to appreciate the view of Sydney and have ample time to snap some photos.

I really enjoyed the views here. I have gone now to every tower 🗼 in the world. I have accomplished it was my dream. It is the tallest building in Sydney. I was not able to go on the sky deck as they only allow 2 people at a minimum I was told. Next time I will need to go with a friend. I would highly recommend this place!!

We made a reservation in the morning and were lucky to go on a sunny day in November. Nice views of the city although the opera house angle from the tower is not the greatest. Experience was amazing! obviously stunning views, pristine weather and just a good all round vibe. Alison the tour guide was phenomenal, great with the facts of the city and surrounding areas, and had a really easy going nature, and made it really easy for myself and one of my friends to deal with our fear of heights.

Brilliant view from observation deck. Can stay as long as you like up there. The skywalk experience was amazing. Hanj and Victor our guides were fun, informative and made it really enjoyable. The views were spectacular and it wasn’t scary at all. Highly recommend.

We visited here with family in April 2018. It is the second tallest observation tower in southern hemisphere. The price of ticket is not very costly (compared to Taipei 101 in my country). You can see gorgeous night view here! It was really awesome! 👍👏

My experience at the Sydney Skywalk with Shraddha and Mulan was absolutely amazing! The breathtaking views of the Sydney skyline from high above were nothing short of spectacular. The thrill of walking on the glass-bottomed platform was an unforgettable adventure. Shraddha and Mulan made the experience even more enjoyable with their knowledge and friendly demeanor. I highly recommend this exhilarating journey to anyone visiting Sydney!

Pretty cool view of the city! Little cafe up the top of you need a quick snack or a souvenir. The lifts up and down are speedy but there can be a line up as they only hold a smaller number of people. The Free binoculars provided are a bit of fun too. They’re fixed in place but the different height are a nice touch.

$40 Ticket for 1 attraction and if U combined with sea Life or madam Tussades it will $57 For 2 attractions... Recommended to go 1 honour before sunset and stay till evening so that You can enjoy day and night both views. Both views have their own feelings..... Top of that if You want open air sky walk at Sydney Eye Tower it's an other $51 for 1 hour guided tour....

Completed in 1981, the Sydney Tower Eye is the tallest building in the city with a height of 305 meters. The building offers an incredible panoramic view over Sydney on its top, at the Observation Deck which is 260 meters above the ground level. If you want to get vertigo, you can try the Skywalk, an outdoor glass-floored platform, Composing the Sydney skyline, the building has been built to withstand earthquakes thanks to a water tank located on the top, and acting as a stabilizer.

Had a great time and ate as much as could. Great service and decent food but you don't pay for the food you pay for the view. Before I came the reviews stated that it had food that wasn't worth $90 dollars but that's not what is important it's the view and experience. Don't get me wrong though there is a qide variety of food and its very fresh and tastes great.

I took the kids on a Sunday late afternoon. We went up with two other small families and it was perfect because it wasn't crowded at the top. The kids loved it and it was a special experience. It's perfect for a romantic outing. Watching the sunset and different parts of Sydney like a bird.

One of the beautiful attraction point of Sydney. It is the highest point and you can enjoy the 360 degree top view of Sydney city and the sea. There is a observation desk at the top and you can enjoy the panoramic view. You can also enjoy the open walk on top of Sydney Eye with extra $30 - $40 bucks(check website). Must visit when you are in Sydney.

This place always amazes me. Every time I visit here I am thrilled. The Observation deck allows 360 deg views of Sydney. You can even watch a building burn down in the CBD(See photo)! But it is pretty ordinary in furnishings. There are not too many places to sit. You can get light refreshments but they are very light. However, Bar83 is a totally different story. Sit and enjoy cocktails, spirits and wines with superb finger food. The best part is that it is not expensive to have a great drink 1067 ft up as the sun sets over the city. Best experience!

A great experience for sure. The view is amazing and it's a whole different perspective from up there which makes it even better. We got the pass for multiple attractions so the price was quite good considering the experience. The staff was great and there was not much waiting time. We went during the day so the photos of the people came out overexposed so remember to use your flash to balance out the lighting if you're after nice photos 🙌

It was a bit difficult to find our way to the tower on a Sunday when almost nothing in the shopping center wasn’t working. The viewing deck was kind of dirty. We visited in the last slot of the schedule and enjoyed the sunset and lights of the city. Great way to recap on all that we saw on the ground during the day.

Experience: As you can see in my photos, I was able to capture different moments of the Sydney Tower Eye. I was able to witness the beautiful overlooking view of Sydney during the day, sunset, and night. I would say I was really enamored by the beauty of Sydney for it is a mixture of a highly urbanized city and unpolluted seas. This unique combination gave me the chills when I viewed it at the top. Aside from that, observing the sunset from this place was such a unique experience. It was just amazing to see the phase where the city suddenly becomes alive at night. I can definitely vouch that the view up top is very very beautiful. Perhaps, the major downside for me of this place is that it is too crowded. Of course it makes sense that it will be crowded since it is at the heart of the city, and a place that most tourists will come to visit. It’s just a personal thing but I prefer to visit places that have less people (you can refer to my other reviews for reference). If you are fine with crowds, then, you will absolutely love this place. Planning your trip: For me, best time to visit this place is when it is around sunset. You can witness how Sydney changes from day to night and it is a wonderful experience. The night view is such a spectacular scene. Aside from that, if in any case you get bored of the place, you have tons of options to visit after. Unlike scenic spots in rural areas where they are the only good place in the area, after enjoying yourself with the view of Sydney Tower Eye, you got tons of places to visit after.

If you are in Sydney and want t o know how big it is; then, Sydney eye tower is the place for you. With its soaring height it offers the panoramic view of entire city and its laid back suburbs. The high buildings are not high enough from this historical place. I loved my time here and recommend for others as well.

Sydney Tower Eye provides a great view of the city and you can even learn some history some 300 metres above the ground. However, it’s annoying that you have to watch the 3D “movie” every time you go there. Like, why do we have to watch it?

We bought tickets in person using our Dine and Discover vouchers, so our family of 2 adults + 1 student + 1 child cost only $34. This is a good place to use the Discover vouchers! You should buy them online to save more money, though. The view was fantastic, as the windows were huge and spanned all 360° of the observation deck. The windows were clear and clean, so by pressing my phone up to the glass I was able to take some amazing cityscape pictures! Another great thing about the observation deck were all the telescopes they had spread out along the windows - all free to use! I've been to too many attractions which made you pay another $2 to use the telescope, so this was a nice surprise. Overall, we managed to stay up there for around 45 minutes before we decided to go down. It was really fascinating seeing Sydney CBD from a whole new perspective, so money well spent!

Fun day exploring the LEGO exhibit and the Sydney Tower Eye. The LEGO exhibit is a temporary exhibit, but definitely something to check out if you are a LEGO enthusiast. Many different builds as well as a scavenger hunt competition that keeps the kiddos engaged and could potentially win you LEGO prizes. We had a blast hunting for the firefighter LEGOs. The 3D LEGO movie was a bonus! The trip up the tower was excellent, however we were there when it was not busy (during the week). The view is spectacular.

A review from memory back in December 2016. Such an iconic landmark! The panoramic 360° view from the very top was exhilarating! Just incredible to be there and experiencing it first hand! The Observation Deck was teeming with tourists and maybe locals too alike! We love the gift shops with its numerous kinds of souvenir items! We would love to come back once our two kids are big enough to appreciate it!!

Probably something touristy everyone should do once in their life. They also offer a discount to university students so be sure to bring your student card (24$). Prior to entering, they show you a 3D video (probably 4 minutes long) and then you are able to take the lift upstairs.

Every tourist in Sydney must visit Sydney Tower Eye. It's a great way of viewing Sydney from another angle. Makes you appreciate how beautiful the city is. One downside though is how they included photos as part of the ticket price bit when you get there, it is all automated and you have no idea if the camera worked. There's also no crowd control. People from previous sessions stay there to watch the sunset and therefore it gets too crowded around that time and making the lift queue too much of a pain

It is the tower that is in the center, you can have a panoramic view of the entire city and enjoy its view. The only thing that some buildings covered Opera house, great crime. but everything else you can enjoy. We pay 11 dollars with the school but normal costs 18 dollars. If you like height and see the view of the city I recommend it.

This was super fun! They have a cafe where you can get drinks and small snacks. There is plenty of seating and great views. There is a VR rollercoaster experience. It was $20 for 2. It was fun but we were both a bit sick after. Highly recommend a stop. The views are beautiful!

Excellent experience! I took an annual pass, which covers few attractions in the city. You can see all sides of Sydney city from Tower Eye. It gives us a bird's eye 👁 view. There is also a restaurant on one of the floors. It is located in Westfield building in the city.

A really cool place to visit that isn’t too expensive (~$30 pp) and it’s the highest point in the Sydney CBD so you get 360 degree views of the entire city which are stunning. Would recommend. There’s an option of a guided tour or you can just explore on your own.

No crowd control so it’s overcrowded at the observatory deck during the last entry (6pm). No space at the glass window during sunset, air was humid, and there are purple lights that reflects on the glass👎 not pretty for pictures.

I am giving it a 2 star because the staff were very helpful. I would have given it a 1 star or lower. It is very difficult to find the entry it almost like the shopping center is trying to hide it, we had to ask the information desk. It is on the fifth floor and not obvious to find down a side corridor. It is very expensive for what it is, there is no family pass either. They trying to make it more like a ride than it really is, it is a maze to get to the lift. We spent 10 minutes and it cost us $100+ for two adults and a child just for the observation deck. When you get back down to exit, you have to walk through a tower shop maze to leave. It isn’t really worth it. I hope another building opens up their top floor to observation and offers some competition. The staff are great, very helpful, but they have to be else you would get lost quickly. It is a shame really that this is a ripoff for tourists coming to Australia.

Nice view, better to book tickets in advance, specially for skywalk tickets if you want to go to the highest 360 view. Sydney Tower Eye offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, making it a must-visit attraction. The 360-degree vistas are stunning, especially at sunset. The Skywalk experience adds an adrenaline rush, and the informative exhibits provide fascinating insights into Sydney's history. A memorable experience for all.

The Sydney Tower Eye, standing at a height of approximately 309 meters (1,014 feet), is one of Sydney's most prominent landmarks. Here are some key points about it: 1. **Observation Deck:** The tower features an observation deck known as the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck. Visitors can take high-speed elevators to reach the top and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of the cityscape. 2. **Panoramic Views:** From the observation deck, you can see panoramic views of Sydney's skyline, including iconic landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, and beyond. 3. **Skywalk Experience:** For the more adventurous, there's an optional Skywalk experience. Visitors can walk around an outdoor platform that encircles the tower's peak, providing an exhilarating view of the city while safely harnessed. 4. **Dining Options:** The tower also offers dining options. There's a restaurant called 360 Bar and Dining, providing a unique dining experience with stunning views as you enjoy your meal. 5. **Interactive Experience:** Inside, there are interactive touchscreens and displays offering information about Sydney's history, landmarks, and interesting facts about the city. Visiting the Sydney Tower Eye is a fantastic way to get a bird's eye view of Sydney and appreciate the city's beauty from a unique perspective.

It was nice to see Sydney in bird’s eye view. You get a much better picture of this cosmopolitan and green city. We chose a late afternoon visit to see the sunset. It was worthwhile. The sunset that day was lovely. The biggest let-down was the windows - they’re seriously way too dirty. It was hard to get a good photo without taking in the marks on the window (see my photo). For a business that is based on giving a good city view, cleanliness of the windows should be top priority. Otherwise, the entrance was good, wait time wasn’t long. Overall, it’s a pleasant thing to do while visiting Sydney.

Great way to view Sydney City centre. We went for the buffet dinner which had a decent selection of food including kangaroo meat, prawns and raw oysters. Just be aware of your allocated time as they don't allow you to go up any earlier than the time given, and they also encourage you to leave when your time is up. But this is clearly stated when the ticket is purchased, just something to bare in mind. All in all, a good experience. Also, the staff there were lovely!

The tallest building in Sydney. If you want the best 360-degree view of Sydney, then visit Sydney Tower Eye (formerly known as Centrepoint Tower). The entry point to the tower is located inside Westfield Shopping Centre - accessible by riding a couple of escalators to Level 5. The viewing level is excellent. Food and drinks are for sale at the top. Bathroom facilities too. Friendly staff. It was a pleasant experience. I reckon we’ll return to watch the sunset one day. #Sydney

You don't get any better than this for spectacular Sydney City views. With the Infinity Restaurant section you have the revolving floor for 360° views. Great in daylight, however, spectacular at night. Food options are for 2 & 3 course meals. As with most of these types of menus there's always add ons to really complete the meals which can tick up the bill pretty quick. There are quite a reasonable selection of available meals and you should find something to satisfy the soul, including vegan. Quite an extensive beverage menu so even the fussy should be pleased. Staff are attentive and very polite. There is a top level bar for drinks only if that what you want to do. Same great views but static. Chairs are heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. Comfortable & look trendy but are really just annoying. There are plenty of options with this landmark other than food or drink just look them up. You do pay well for the ultimate height experience but I think it's worth it. One of those things for the bucket list.

The panoramic views from the Sydney Tower Eye … is totally worth the fast express lift up to the observation deck From the observation deck … on a clear day , you’ll have panoramic & breathtaking view over Sydney CBD & extended areas During this quick trip to Sydney … disappointedly I wasn’t able to even check out this Sydney landmark again Nevertheless , over the the past decades … I’ve been WOWed , by the surrounding views … this being well over 7 times

It was a wonderful experience visiting the tower eye. Did not get enough time to visit all of Sydney but loved having a view from the tower 😅. They have a sky diving experience which is a must, but not for the faint hearted.

For locals and tourists alike, you don't want to miss seeing a sunset over Sydney from the observation deck. Definitely recommend timing your visit with when the sky starts to change colours, it's beautiful at night too and there are plenty of windows to gaze through!

Not tourist season, so the service is not good. My ticket include a 4D movie, but the staff direct told me the way go to the top, and when I arrived the top, the staff told me the movie is on the ground floor, but when I back, there is no staff. But the view is good.

Amazing panorama view over the beautiful city of Sydney. Really nice that the restaurant is rotating so you can see the whole city without even having to walk around. Food was also very good.

An exhilarating 45 minutes experience doing the Skywalk and our host, Mr. Denis was funny, eloquent and able to provide a comprehensive narrative about Sydney history, buildings, key landmarks like The Bridge and Opera House. Last but not least, the 360 degrees view of Sydney, simply Amazing! An experience not to be missed ...

Beautiful and amazing views from Sydney Tower Eye. The lookouts give a wonderful vantage point to see Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House and surrounds.

It was a great experience to see the Sydney City from the tower view. I always see this iconic tower in my previous visits but this time I got chance to climb on top of it. The staffs are very helpful and friendly at all. This is like a Sydney style thing to respect each other. I can't see this warm welcome in Brisbane unfortunately. Thanks for the service guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We used our NSW Discover vouchers to visit and didn't expect too much. But the views were quite stunning on a sunny clear day. We stayed for over an hour viewing the city from above and the free telescopes were a bonus. For plane enthusiasts, the telescopes allow you to watch planes take off and land from Sydney airport. I can't say I enjoyed the 4d movie very much, but it's not long and was a bit of novelty.

Amazing place! The Sydney Tower is known for being the tallest building in Sydney and one of the safest buildings in the world. The scenic views of the city's skyline from the building are breathtaking. Experience 4-D cinema at the tower or try delicious meals at restaurants.

A must-do in Sydney! We preferred to visit the Sydney Tower Eye on a weekday. Because we assumed that on the weekend it would have been much more crowded than the weekdays. Although we wanted to watch the sunset, we had to change our booking to midday. I was still impressed with the view during the midday. I imagine witnessing sunset would be magical. We have also tried the virtual 4D tour which was scary but fantastic.

I have recently been at Sydney and bought the 4 attractions tickets. As the first attraction, it’s awesome, thrilling and scary too. You’ll have adrenaline kicked. Really recommend the skywalk in addition to the 3D view. The team was informative and attentive to the questions we had. The interaction was throughout the walk. The team would share the history of the city and funny jokes too. So, do not hesitate.. take you ticket and go for the walk, it’s worth the price.

This is the tallest viewing point in Sydney, which has a 360-degree view of the city. The view from here is spectacular where we can see most of the important landmarks of Sydney. They also provide sky walk with extra pay, a bit of an adventure walk, which can be purchased on-site. The structure is beautiful, first few floors are Westfield mall. It can be a one-time experience. Buying tickets combining other attractions like Sea Life, Wild life and Madame Tussauds would be better with which we can avail great discount.

It’s definitely a tourist go to spot to see Sydney from above, but it’s a short stop to get some half decent photos. At least the staff were nice. Signage inside the shopping center would have been useful to find the entrance easier. There was also an unexpected, brief security check before getting to the elevator that had me fumbling with my bags.

Highly recommended. Superb food and excellent service and staff. Absolutely outstanding 360 degree views of Sydney . This is a must visit place. The restaurant takes about 1 hour to do a full rotate. Mind-blowing.

Fantastic opportunity to view Sydney from about. However, the view of the Bridge and the Opera House is hampered by high rise buildings. I suggest midday when the sun is high in the sky otherwise it is hard to photograph towards the sun due to camera flare.

  • 4/5 Moisés P. 8 months ago on Google
No entrance from street. Access is from inside Westfield on level 5. Signage to attraction entrance can be improved. Once up there, you have a full 360° view of the city and can stay for as long as you want. There are toilets available too.

Great sighting of the city in sydney. Came here in the summer to watch some sunset which at 8pm😭🤣 and the tower is closed around the same time. But the experience was good!

Signage to the tower isn't great through the shopping centre. Once up to 5th floor all easy peasy. No queues and relatively quiet in observation deck. Great views of the city and surrounding areas. It's defo worth a visit, just make sure it's a nice day.

I recently visited Sydney Tower Eye. It wasn't my first visit. However, I exprienced virtual roller coaster first time at tower. It was amazing and very cheap. It provides very realistic exprince. I must say it worths visit exprince a safe adventure of falling down from sydney water in virtual roller coaster. Please note they allow kid with age 5+ years. I would also like to mentioned that staff was very help and provide support to my old aged dad. Spcailly I would like to thank one of the staff member "Ekta" for great assistance to my dad. Overall it is a recommended place to go and exprienced virtual roller coaster. Good time to go to Tower just one and half hours before sunset to exprience two side of Sydney.

Fabulous.... Its a must to visit place. The bottom floors have a mall, i.e. there are restaurants, shops and what not. The skywalk is amazing, the VR experience is crazy and the telescopes are free to use unlike many other places

It's even better because you can see the city at a glance and the sophisticated city beauty. It's the best spot because you can see the fantastic sea like an opera house a little further away

It was a bit busy on Thursday Made it relatively difficult to capture the 360⁰ view However, if you are coming for the first time, it will definitely give you a new scope of Sydney CBD. Highly recommended if you have never been here.

I saw the Sydney Tower Eye Skywalk and booked right away. Immediately Julia, Jake, Aaron B welcomed us and made us feel safe. Julia was amazing with the information about the tour. Great photographer also. Jake made us feel safe and Aaron kept a good eye on us while we were out there. It was chilly. However, the view and the professionals made the experience memorable. Definitely recommend coming back!

Recommend visiting before the sunset. Also the sky walk needs booking in advance. Easy access and connectivity to this place via public transport.

Mistakenly wrote a review about the Sky Feast Buffet inside this building pregviously. Check out that google review for the SkyFeast Buffet on their account. Anyhow this tower is elegant and beautiful to say the least. The closer you get the more captivating it is. Try appreciating it from a far and then when your neck is near 90 degrees angle looking up above. It takes you on a high!

Went there off peak on a Thursday afternoon. A great place to start planning which places to go to in Sydney. Great to spend at least an hour here with family, friends or a significant other to just enjoy the sights and a snack too.

A nice place to see the city of Sydney from above. We walked in and bought our tickets without any issues on a Monday early afternoon. We took the lift up to the tower. I wanted to go to their bar restaurant for a drink and snacks, but it was closed to the public with only a lunch buffet offered.

Very nice experience with wonderful views. Plus points: the charcuterie and the cheese platter was nice, as well as oysters. However it was hard to find and on the day and at the time we went, it didn’t revolve. We asked for 1 more toast with the cheese platter as we were 3 people and got 2 toasts, and had to pay $10 extra. That’s why I removed a star. Otherwise, it’s a nice tourist attraction to visit to catch Sydney’s beauty from above. The elevator is quite intense so be careful if you have issues with quick up and down elevators.

A perfect spot for family visit on weekends. See famous Sydney landmarks from a bird perspective. View is magnificent on a sunny day. Walking distance to Town Hall railway station. Plenty of souvenirs on offer.

View was amazing and our guides Mike and Jake we’re super helpful + had a bunch of handy hints. I went with my cousin who doesn’t speak english and they allowed for time for me to translate all their questions and facts! Definitely would recommend although I’d love if you got a bit more time at the top.

This is the tallest building in the city of Sydney. They have an inside observatory that is fun to go to to see the city and an outside observatory that is a lot of fun and is somewhat unique. Both observatories are very expensive, especially the outside thing. They are both once in a very long time activity.

Visited for the first time in about 20 years, and I'm still super impressed with the views. Seeing all of Sydney while walking around the viewing floor is still a mind-blowing experience, even for someone who has almost always lived in Sydney.
