Lovely large grassy park with a variety of trees, toilets and a solid shelter containing tables. Impressive memorials and other things of interest. Sports field and exercise equipment. Drinking fountains, including for dogs. Community Garden for those who join.

Nice park with nice walk ways , kids play area , barbecue , soccer ground and rest rooms. There is only street parking and gets busy on weekends - so plan accordingly and visit !

Lovely clean grounds, very much a family friendly place to go. The restroom is always clean, secure locks and plenty of safety. The Park often has ample room for Picnics and other things, I have seen a few Birthday Party's here as well. Other than so said, it's a lovely park with maintained Gardens and Shrubbery. Thankyou!!

A spacious park, including an oval, a children’s play area, lots of green space for picnics, and many flower gardens. There’s a community veggie garden, and a Bowlo/Bowling Club located within the park as well. Public toilets aren’t the nicest but do the job, and a barbecue area with electric barbecues for picnics.

Ashfield Park is a fantastic place to bring the family on a sunny weekend. There is a well-kept football/rugby pitch, plenty of seating, lovely shade trees, barbecue facilities and playground equipment. I particularly like the balance of open and secluded spaces in the park, and I have to admit, when the sun is out, it really makes your heart sing to be there. I am also a huge fan of reserves which feature bodyweight-based fitness equipment that is free for the public to use. This is a lovely park, and if you live in the area, I recommend visiting it if you haven't already.

It's a good family park overall with recreation facility.for locals to enjoy. It's a bit odd I didn't see any dog walking with the owners. However , I see family's with their kids having a family picnic. The park isn't perfect , it requires some upgrading

An expansive park with plenty to keep kids busy. The only downside is the proximity to busy Parramatta Rd. But away from the road you don’t notice it. There is a large playground, a couple of exercise areas. There are clean toilets, free BBQs and a number of drinking fountains. See if you can find the Mary Poppins statue and work out why it is there. There is war memorial, a Philippines memorial and a language memorial. Look out for the Rainbow Serpent totem.

Good for kids and jogging plus sections for football and basketball. Thinking of picnic, there is bbq area. Oval soccer ground.

This park is great, you'd think it was noisier considering where it is but it's fine. The exercise equipment is nice for a few reps and there's shelter for a picnic in the rain, the toilets are a bit under sized but if you figure out that there are extra ladies ones under the bowlo it's not too bad at all.

Huge park with nice variety of large palm, pine, oak and gum trees. Quite a few nice sculptures around too. Plenty of room for the kids to run around or play in the shade. Really good large playground suitable for toddlers and older kids. There's a couple of bbq areas too. Whole park has a nice family feel.

No off lead area for dogs. When asked if an area could be designated for dog exercise the council said no because people with disabilities or those who just had surgery might get scared. The next week they blocked off the main wheelchair entrance on Parramatta Rd for no good reason, the construction work it was for didn't impede any footpaths.

Nice Park with Playground for Kids, oval for running and plenty of trees to sit under while reading a book. Not normally crowded either. Great place for a picnic or just to catch up for a walk around.

Went to this park for a morning walk/run. It was nice and the park had beautiful palm trees. It's peaceful and has tranquil setting depending on where you are. Nice to have a greenspace among the busy city of Ashfield. MacDonald's is opposite the road and there's plenty of wildlife such as pigeons, rainbows and galas if you come at the right time. There's a variety of statues and monuments and a nice sized kids play area. At least three clean exercise areas that could do with a bit more. Love this local park, will be coming again.

Pretty good park, nice and green. Lots of big trees for shade as well as plenty of sunny spots - great vantage for sunset. Even has its own bowling club with food and bar

Nice and open, big park has a few water bubblers and a toilet, bbq place, children playground, a swing, a big freaking ground and a lot of greenery. There is a Garden at the corner with heaps of plants. Check them out but please dont pluck them, these people work really hard for the garden and it shows. Cheers.

In the midst of a busy area, this is a peaceful retreat, ideal for families, pet walkers or just chilling out.

I was able to see and speak with Archie Roach here in the park about 5 years ago. He was part of a local festival...and was very approachable..friendly and a true gentleman, besides being a compelling storyteller and artist. As i had only seen him at the Opera House (around 2008-2010)with his dearly departed Ruby Hunter, it was wonderful to see him in the green oasis that is Ashfield Park

A big beautiful park. Lovely to walk through on my commute. I particularly love the gardening group growing things and the quirky little bowlo
