My partner told me about this place and originally I only came to look at some of the comics. After finding this little treasure trove I know I will be back. If you got that creative urge or need something for some project they definitely worth checking out. Love the sculpture outside as well. The staff are super friendly.

I love Reverse Garbage 5*... but this is a customer service review. I asked a woman (long straight light hair, thin, dressed all in black with big wedding ring) at the counter at 1pm pm 29/7 who couldn't have cared less of my politely asked query. After browsing, I returned to the counter with my purchases upon which she served me again. Ahhhhh..... again couldn't have given a schizer that I was a customer. I thought maybe she was having a sour day.. but alas she greeted and thanked the next customer warmly. My bad luck?

Their website has an email option to send photos to see if your donation is something they'd accept. Sounds like a good process. So sent an email with photos. No response. Sent another one 3 weeks later. No response. Was walking past today by chance, and decided to pop in, to ask if they would accept the item I'm looking to donate. Was asked to see the item, which I clearly didn't have. Mentioned the 2 emails I've sent with photos. The lady (probably the rude one mentioned amongst these reviews) said "Why don't you walk past again tomorrow, and this time bring the item so we can see if we'll accept it". Rude, and a huge level of entitlement. I've decided to donate the items to the street gods. Guess what, 30 mins later, items gone. Reverse Garbage is a great concept, but clearly they need someone in there who can manage their processes properly. Lastly, I'll be interested to see if there is a reply to this review. If so, I suggest they use their time to reply to donation enquiry emails, vs trying to manage their public profile.

Selection of paper/art/craft/stationery/sewing supplies have decreased since more space has been made for furniture. :'( 3.5 stars if I could

Awesome! Goldmine of reusable goodies and industrial and commercial cutoffs, very random and varied selection with lots of out of left field materials.

Quirky shop filled with all sorts of bits & bobs. Fab place for artists, primary school teachers, sewers, builders & people killing time.

This would be a great place for project arts and craft and more, there are heaps of unique and cool nick nacks and they had 2$ dog toys which my dog loved.

I like this place so much. Almost attend to be there every week to looking for “treasure”…as you don’t know what you can find there. They are getting more and more organized to help people find things easier! My boys love this place, too!!

I end up doing 2 or 3 rounds of this place and each one uncovers a new discovery! You can always find that little piece of something you need...that used to be something completely different! From wrapping to perspex, vases to thermometers - I have found it here!

Very busy on weekend afternoons. Resources change frequently. They run art courses too at very reasonable prices. Great Place!

Pleasantly surprised at a fraction of the cost, compared to Bunnings and Spotlight, This outlet saved me a fair bit and was alot more interesting. Looked around as there was too much to fathom. I was looking for material to make some props for an upcoming event and I'm glad I came here. Parking for 30 min in side street across the road helped. Pleasant staff were attentive and went beyond of what I expected. Highly recommended!

EDIT : I came back the day after on Monday after calling to discuss the issue with the staff. I was graciously offered the missing fabric for free which was good service and was much appreciated as I didn't have to justify myself. So I'm upgrading my rating to 3 stars, however I still had to rent a goget and drive 20Km in traffic, which added another 40$ or so... Only if we could have spent an extra 5 minutes checking the length together this whole review would not exist. Hope to be back soon and leave 5 stars!! :) Went there today at 2pm to look for fabric. One of the ladies seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. Somehow she had more important things to do than helping me. Shop was nearly empty. Eventually I was shown the price list for fabric that was hidden under a bunch of items. Picked a roll and ask for 20m of fabric. Too difficult to measure so the ladies said yea easily 20m on the roll. Then both ladies dropped under the counter and came up with a price for the roll. I was charged 80$ which seemed like a decent deal. They said it’s nice when everyone leaves with a smile and happy. I eventually measured the fabric and was surprised to only get 13m out of the 20. The deal was not that sweet in the end.

Great place to find stuff for arts & craft, home projects and creative endeavours. Staff are friendly and everything is cheap. Plus you're helping to up/recycle stuff destined for the dump

My most favourite place in Sydney! I visit a lot but there's always some new treasure to be found. No only do they have a great range of super cheap haberdashery supplies and fabric but everything has been diverted from landfill so you can save money and reduce waste!

Great place to give some material and items that you no longer find use for. I'd hate to waste things that can be repurposed for arts and crafts, and for any other functionality.

They have just about every random thing you might need but don't want to buy it new. Brilliant for hoarders to come shopping here.

Always an interesting place to visit, especially if you're into craft and DIY. They've got a little bit of everything! The staff are lovely and super helpful and they can post smaller items if you can't make it in store. Their mission of reducing waste is fantastic so it feels good to shop here too!

😠 Was there to buy two bikes. Some tools was laying there, open in the middle of the bikes for sale. Assumed it was ok for customers to use to adjust the seat. The bike guy started to yell at me for doing so. My fault, but no need to be so rude and unprofessional. The guy told me to wait 10 minutes. A...
