Such a stunning theatre, and I always enjoy it when I visit. It's large without being overwhelming in size. The foyer is beautiful, and the ushers are always helpfulโ€”one of my favourite entertainment places in Sydney is surrounded by unique restaurants.

One of Sydney's oldest live music venues. Easy access/egress. Venue has character which is missing from the larger modern venues. Bar seems to cope with the crowds and so do the toilets. Very close to public transport. Car parking free and paid in the surrounding streets is extremely limited and in high demand as this area is a popular restaurant and bar area.Venue recently refurbished with an addition of upstairs side wings. Unfortunately the new seats seem smaller and less comfortable than the old replaced seats.

Saw Jim Jefferies there tonight, got there around 4pm and got great parking on main road for free. The staff were very friendly, at the bar it was $13 for a JD and Coke. The seats were very squishy so get comfy with your new neighbour. The theatre itself was very pretty inside, the toilet were a bit iffy.

Awesome love music venue right in the heart of Enmore. There is so much history here, back in the 70s my parents would watch Greek movies as it started life as a movie theatre and some of the chairs are displayed and the second bar. The heritage features have been preserved, and the details scream nostalgia and thatโ€™s pretty awesome. The slanted floor from back in its movie theatre days is perfect in the stand room GA section, even for shorties like me. The upstairs seating area is awesome with good views of the stage. Drinks are allowed in the area. Overall, excellent venue and easily accessible via public transport and street parking. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area for pre or post show dinner and drinks ๐Ÿธ

Had an awesome night out at Amyl and the Sniffers recently. Amazing venue. Plenty of energy and great atmosphere. One weird thing - I did chug a beer on the mezzanine level and no one cheered? ๐Ÿ˜€

Classic old theatre with so much character and atmosphere. They donโ€™t make them like this anymore. You can just feel the history from all the rock bands that have played there. I especially like the hidden room, which I discovered last night for a comedy show. Felt like I was part of the Life and death Brigade. Love it!

Love it, easily one of my favourite venues ever. Cause it used to be a theatre the acoustics and overall design of the space are amazing. Also, the hand dryers in the upstairs bathroom look kinda like robot helmets ๐Ÿ˜†

Had the pleasure of attending the Enmore Theatre to see City and Colour recently. The Enmore is one of Australia's classic theatres, with the art deco ceiling, and classic seating. It was as much a highlight to see the theatre as it was to see City and Colour. If you get a chance to go I would highly recommend.

Great place to watch a comedy show or a comedy. The Enmore has quite its own charm and character. The staff are quite helpful and it isnโ€™t the biggest venue which makes it nice. Easily accessible via public transport. Car parking is a bit if a nightmare especially if you are trying to be on time for a show. They have adequate toilets and a large range of beer and alcoholic beverages.

Got luck with the parking which could be difficult. Plenty to eat in the area pre show. The theatre itself looks quite nice. Seats r comfy and there's a gradual elevation. Sound is good. Not bad for a medium sized theatre

Great venue, full of character and soul. Beautifully maintained, spectacular architecture, detailing and decor. It was a wonderfully intimate space for revisiting the 80's music of the Thompson Twins at Tom Bailey's Australian Tour show. Really enjoyed the show and the this venue really added to the experience. Would go again tomorrow.. Amenities were great, could easily get refreshments with a well staffed bar. Definitely worth booking the parking which is a 10 minute walk from the venue but takes all the hassle out of finding a park and worked like a well oiled machine. The chap manning the entrance to the car park just asks your name and ticks you off his list - gives you directions as to where to park and then to the theatre by foot. He was very friendly and helpful. All in all, has an old school, slightly magical feel. I thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the show.

Studio 54 were brilliant. Great music to share with friends and reminisce about the past. Be prepared to dress up, dance and sing till you have no more voice to give....go and have some fun

Great venue. Especially after their Renoโ€™s. My only real criticism is the price of non alcoholic beers. $9 is taking the piss (literally). Itโ€™s becoming the new norm in a lot of venues and it needs to stop.

Great medium-sized live venue with venue parking nearby. Positioned in the funky Inner West and surrounded by a wonderful selection of international restaurants for a tasty meal before the concert.

Amazing acoustics, and the seats are comfortable. Standing for GA is also good because of the slight incline away from the stage, giving better visibility in a full crowd. The bar isn't very well stocked, there aren't many options and they are all expensive, especially water. The security team were really nice.

I attended a Kerser concert here on the 27th of October. I thought I was entering an establishment in the New World Order. There was around 200 police officers there. I have never been there before and there was a lot of young people in their twenties that attended the concert. Everyone was drunk or high smoking marijuana or sniffing speed or cocaine. I was straight as an arrow and drinking water. Despite this I did have a good time it was very interesting and entertaining. I chatted with the staff there the security guards and the bar staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. I even spoke to some police officers and they were very friendly and accommodating as well. The atmosphere was very energetic and exciting. The main artist Kerser is a very talented hip-hop singer and his energy was amazing and it was an excellent concert. I really enjoyed it. I recommend theatre and especially going for concerts there. The layout of the theatre is appropriate for singers, actors or performers. There was even people in wheelchairs which were enjoying themself which I was very happy to see. The theatre is a great place for concerts and recommend going there. Overall was a good night as I rarely go out and do recommend it. Thanks kind regards Shasha Monica Diamont

Nice small but intimate venue for the concerts weโ€™ve watched. The staff are helpful and strict with the lines. The inside is a retro vibe which added a nice atmosphere for the event.

Great place a for an intimate but not tiny gig. It holds 1600, so maybe not that small. Lounges selling beer and nibbles before gigs. Have a look and see what's on, it's easy to get to from Newtown station, just down the road.

Great venue for Hard Quiz Live 30th June 2022. Comfortable seating, lines for drinks went quickly staff prompt and efficient, photos closer to stage taken from seats F33/34, very happy with them. Extremely entertaining show hosted by the very talented and natural comedian Tom Gleeson ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Refurbished ceiling looks great and sounded good from the standing area. Great crowd at the LP concert.

they host the best concerts, but the area is small, expensive beverages, but easy access and on the main strip of newtown, donโ€™t wait long to get it, easy to get tickets and love how thereโ€™s seating area

Such an iconic part of Sydney's performing arts industry that needs to experienced by all. Recently refurbished, it looks amazing. The staff are professional, very helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with seating requests. Only a few light snacks available such as chips and you cannot take good inside purchased outside the venue, but who wants to eat when an awesome live show is right before you. The bar has various wines, beers and premixed drinks to choose from which we were able to take back to our seats and enjoy during the show.

I enjoyed Haiyaa Tour Show of Nigel Ng here. Spacious and they allow bring food and drink inside.

It is a great intimate venue but after two shows there I wonder if being close to the stage sacrifices hearing the singer. Hearing and feeling the music, no problems. The Black Crowes had the volume at 11 and blew the roof off.

One of the best gig venues in the country. Cool crew, great sound and lighting, beautiful decor. I particularly like the green room because there's often free beer and food there.

๐Ÿ‘ It's a nice theatre, with a basic bar. The vibe is very millennial and it's a nice place to go for a concert and have a beer.
