We love going to Norton Street to the movies. The staff and counter service is always good , but unfortunately the toilets are always dirty and smelly. They need a good scrub and floors a steam clean. I try to avoid them if I can but last night the end one was awful 😞. Hand gel at the entrance has been empty for a month as we go regularly. I pointed it out to one of the young workers last night . Covid is still around and I think this is still important. I know it is hard to get staff, but let your standards go as everyone is noticing.

I enjoyed my first visit to Palace Cinemas. It felt very exclusive and the service was great. The manager waived the fee for our choc tops and drinks because our gift card didn't process. You could tell they cared about the customer base. One thing they could improve on are the cleanliness of the toilets because you can smell it in the foyer...

The cinema, the staff... great as usual... BUT!... a word about the parking underneath at Secure Parking. DON'T USE IT! It is unattended and quite often there are problems! This week, the machines would not accept the Palace's validated tickets. Everyone trying to get out had to phone Secure Parking ("All our operators are busy. Your call is important to us")! and quote credit card details etc... before being let out! Despite quoting every numeral/code on the parking ticket, I still had to explain to the operator that we were NOT in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane nor we were at the Forum! We were trapped for 45 minutes. Be warned.

Luxury cinema all round. The bar and coffee are fantastic for pre or post movie chill. The popcorn is buttery. The cinema seats are comfy and the small armrest table is great for drinks. Cocktails are good. I love that the Palace cinemas host a lot of international film festivals, there is always a good variety of films to see. All round excellent cinema experience. The only thing that could be improved are the toilets, they were a little unkept. Street parking available as well as the secure parking directly next to the cinema. Normally enjoy coming to this cinema but today I find that place needs a good clean. The stairways are filthy with foot trodden blobs of chocolate.. inside the cinema I find the seats are all stained. Not a great look.

We came here for the range of movies being screened. Found the cinema to be expensive for what you get- seats could be more comfortable, popcorn was stale, service abrupt and bathrooms unclean. Lighting was also distractingly bright inside the movie theatre we sat in, and subtitles too low to be read from where we were sitting. Average.

Always love going to this small intimate venue. If you are watching a movie before lunch its a 5 star experience. Friendly staff that go above and beyond. In recent times, when I have been here late afternoon or early evening its a completely different experience. Mainly the cleanliness and the smell from the toilets. Bins over flowing and the area in front of the seats are full of empty food and drinks. Clearly not cleaned between movie showings.

Great online ticketing system, excellent Italian ricotta cake, rosΓ© wine hardly ever in stock! and there's never enough staff.. but it works out, mainly because the staff are always warm, patient and ensure you get what you need. l love this place, it's humane (although the hand-drying paper plus hand driers in the toilets are constantly needing attention) and overall, it always feels like a refuge from an otherwise often unwelcoming world outside.

I love the vibe of this place but I think they could use more than one person working in the underground car park. There were big big delays in getting the car out, perhaps due to the evening rush. Also the bar glasses haven't been the cleanest lately, sorry to say.

I went to watch the new batman movie on Monsay for only $10. Service at the counter was absolutely incredible and had the entire cinema room to myself, which was a bonus. I would definitely recommend.

Customer service has really deteriorated over the past year or so. Very sad as I'm a patron for the best part of a decade. Love the film selection and food and beverage options. Great venue and location. Can't say the same for many of the staff πŸ˜•.

Been a member for a while and while I love the range of films and how quaint and small the theatre is (plus not in a shopping centre!) I have found since covid lockdowns it's gotten really run down and dirty with ripped, littered seats, dirty bathrooms and halls. Hopefully can improve on this front so inner west can enjoy palace for yrs to come.

Spacious cinema seating, great food selections to enjoy during the cinema or prior out of the balcony with parking directly below. Popcorn needs an uplift in flavour though please. A very well maintain cinema showing the latest mainstream films, you should visit this venue! πŸ‘πŸ»

Very comfy, clean and nice atmosphere. We like to go there, it's good to have a cozy local cinema in the heart of Leichhardt. Yummy popcorn, valuable price. They also accept redeem coupons.

Palace cinema staff are courteous and so helpful. The cimemas are comfortable and clean and the movies they run are diverse so something for everyone. The coffee is good too. Worth a visit.

Great experience always. Terrific bar and cafe, clean, intimate sized cinemas with plenty of leg room. Easy to get to with public transport. Great range of films esp. International film festival screenings.

Great dejection of movies, even some not shown in other cinemas. Have festival movies at times. Very friendly staff and extremely comfortable setting. Highly recommend, one of my preferred cinemas.

Absolutely fantastic! This cinema keeps us coming back - great selection of movies, comfortable seats, wonderful quality treats - must try popcorn, choc top and coffee is on point. Ticks all the boxes! Well done!

Easy process to purchase tickets online. Not much free parking around before 7pm If you don’t know Norton street, give yourself extra time to park and walk or be prepared to pay. Cinema 7 seats at back near wheelchair area very uncomfortable. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty grubby with bins overflowing and bathrooms not cleared. The whole cinema layout is all over the place. Not my favourite..
