Worst experience ever dealing with rude, unfriendly staffs on this platform. The way they talked down to you will just put you off straight away. No kidding! It was Saturday and many train lines not working, was a bit chaotic situation. The staffs aren’t helping at all. If you ask question, they will answer you half heartedly, no smile.

The renovation for the Metro looks amazing and modern. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the end. I really hope that other conjoining stations for the Bankstown line would be renovated to the extent that they would look like world-class phenomenons. It looks very futuristic.

Track work over the weekend caused a build up of passengers. Very busy, not much seating available.

A more important railway station in it being a station where you can change lines. This one you can swap between the T4 (Cronulla, Sutherland, Waterfall) line and the Bankstown/Lidcombe line.

Very cool station. It’s upgrading soon for Metro as station is under construction at the moment but still trains are running and can be catch train for any suburbs and city. Easy access on platforms and the most beautiful thing about this station is that you will see every time airplane flying over you because airport is close from here. Train for Burwood, Lidcombe, Town Hall, Waterfall can get from here. Many platforms available for different locations.

Serves as a hub for connecting to T3, T4 and T8 lines. Construction going on some areas and parts of the platform is covered.

There is alot of work being done to the station at the moment. It will be very good soon when the construction finishes and the metro is there.

Sydenham Station is an interchange where you can transfer between the train lines of T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra, T3 Bankstown and T8 Airport and South Line. It is currently under renovation for the new Sydney Metro. A great station with accessible lifts, clean and hygienic toilets and is nicely-lit. They have great, kind and helpful staff when you need them. A great interchange when you need to get to the City Circle.

The closest station to reach IKEA and Decathlon Tempe. About 1km walk down the street to Decathlon.

Very quiet station. Hardly a soul there. No air traffic. Easy to cross roads there.

A nice quiet suburb, only 7' by train to Central station, with Ikea, Decathlon just across Princes HWy, great Faros Bro Seafood store and Marrickville shopping strip nearby

Seems as though its RICH HERITAGE (which is always evolving) is being flattened out for toy trains so watch that space! Sad a triangle of trees 🌲 🌲 🌲 and grass got the chop, though

Sydenham Station is a great train station close to the city. It services the T3, T4 and T8 lines so it is a good interchange station without having to change at Redfern or Central Station. There is a takeaway shop on the concourse selling hot foods and drinks. Every platform has vending machines for drinks and snacks. Because it is an old station some of the platforms have waiting rooms which have partially been converted to toilets. All platforms have stairs but there are elevators too. I love the view of the city from the platforms too
