I love coming here, there's a lot of cute doggies to pat and occasionally a cute kitty will come and let you pat it, the cats around this area are very very nice and let me pat them. There's this one really fluffy cat with a weird flat face I love him and I would die for him thank you. The view is also stunning but tbh I come for the cats <3

One of the best parks to unwind yourself after a busy day. As it's on a little cliff so the soothing Parramatta river is right at the edge. Beautiful spot!

The perfect spot to sit with a take away coffee from the main road. Quiet, peaceful and picturesque.

Really nice park with lots of shades and water views to unwind. Itโ€™s also a great place to take your dog with loads of off leash area.

Beautiful park area with some stunning views to the lessor known side of the peninsula. Well maintained gardens, historical gazebo, well serviced and clean bathrooms with lots of room to play for our four-legged child.

Really lovely park. Probably the nicest in Balmain and Rozelle. However, the council need to bring the leaf blowers around more often as the brilliant shade that the trees provide also result in lots of floor debris.

Beautiful park with gorgeous old trees, well-placed benches under their shade & spectacular views. The Dawn Fraser swimming pool is in this park & it is also an historical (renovated in 2021) Sydney gem. Well worth a wander.

Scenic vista at a relatively quiet location. A lovely seat underneath a large tree close to the river. Good place to picnic even. No view of the city, just North Sydney/St Leonard's and Chatswood. They both still have tall buildings though...

Elkington Park is a nice park for families. Albeit it is in a odd location a bit away from Rozelle shops, and the rockface at the park is arguably dangerous given it is a children's park, it has enough shade and adequate facilities to be a nice little park in the suburb. It is most enjoyable with friends to spend time with and there is a man-made structure where one can hold party like activities such as children's birthday parties. Usually friendly for dogs.

Windy, but a place to finish off and publish my thoughts I have come to from my worldy travels. When you travel geographically you will unconsciously always travel internally. And, my ever wondering questions of why? Why do this trip? Why over extend myself? What next and has this served me? Will I ever know? Why is it not hitting me with this picturesque view of Dubai and itโ€™s coastline. Or, is this all because I refuse to grow up, refuse to have the boring days. Yet, boring days may be the thing I need the most. To sit and understand what I already know. The only thing that brings consistent happiness, not spikes of dopamine is the contentment of our inner environment. Although, when this is achieved, are we even churning and burning productivity machines that fit the capitalist mould? I wish I knew more, but, I am now better at living in the moment. From tasting cultures and people all over Europe and other places in the world I can conclude that Money is needed as tickets but has zero baring on whether someone likes you sincerely or not. We all pretend we believe this, but deep down we donโ€™t. However, it is true. They say you only remember the memories and not the struggle. Unfortunately, I am different. I donโ€™t remember all the pain and struggle, but the unnecessary inconveniences and wasting of time and money. Not that I would change this trip, but in future, more time in one place, less hoping around. The exhaustion quickly overrides your compassion for the sweetest Spanish kitty or older Greek lady. Brevity is a skill, letโ€™s try use more of it. When someone speaks, donโ€™t worry about responding, just listen deep and then the correct answers will bubble to the surface. Your phoneโ€™s popularity is not your popularity. The content you make does not deepen your friendships with humans. But, if you are good at it, it can free you up and you can legitimately make a very good living and travel with itโ€™s success. The age of the self made celebrity is upon us. What a lovely view..

Pavilion was large with seating around the sides. Plenty of room for a party in rainy weather. Park is dog friendly, but THERE IS NO FENCING. Bathrooms were basic but clean. Basic playground with swing and climbing equipment. Great view of the water.

Lovely park with nice views all around. Only few people were there with kids or dogs on Sunday afternoon so itโ€™s a good spot to relax. Not too busy.

Another stunning, manicured piece of heaven located on the waterfront of Balmain. Beautifully maintained and dog friendly, this historic park has been around since the early days of settlement. Here, you'll find a lovely gazebo, lush green grass and maintained gardens. Just the place to kick back and let the sea breeze wash away your woes. Definitely worth a look at if you're in the area, it's stunning and so are the views.
