I have been going to Aquaristic for a number of years. The team are friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The store has an amazing selection of of everything you could need whether you are looking for beta & goldfish, freshwater, planted or marine tank needs. First visit, bought a nice little encrusting montipora I've never seen. Pics only 10mins in tank after a brutal coral Rx dip. Staff were friendly and keen to stop what they were doing, to assist. Just edited and added a pic a few days later.

Always good quality products, they treat all their fish with care and all staff I've spoken to are super knowledgeable! They have such a wide range of stock you'd be hard pressed not to find what you're after. If you're ever thinking of starting a home aquarium/fish tank come here and you'll be in really good hands!!

Wow, we were very pleasantly surprised by this store. I had driven past a few time but had never been in, wish i had gone in sooner because it is fantastic. Lots of stock to choose from and very helpful staff. The stock seems to priced really well and all the tanks look clean and very well looked after. Recommend visiting and will be returning for fish once my new tank is up and running properly.

Beautiful and wonderful selection of SPS and LPS corals. The corals here look so healthy and is well organised. Would recommend to pay a visit for any reef lover our there!

Make sure you quarantine fish you buy here. I’ve been shopping here for at least 2 years. Staff is nice and helpful, but too often the fish I bring from here has white itch sickness which killed half of my aquarium again. Since it is not the cheapest place and guys act very professional I would expect they check and treat fish they are selling or use some preventative medicine. However, that’s not the case even though I brought their attention to this problem two times myself. Shop is great, but DO make sure not to forget to quarantine new fish like me. Sad day when your favourite fish starts dying just because you couldn’t wait to add new in

Fantastic shop with a lot of hard to get things in stock all the time. Had a quick visit to them while on a trip to Sydney and found in stock a Chihiros WRGB II Slim LED Light for my planted tank. The guy at the counter even gave me a discount from the already low price which was just the cherry on the top! Will buy from you guys again!

They have a huge range of products to choose from, nothing one can comment apart from all the comments from the reviewers have already said. Your one stop shop for all aquarium salt or freshwater equipment and fish are without a doubt, the best. But my advice is to know what you want to get before going, do your research otherwise leave it to the experts, how ever if you dont like to be rushed into getting something or making a quick decision, dont rock up before closing time.

Wow! Had no idea this store was so good and so close to my house . I was setting up a new tank and the staff were fantastic and so helpful ! The prices are excellent and so nice to be able to shop in store instead of needing to order online . They have a great selection of everything! Best aquarium shop in Australia. I would not ever go anywhere else. Billy and his team are always friendly and they stock a excellent range. If they don’t have it, they will find it for you. Have a bought a large 6x2x2 custom tank from them years ago and it was top notch and good value to boot. 5 stars!!

The best aquarium store I have been to for knowledgeable customer service and the range of quality products for fresh water, salt water & reef aquariums. They don’t just push Aqua One or Red Sea like smaller stores do. The only downside was I spent more than I would of because of their huge range ;) Worth the drive from Wollongong

This is a one stop shop for all your fish needs, the personal service I have received over the years is amazing. The other night my filter died on my aquarium, I couldn’t get there before closing time the next day and the staff went out of there way to help me out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A BIG FAT THANKYOU

I have been keeping fish for 40 years and this is easily the best shop I have ever been in. The staff are great, up to speed with all the latest technology, they even have staff who are marine biologists. They take time to learn the names of the regular customers, and are happy to spend time solving any problems that arise. I have never had a problem with fish having diseases from this shop. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by beautiful display tanks, which gradually merge into the tanks housing fish and plant stock, and further in you will find a large array of coral. They have a huge amount of hardware for sale, and if they don't have it, they are usually happy to order it for you. The shop is so neat and tidy, with beautiful tanks, that you just want to bring parts of it home. Occasionally I look at other aquarium shops, but none of them are anywhere near up to the standard of Aquaristic, or have competitive prices either. Triple A and 5 stars from me.

Amazing customer service and great variety in fish, plants and coral. You can tell the people working there are very knowledgeable about the all the fish and care a lot about them. Best place to go if you want to buy fish.

Whilst the staff at the store are very friendly and helpful with good advice, I have received numerous products from them that are faulty. An AI Prime I purchased from them stopped working after 2 hours. Another mesh lid for a Waterbox tank did not have metal clips (as advertised) but plastic ones and it also did not fit the tank. A Hanna copper checker I purchased from them was actually used when I opened the box as it had a lot of missing components. I went to the store to replace it and the new one I received wouldn't even turn on. I still haven't received a working item, but at this point it doesn't matter since all my fish have now died since I wasn't able to measure the correct levels of copper to medicate them properly. It is such a shame because it is a great store, however, their quality control and the supplier they're using is terrible and results in you receiving defective and used products that leads to the loss of your fish.

Great selection of products, has some established aqua scapes on display. Team have been helpful, a couple not knowing some products and having to google it. Most of the staff I have interacted with were friendly and helpful in what I was looking for. Has everything you can think of. Alittle pricey, but considering the quality it's not to bad. Other aquarium stores you can get the same at a cheaper price. But again great selection. Don't try call though, everytime I try no one answers.

Excellent service - Dave and Cyrus are legends! 10/10 would recommend. Their shop looks amazing too - gives you that chill and relaxed vibe. Like you're actually diving underwater with the fishes. Will definitely come again!

I'm returning to the hobby and been to most of the stores across Sydney, this is the best so far. My experience has been fantastic, with good advice and prices. Tanks are clean and fish look well cared for. For me the is a benchmark store that other should emulate.

Aquaristic used to be quite good. As in was previously. Not anymore. Prices are inflated, stock is erratic. And customer. service is awful, prioritising phone calls over customers standing right in front of them. Maybe call instead? Or perhaps don’t call at all & shop at another aquarium supplier that doesn’t take its customers for granted?

Shop with the lot. Hardware. If they don't have it they will order it for you. Some very nice layout of aquarium examples to get inspiration from too.

Excellent customer service all around! I made an order online via Aquaristic's shop, and had some questions regarding the products and my plans for a planted tank. I called the shop and the team member I spoke with (Silas?) was absolutely excellent, taking me through my options in detail. When I received my order, a part was missing from a pre-packaged product. I emailed the shop to ask about this, and the manager David responded very quickly. Within a day they had express posted me a replacement part. Could not be happier with the service I received (and how my aquarium ended up looking!).
