This is by far the best aquarium shop I have been to in the last 20 years keeping fish... Andrew has the best selection of fish and his knowledge is unbelievable. He knows about every species of fish he sells and very happy to share his knowledge. As a new customer, he made me feel valuable to his business and spent the time helping with my purchase. This is a shop every fish keeper should visit. More than anything, times like this we should help small businesses to keep supporting our communities and stay afloat. Andrew is absolutely amazing. I recently visited as I'm planning a lake Malawi display tank, I spoke to Andrew for a good 30 minutes just picking his brain to ensure I'm on the right track, his expertise and care are second to none. I will be back over the next few weeks once my tank is all set up to start stocking my tank and can't wait to go back again.

Could there be a better aquarium? I don't think so, at least for Cichlids. Oscars, Oscars & more Oscars. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, even for advice when not buying. You can tell her cares about each and every fish and the hobby in general. Not a Cichlid person myself but will buy anything I need from here in the future to support this awesome place.

Best customer service hands down. Andrew puts the fish and customers over $$$. Wanted some peppered Cory’s but because the supplier had let him down and they had a few die in the tank he in good conscience refused to sell them to me. He helped us browse throughout the store until I left happy with 3 platys instead. 👍👍 if you want quality fish, don’t hesitate to visit and ask the friendly staff.

Best fish store in Sydney. Exceptional selection, experienced staff, and best prices. Andrew has encyclopedic knowledge about fish and their care, how to help sick fish, and is an expert in cichlids. Andrew has been a part of the community for decades and has contagious enthusiasm for the hobby.

Amazing aquarium and they place fish welfare higher than business profit. we bought a tank from them and they asked us to set it up and filter first for 3-4 days before getting fish.

Always enjoy my visit at there. Top quality fish and excellent services. If you have any questions regarding your tank or fish ask Andrew. Pity Chris doesn't work there anymore. Regardless it's a great place to seek professional advice.

I have been going locally to Labyrinth Aquarium ever since I was young when I first bought my goldfish, and then was pleasantly surprised when I took a greater interest in the past time to have other serious hobbyists and enthusiasts tell me that the same place I happened to frequent is what they consider to be the gold standard! Andrew is well known in the circle and I consider his store an absolute treasure to the modern day fish keeping community. I have first hand seen Andrew refusing to sell fish to customers due to inkling suspicions of sick fish. Wealth of knowledge and experience, and other well known fish stores in NSW rely on Andrew for his advice. Can not recommend enough, you are in good hands the moment you step foot in here.

An extremely rude and negative man is there. There are some dead fishes still kept in aquariums. Unbelievable!!! I’m having a dog for 7 years. Very nice and good experience and try to learn and look after fishes. Had a bad experience and told him that I dropped fish accidentally when we move them to a new place. He reacted as I kill them. Do you know how much I cry for them? Who are you and judging people, when they share their special. Go to 62 beamish street. Kind, nice and clean people there.

I went in to buy a new tank. Even though Andrew didn't have one to sell me he went above and beyond calling other aquariums to help me find one. Both his selling and buying prices are very fair and transparent. I had a chat with him and found him to give excellent advice.

Well stocked shop with a wide variety of often hard to come by fish. Very reasonable prices and friendly helpful staff. Worth a visit for your next fish purchase.

Grumpy service. Currently only seeing customers at the door. They have their own phone and collect system. I was under the impression that pet supply stores could be properly open during lockdown but I got door service. The shopkeeper did not look particularly pleased to see me which I feel was off putting. Maybe struggling like so many at this time. Came away with snails and gravel

The best LFS in Sydney if not in Australia. These guys have a great variety of freshwater fish, if you are after a rare and good quality fish, then go and visit them. Andrew, the owner is great and really know his stuff. Labyrinth aquarium is amazing!

The best aquarium for anyone looking for healthy fish, especially top quality cichlids. Best advice and help. Andrew and Nis are excellent in both their service and expertise. What they don't know about keeping fish isn't worth knowing. Very highly recommended.
