It’s common that shop can be a bit pricier than online. But I didn’t expect the difference would be that big. Only realized when I got home and check my favorite online shrimp store. —— BTW The glue I bought there looks white. Not transparent, which make it ugly compared to fishing line. ( Not sure if there is any transparent glue.) Same brand you can get it 13$ but they sell 32. Not recommend buying supplies there.

Great shop for fish and plants with a very large variety in stock. The customer service has been great and the employees are very friendly and responsive to questions. Will definitely come here again.

Staff really pushy to get you to buy expensive items. Young staff member constantly told me what to buy and it was always the more expensive alternative. A bought a really small tank for $134!

I’ve had multiple experiences with this store over many months, so I feel this rating is well-informed. The staff member, Tan, is an aggressive brute. This is reflected by a number of other one star reviews here too. The products are also sub-par compared to other similar stores, and insanely expensive. Do yourself a favour and just look up online or go elsewhere. Save your time and money.

Gotta be one of my favourite stores. The owner is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and honest about your options and how to get your tank up and running properly. Always something new to see in store and somehow always has the rarest stuff around in.

I went into the store and although staff were nice and knew their stuff, I saw many of their tanks had fish covered in ick which I had to point out to them. The items were super overpriced and the staff kept pushing me to buy more things. Would not recommend buying anything from this store unless you want aquariums filled with ick and spend 150 bucks on a 3 gallon aquarium.

The owner Thanh really knows his stuff and the store is well stocked and maintained. My kids love to visit just to see the aquatic creatures and say hello. We love the ADA tanks and the aquascapes. There’s always something new to discover and we always feel welcomed. We are massive fans of Slippery Little Suckers!

This is a fantastic local fish store. They have a really great range and all the fish are really healthy. They sell higher quality products rather than cheap stuff that breaks quickly. Always love visiting this store. The owner Tan is really knowledgeable, he wouldn’t let us buy fish until our tank was ready. Awesome shopping experience.

This is one of the best places to find new tank mates. The fish are all healthy! The owner is so knowledgeable and is always soooo helpful. I impatiently wanted to buy more fish when I set-up my tank but he was honest and didn’t let me in order to wait for my water to become perfect conditions. I can’t thank him enough for always helping us with our 1000 questions! Amazing service, products, fish and beyond! They have everything you need plus more! 😊 And we love our stingrays, I’m so glad he recommended them to us as safe companions with our cichlids! ☺️

I've always driven past but have never gone in. Yesterday i went in for the first time to get some suitable companions for my new Betta, Fred. First i asked for cherry shrimps, but learning that i had a Betta, the guy was reluctant to recommend. He showed me some tetras, then asked me some other questions but when i said i only had the tank a couple of days, he wouldnt sell me the tetras either. Instead he sold me a bio starter, a fish house, a waterplant with driftwood and told me to go back next week with 100ml of water sample for them to help me test the water to see if its ready for new fish. I can tell they love their fish. It's not the money, it's making sure the fish have a safe environment to thrive in. (But yes i agree, some items aren't cheap there. Oh well. Its a business, not charity. I'd rather go and learn valuable information on how to care for my fish from someone who knows their stuff) Will be back next week, meanwhile, I'll do my best to get my tank ready for the new tetras.

By far the greatest aquatic fish seller/fish shop i have ever come across, quality of fish is second to none that i have experienced as a life long aquarium owner.

Thanh and his team are extremely knowledgeable and are always happy to help provide advice. Highly critical of the equipment and stock he keeps and he only has the best. Will only sell you healthy stock. Most importantly, he cares about his fish and his customer's fish

As fish lover/breeder. SLC were always overpriced, not just on fish, but on everything. Example the day when new plants arrives it goes not just to SLC...exactly same plants (same day)can be purchased for half price from different stores within 5km radius! If the price is higher to keep healthy fish (as mentioned by SLC) how others do it? My latest experience! I went to shop with daughter, to buy her birthday fish. It was 10mins to closing time (I understand) so we bought 2 and she decided to go for few more! She pointed at one and It obviously looked like we are annoying that sales person(he was more busy checking his watch all the time) than serve his customers!!! With words 'Forget it! I'll sell you female, but not the one you want!' I called it and made purchase for fish we picked, went to car and waited another 2mins till shop closing time... Rude! Overprised! Dissapointment!!!!

The main man who runs the place is very knowledgeable when it comes to setting up your aquarium. I've visited many times and he is always enthusiastic to help out whenever possible. (Thanks guys for helping me set up my new shrimp aquarium)

I bought 5 Betta fish and a few corals a few days ago. all the Betta fish are now dead and the corals are not doing so well either

I got my betta fish (Clyde) the other day from this store ($70). He is just beautiful! He loved his new tank from day one, not one bit scared. The store has a range of bettas priced from low to high. I would definitely recommend, thanks guys!
