This is a great store. Always stocked well with fresh produce & a good variety of stock. A special mention to staffer Geraldine on registers .. she is extremely courteous & is a natural at her customer service role. It's great to see so many serviced registers in a store & with great staff like Geraldine.

A reasonable store was clean and easy to navigate. Prices are higher than they should be. But groceries prices in Australia are very high. Rude staff. The rudest was at the customer service desk.

It is well stocked and has a lot of options for people to choose from. In a convenient location within the suburb of Leichhardt. The bakery is well stocked with many options and there is ample level of self service areas for you to do your shopping.

A shame that such an overwhelming number of products on offer necessitate harming other animals completely unnecessarily🙁. Australians don't want others harmed on their behalf when they don't have to be. Stop misleading us to pay for it.

It’s an older average Woolworth’s, staff are a bit rude, not all but a few, pretty standard, car park is also hard work through peak times, but in saying all that, it is probably easier than Norton st.

Large, clean, well lit and well stocked store with a BWS attached. Sushi bar available in store. Plenty of self service checkouts but still gets busy at times - though lines do move relatively quickly. Plenty of trolleys available. Undercover available as part of the marketplace.

Staff are GREAT! 80% of the Customers would be ‘Local Return/Faithful/Satisfied Customers IM SURE! Apart from the occasional shortage on a few items - OK THEN Cat food haha; which is not in Their control anyway; I find Woolworths BALMAIN is a really wonderfully run store with a Great Team of integral staff because without them it’s just another Supermarket!🤭🏡👍🥰

Not the largest Woolworths but has everything you need. The fresh food is a standout here, it's always impeccable. Generally it's not too busy and unlike the local Coles (the reason I stopped going there), there's always a register open day and night.

Most shelves are not organised. Double scan for one item which means customer charged twice for one unit of product, be careful people check your receipt after customer service attendant served you.

It’s only ok. They always seem to be out of items on my list, and haven’t stocked the cheap soy milk for over a month. Some of the fresh food makes me really question their “fresh food people” mantra, and there’s always staff restocking or doing online orders in the middle of the day on a Saturday, which I find odd. But this is also the case at Woolies in Marrickville as well, which isn’t any better either. The lady at self serve checkouts in Leichhardt is really lovely and helpful though.

Prices have gone up a fair bit in a month. Don’t go during the day as it’s over crowded and stocks are low.

Some of the staff gossip far too much for their own good, as someone who shopped there One was on the phone and completely ignored me When you asked them for something they don’t know where the product is

The staff are friendly, it's nice to see new staff getting a go in the front line, though there was no one shadowing for support that I saw. This would be helpful for them to know the best way to pack groceries. The store is in a convenient location, though the aisles feel a little tired. I really like that the stock selections have a good selection and are targeted to the locals, unlike the newly refurbished Birkrnhead Coles.

Note that Woolies is lot more enthusiastic about Halloween display than they were about Australia Day. And we are expected to vote YES in next week's referendum.

Service at the seafood counter is diabolically bad! Four Woolworths bots standing there with their backs to you, happily talking amongst themselves and showing no interest at all in serving you.

Good variety, but not used to this location so hard to find some things. Well staffed and clean.

I liked this Woolworths. I wish they had left up the COVID Safe check-ins, though. Like, yeah, they’re no longer mandated. However, the maskholes who don’t want to check-in weren’t anyway. Personally, I’d like to know if I may have been exposed. It’s really the least that they can do.

Very convenient hours and lots of parking so you shop easily. Lots of variety from well known family brands to the gourmet. Hot sale item today? 1 litre Red Island extra virgin olive for $9. Normally $18. Bought some of course!

Well staffed and mostly well stocked. The fresh produce isles were a bit bare during covid but everything is back now. I am shopping here again.

All you can eat Korean BBQ with heaps of variety for $40. Absolutely fantastic!!! And ice cream with topping for desert. This place rocks!

Nice place to do groceries.. you can find everything you need here.. stuffs are friendly and the opening hours are very convenient.. the shop is nice and well organised.. The location is also very convenient.. it is easy to park or catching a public transport.. I come here almost every week...

It is what it is. Today I noticed there’s way more people than normal doped up on anti-depressants or simply lost for purpose. It’s a real bummer. I remember going to the shopping mall to see what the rich people buy. But seriously, where has community spirit gone in Leichhardt. Shops are closing and those still open are struggling. Try, Sebastian’s bakery. Marion St. There’s an energy about that place worth being connected to. As for supermarkets. Woolies at Leichhardt is as good as it gets. Quality items. Bang on for value. And they have the music turned up loud so you don’t notice the zombies walking beside you 😎😎

Rotting Spanish onion! Bought product 18.12.22 and took it home to prepare for a curry straight away. The core had started to rot! I haven’t a photo also

Their product range isn’t overly great, never enough checkouts open. Fresh produce is probably the worst I’ve come across at a woolies, assume this is because there is an awesome fruit shop in the shopping centre.

It's one of the better Woolworth big stores. There is plenty of room to get around with your trolley. Absolutely not crowded on Thursday nights. Best time to shop. Sunday mornings is also a great time to shop. Plenty of parking. No crowds. Shelves are well stocked. Lunch time on weekends are busy, but drops off in the afternoon.
