I always use their app as it sends me $10 every month, which is such a good deal + I accumulate points which can be spent on more food (or accessories) later. The CHEESE PLEASE is a cracker! Still one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had. Their milkshakes are really heavy, but tasty, I’d suggest sharing rather than having one to yourself. Soul B fries are so tasty with the b(f)acon bits!

Such a good vegan burger restaurant. Everything is vegan here! It is a bit confusing because there is another Soul Burger right down the street that sells beef but this is like the plant-based competing version. I ordered the copycat Big Mac burger and chipotle fries. I haven't had aBig amac in a long time and I worked at McDonald's in the past, but I can say this burger was a petty close mimic. It was very delicious! The fries were also perfect - crunchy on the outside, but creamy on the inside and with a flavor of their own I didn't even need ketchup. I want to try the salt and vinegar fries next and another burger it was so good. The restaurant itself is normal, nothing special. Service was slow at first but then got better. They also prepared my meal quite fast.

I love coming here for a good plant based fast food style meal. Their burgers are hearty and filling with lots of flavours. Yum.

This was my first time trying soul burger and looking at the names of the burger it was hard to believe everything on the menu is vegan. Service was good. Tried placing order through the app, there was a glitch, but the girls were helpful. Only feedback is they have stopped $10 special deals, which is not updated on the website. Cheese burger was good but cauliflower bites was outstanding.

The beyond burger is better than a lot of meat burgers I've had. Fresh and juicy.

I'm not vegan myself, but wanted to give this place a go. I got a Cheese Please ($12.5) which wasn't too bad, the cheese was a nice consistency and I enjoyed the flavour. The patty however, was pretty dry and crispy. The fries ($6) were very cripsy, I enjoyed the seasoning. They really stand by their vegan values, I ordered a mango and orange Schweppes but they said that they don't serve it anymore because it wasn't vegan.

So yummy every thing I eat I recommend coming to soul burger and Zayna Lebanese and I pretty sure the Mexican food is delicious too but I don’t like spicy food so I like what I like lol

Top recommend this burger place. It suits all people, vegan and non-vegan. I have tasted Just Chicken Burger in store and take away Beef Burger. Vegan chicken is the best vegan chicken I had so far. It consists of a very crispy chicken skin. The vegan-chicken meat is made just like original chicken texture, tender, soft while solid. Big tick. Vegan-burger bread are baked in the right time to serve, you could feel all the ingredient are the correct portion. All burger salads are fresh and crunchy, great experience to have them in store. Suggest to sprinkle very tiny amount of salt when making the vegan chicken meat, then it will be a perfect piece. Vegan-beef meat are made exactly like beef, solid, beef tendering, and little greasy. It tasted way better than real beef burger when you put vegan beef, lettuce, and other burger salads together. Great work. For those Allium Free religious, you may ask them to replace the sauce with tomato sauce on Just chicken, Just Beef or similar, take off the onion. The tastes are more vegan without the onion. Hope later on Soul Burger will remove the onion, garlic and other allium from the burger sauce, to suits more vegan people. Special thanks to the staff who took out sweetness from the chocolate mint milk shake. It feels better as the standard sweetness ruins the chocolate and mint feeling.

Wow the tofu burger was amazing!!! And it was huge!! (I don’t think the calories are correct as the tofu alone was like a whole block) It was so tasty and loved apple slaw and the herbs on the chips too.

Their Butter Chicken Burger is so good! The Chicken even had skin 😳. The burgers 🍔 are absolutely delicious. Even if you are not into vegan food. Simply delicious. The prices are very reasonable too. You can get a burger for 10 dollars with their everyday special offer. You could also get 5 percent discount if you become a member. The service was good. A lot of people order takeaway from this place, but it's nice to dine in as well there. Definitely recommend 👌

Known for their vegan burgers, sides, and shakes! The burgers I tried were nice albeit not particularly outstanding since burgers with various meat substitutes are pretty common, but the Southern fried cauliflower was really good! There is also a cloud kitchen for other new vegan brands Plantas Taqueria and Zayna's Lebanese, though I didn't try those. Service was friendly and efficient despite being somewhat shorthanded; when I visited on a weekend, the staff taking our order was also the staff cooking and serving the food. Hope they can successfully hire more staff soon! Few minutes' walk from Newtown Station.

Yum! This soul burger franchise is the best I've been to. The staff are very organised and quick to push through orders. There was a nice ambience in the restaurant and the food came out super quick and hot. Highly recommend their fish burger and big Mac! I've had a few of their other burgers and all of them are pretty good. Would highly recommend this franchise over the others.

I loved the food from Soul burgers. The cheesy burger and the lime fries were really good although the best was the chocolate milkshake. I had not had a shake sooo delicious in a really long time. Regarding the restaurant, is just a few blocks from a bus station, very easy to get there from Mascot (we I was staying). The place is small but cozy and the staff were really nice. Also, you can sign up as a member of vegan hub and get a 5% discount. I totally recommend it!!!

Food is extremely tasty and good quality, I love the southern fried chicken burger! The interior of the store is lovely. However we had an odd experience as the dinner rush cooled down at 8pm, the staff turned the music off as we were the only ones eating there. I had an overall feeling of awkwardness and didn't feel welcome as we ate the rest of dinner in dead silence, leaning into whispering because of how strangely quiet everything was. Considering it was a Friday night and this restaurant doesn't close until 10 pm I had hopes that it would be a bit more lively that that.

If you're looking for a cool place to take a friend special or otherwise Soul Burger Newton is the go. Burgers are worth the hype and overall it's just a good experience. We tried the Cheese Please and Chilly Beef burger and they were cooked to perfection, Patty was juicy and bun was soft. Looking forward to my next visit to Newtown to try the other stuff on their menu.

Went yesterday when there was $5 burgers. Waited 1 hr in line to get our burgers and it took another hour for our food to come AND they didn’t even get the order right. They completely forgot about the banoffee pie It would be awesome if they compost their food scraps/waste as they don’t currently do it. Also the interior design of the place is quite disappointing. It was filled with fake plants everywhere even though this is a plant based restaurant?

Absolutely delicious! Ordered two cheese please burger meals, one with regular fries and one with sweet potato fries! The food was so fresh and the chips were super tasty! We got the bus home after and the food travelled good as well. Didn’t go soggy or anything! It’s a vegan/vegetarians dream. Highly recommend!

Omnivore review here. Brought a friend who didn't know it was vegan and he had no idea it was while eating the SB mac. I had the chili duck and the flavours were great - quite a unique flavour combo actually. Would definitely come here to try the other burgers

Great place with a wide variety of vegan options. Delicious and juicy burgers. Great customer service. Would go every day! Highly recommend. You can't tell this is plantbased chicken or meat. Great alternative if you don't want any killing on your plate.

First time ordering from here in a long time as they always used to get it wrong. Both burgers were not what we ordered, called to let them know and was offered a refund for only one which never came. Emailed to follow up and got no reply. No one I know bothers with Soul Burger anymore as they’re notoriously bad with service. When they first went vegan it was a great concept but there are so many better vegan burgers available now, it’s not worth risking when they never improve nor care to.

Not only is the food exquisite, Soul Burger Newtown resolved a delivery issue when undergoing a change of address. They recognised the fault on their end and immediately provided a refund. Couldn't ask for a better customer experience. Whenever I consider indulging in plant-based greatness, I ONLY think of Soul Burger. Keep up the great work guys, Alex

It was alright. My partner really liked his burger the SB Mac. Mine however was disappointing. I had the pulled pork. The Smokey flavour just tasted burnt, and didn’t have much depth to it. I won’t be coming back. $23ish for burger, fries, and drink. Pretty standard price for that area and type of restaurant

Went to Soul Burger Parramatta . Food was great except the cheesy bacon fries. The cheese wasn't melted it looked a bit like scrambled egg and the bacon was just sitting on top. Wasn't nice at all. I have had them before and they were great but not this time. Have been there a few times now and highly recommend it.

Honestly, the food is good. Unfortunately their service is terrible!! Every time (not an exaggeration) we have ordered delivery through their app, we have had an issue. They either bring someone else’s order or only half of our order and no one cares to fix the issue. I have lodged multiple complaints to them and I haven’t heard anything back. I would never normally complain, but for the prices we are paying I feel this is a bit ridiculous. Their food isn’t cheap!! These issues have happened to us too many times now that unfortunately we won’t be going back, we have given enough chances. Definitely try their food, just don’t order through the app and have it delivered!!

Hands down the best place I've ever worked. The culture is amazing. And so is the management- kind, fun, forgiving. I've never seen a place where everyone liked and respected their managers so much. The food is equally amazing and I don't even usually like burgers that much. But their burgers are so creative. Not your average slap a patty on a bun burgers. They have Italian meatballs, Mac and cheese burgers, stacked breakfast and whatnot. The milkshakes are delightful as well! 10/10 would recommend to work and eat at!

I absolutely love soul burger, make sure to go there every time I’m in the area. Food is brilliant, better than any other burger joint by far, have dragged multiple friends in there and every time they love it. Seriously you can’t miss this place, 10/10, 5 stars, I wish there was one closer to home.

We bought food to eat in the place, the food is delicious and they prepared it quickly, what I did not like at all is that before buying they did not notify us that they were closing, they brought us the food and we had 15 minutes to eat. I had to eat super fast, since I like to eat slowly, and I couldn't even finish my plate. 60 dollars thrown away.

We went to Randwick Soul Burger and it was so great because they joined up with a Mexican and a Lebanese food kitchen as well. We ate yummy and packed Soul Burgers for dinner (love the Sydney Sider and option to add egg to any burger), came back for superb Nachos from the Mexican kitchen and my partner loved getting his first ever vegan kebab with the lot. He hadn't seen a great vegan kebab since he went vegan 4 years ago.

Great friendly and thoughtful service. We placed our order and “ducked across” to the vegan grocery store where we spent far too long, the lovely staff kept our burgers warm and popped our milkshakes back in the fridge. I’m not usually a fast food fan but this hit the spot. Delicious and just love knowing there’s no cross contamination risk

Very different vibe to this joint even from just a few years back. Almost looks like any other suburban burger joint. The food is still very nice though, big and tasty vegan stuff. The shakes have definitely improved, but are pricey as ever. Portions for food are good and the automatic ordering makes it pretty quick.

The Chicken burger is scarcely just like a KFC burger. But obviously a lot better for yourself and the environment! Order online and got it delivery so the food does take over an hour to get to you, but is very worth it!!

I eat and get takeaway here regularly, it’s always great quality and the staff are super friendly. The menu selection is wide and delicious, but the new truffle beef burger with a side of herbed chips is to die for. Highly recommend to everyone!

Soul Burger is excellent! I'm a big fan of both the Newtown and Glebe stores, because I used to live near the former and work near the latter. Unfortunately they're now both a little out of the way nowadays, but I'm still in the delivery area for Newtown, thank goodness! They have a great range of delicious plant-based burgers, shakes and more. The stores are always clean, the atmosphere welcoming and and the staff are really nice and helpful. Can't fault them at all.

Visited today as a vegan myself and my omni friend and could not recommend this place enough! Amazing and friendly staff who were so happy to help! The food was absolutely amazing, I could not fault it. My omni friend couldnt believe that everything she was eating was plant based, such close flavours to the meat she usually eats! Highly recommend visiting here.

Tried the beyond burger, herbed fries, and cauliflower wings. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Those cauliflower wings are the most crunchy and delicious bites. 100% recommend for anyone looking for a good feed!!

Ordered southern cauliflower fries. They were cold and raw on the inside. Had to return them and get it cooked again.

We've ordered from Soul Burger Newtown a few times now (only delivery; we haven't been to the store). The taste of the food is consistently great. The shakes are wonderful! We've had a couple of hiccups with delivery (with regard to drinks and timing) but customer service were proactive later down the track, even going so far as to offer store credit in one instance, which was appreciated.

These guys are legends every time. Ordered from their new delivery app (which has some usability issues but it's early days and they say updates are on the way). Food comes fast and well packaged. Love the boxes that make sure the chips aren't soggy. We got a discount for first time downloading the app and they threw in some Pana chocolates as well ? great variety but I always go for the beyond burgers. Not a negative thing to say.

Burger was nice, sweet potato fries were quite salty, cauliflower bites were deep fried with alot of seasoning (too much for my liking). But the salted caramel milkshake was SO delicious. It was a 5 star. Will definitely go back again just for the milkshake !

I first went to Soul Burger years ago when they were new. I went back recently after living away for 3 years. I expected that it would have changed but was blown away at how much it improved. I already loved it but now it’s somehow even better. Everything was so tasty and the facon was the best I’ve ever tried!

These guys are unreal. I was coming up from Melbourne and our plane was delayed by 3 hours. When we finally arrived in Newtown, late that night, we wen't straight to Soul Burger. As we arrived, there were just shutting the doors. But..... The opened up to make us a couple of burgers. And they even gave us an extra burger for free on top of that. Seriously.. How amazing is that?! But this review is also for their food. F^ck me, their burgers are amazing and you can see they put so much pride into their food. Filthy place. Ordered two burgers from door dash and BOTH had thick black curly hairs in them. One had two and the other had a single strand in it. Not sure what type of hygiene this place is keeping. But it clearly isn’t anywhere near desirable. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else!

Disappointing. I bought the southern fried chicken burger and sweet potato fries. My question is, "why have lovely fresh produce and then proceed to fry them in old, almost rancid, oil?" What a waste of a patty and potatoes.

Wow! We loved these plant based burgers. The pulled pork was so tasty as was the duck burger, probably the ‘meatiest’ tasting substitute we’ve ever had! So delicious. Customer service in the store was also very helpful and friendly. Thanks Soul!

I love the soulburger places. I've tried already a fair bit from the menu and enjoyed every bite. Great food and very reasonable prices! And besides the delicious food (I'm sure also meateaters will enjoy the beyond burger and the hotdog) I have to mention the kind and very friendly team working there as well. I've been to Glebe and Newtown multiple times so far and will keep visiting :)
