My go-to shopping centre. It’s a complete shopping centre from bowling court to food court to cinema. Have all the major fashion stores like Zara, H&M, Myer, David, Jones. Also, stores like Supre, Zoo clothing. Medical centre even optometry stores. Very clean and well routed. Very convenient from public transport and lot of parking space as well. Highly recommended

Macquire shopping centre is a beautiful mall with all the big brands, it’s a big shopping centre and it’s not as advanced with tech as Westfield but it’s lovely. The interior is beautifully decorated and is a good place to take good photos These days as Christmas decor is top notch. Food court is enormous with variety of options available. You can find parking easily over there. Loved it 4/5

Great selection of stores however the layout of the carpark and the technology used for it is pitiful. The company that they used to design it and maintain it should be absolutely ashamed. It is 2022 and they still have paper tickets for the parking? I can see the management of Macquarie Centre do not value the environment or their customers, only the dollar!

I took a picture in the food court. It's just a public place open area. Security guard confront you aggressively and ask why you're taking the picture and said it's a private property, no pictures can be taken. WOW, which rule says picture cannot be taken? Thousand of pictures taken with people with family every year and in all part of the shopping center. Young security guard with glasses, have serious anger management / mental issue. Really need to brush up customer service skill as well as further training / knowledge of being a security guard which role / area can or cannot do as well as PROPER security protocol. I'm also a shareholder of AMP Capital who is the owner of this shopping center. Really disappointing and disgusted at the infrastructure I invested into.

Don't get me wrong the shopping centre is right up there and is probably has the best suite of shops compared to neighbouring suburbs. The reason for the 3 stars is how horendeus the layout is. It's laid out in a warped spiral, so you're either travelling a steep incline or decline at all times. To top that off, they have half levels that cut through the centre, which adds so much confusion to getting around for newcomers of this centre. I've only come across a few map info terminals in the entire centre. Put more in! The layout really hinders what the centre actually offers which besides that is overall great.

My first time here in about five years. And wow - the new extension is excellent. Big name brands. A larger variety of shops. The new section is located just east of Woolworths. You’ll find an additional food fall here as well as a Coles supermarket. The Macquarie Shopping Centre now has just about all the big name brands across their whole facility.

Rating: 8/10 Short Review: Loads of fast food, great ice rink, entertaining. Long review: I came to Macquarie Centre to do some ice skating with friends for the Weekly Friday public disco. It was my first time ice skating and the patrollers were very helpful and it was overall a great experience. I found the bathrooms interesting but that’s fine. Another issue I found was the only drinkable water besides the vending machine was the taps in the bathrooms, which was actually quite refreshing. 100% will be coming again.

Lots of disable parking which is great and have loading areas between spots to make sure you have room for getting chairs in and out. but this centre has to have the slowest lifts ever!! Think I spent more time waiting for a lift to get between levels than shopping. Makes you want to leave, not stay and shop longer. Centre has good food choices and disable bathrooms are ok.

Great shopping centre with plenty of shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking and accessibility for all ages. Very busy during Christmas time. Big food court, has an ice skating rink and strike bowling rink. Has free wheelchair services if needed, call beforehand to reserve one at the concierge near H&M.

Huge. As someone who hasn't yet had the chance to be a regular, it's easy to get lost. However I've found that if you keep walking, it goes in a very subtle spiral so you'll travel all levels eventually. Usually it's just the food court areas that are most crowded but other than that, there isn't a lot of crowding elsewhere which is nice. Heaps of shops to choose from and a variety of food to enjoy. Has an ice skating rink too which is absolutely cool.

Update: avoid if you're socially-distancing. A few things that stick out for me: * Quell. What an exceptional host Peter is! His thoughtfulness is a breath of fresh air. Fantastic food and service always. * Now a distant memory unfortunately: The BEST Mrs Fields Peanut Butter Dream Bars - I've tried a few other Mrs Fields' and they are nowhere near as good as this branch. Yeung is always a delight when serving. * A Christmas hippopotamus!?! Are the Christmas giraffes back too? ? We love them! * Vogue Café - interesting always. * The loudest food court ever. ? * Part of the general thoroughfare from/to the escalators. A rethink of this area would be GREAT. May I suggest some kind of sound deadening, that doesn't kill all the sound but greatly quietens it. * Great seafood, including fish and chips, at the fish shop near Coles. * Lots of parking usually. * The usual shops like David Jones, Myer, Target, Big W, as well as some others like Aldi, H&M, and others. * A view over the ice rink from the food court is a great touch.

I love this mall, it really completes in one grab for shoppers. Food court, electronic, saloon beauty, cinema, gaming, skating etc Every level has own parking area with new auto gate, free parking for first 3 hours. A quiet busy on school holidays, even during weekdays.

A nice mall, with a wide variety of shops. Looks small from the outside, but a pleasant atmosphere inside the mall. Would recommend to people looking to buy a quick bite or drink. Also has a lot of clothes and apparel shops, and generally a good place to buy something.

It is the worst shopping center. It is really a maze, the car park entrance, from the parking to the center, the inside of the center, everywhere, just a maze. No sign , no guide, no hint, nothing. I parked my car, I have to walk very long way to the inside. Inside the center, even in the same level, there are many stairs, paths or doors to the different area of the same level’s parking area. You definitely have no way to find the original path to your car in short time. I spent 40 minutes to find out where my car was parked. Oh, forgot to let you know, remember, DO SEEKING HELP from their helpful staff, they will tell you “I am busy on others, sorry I can’t help”. It’s really a “amazing “ place. I won’t go that place anymore.

This shopping centre has one of everything! But be warned, if it's your first time there, it's an extremely confusing layout but you will eventually figure it out. Great place to get first pick of all your favourite fashion brands or just pick up some groceries.

Family friendly mall, totally loved it. There are abundant parents rooms. Every time i found the parent's rooms very clean. I wish they can upgrade their play area to accommodate +3 age, the one in front of kmart. Currently It is designed for 3 or below age. You will find all major grocery stores coles, woolworth and aldi. It is rare to find all three in one mall.

A big shopping mall in the Macquarie area. It has all the essential shops. Clean amenities and easy to navigate. However, parking is a bit of a nightmare, at least it's free for the first 3 hours.

Worked there since 2019, it has an maze-like biding design, lots of customers cannot find their way. It is the strategy played by all big malls, stuck you in, then while you are looking for the way, potentially you may purchase more. Overall it is a nice mall.

One of the malls in Sydney which is very well structured and big spaces to walk around! Apart from this, I would like to mention Frances, one of the service person in the concierge who is one excellent example of giving good customer service. I was walking around and checking around the interactive Information board beside the Concierge when she just checked me in and asked “how can I help you?” Afterwards was a good exchange of conversations about the shops around. She so polite and she listens. I hope the management will get more service people like her. Very helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My favourite shopping centre in Sydney. Modern, well maintained, and managed, and full of the things I like. From food to shopping to grocery to bakery. I can always find what I want here and there are constantly new things and new shops or new offers to keep everyone entertained. I used few times of the $400 spending free car parking offer, and I can really stay here the whole day. Go through few meals and shop what I need. I do not get bored by staying in this space.

4.1 - The internet at Macquarie Shopping Centre has reduced in speed and access. Because of its limit, I don't stay as long and would rather take my business elsewhere in terms of cafes and restaurants. I like that it has great selection of clothing outlets but I choose to have food quickly now and go to an alternate shopping centre for coffee/chill. It's a good place to explore shops but the signage is pretty poor here so people get lost and often stop and ask me where things are! There's even a yum cha restaurant! But not enough clear signs.

Great little park out of the way at the junction of the Pacific Hwy and Ryde Road. A good collection of play equipment and in good condition. A nice large space for the kids to run, set up a small game of cricket or kick a footy around. The park is fenced around it’s boundary so it’s safe for smaller kids to roam free. The quiet side street of Holford Cresent is only used by residents and is not quickly traveled.

Gather round gentlemen, let me tell you a story. When you find yourself being dragged around this monolith of a centre, by a partner who is set on spending all your hard earned dough, take a short hike to observe some wildlife. For across Waterloo Road, opposite the centre, on a sunny day, a water dragon sits immediately adjacent the footpath above Shrimpton's Creek. Viewing this scaled creature will save you from that impossible question: "does my bum look big in this?".

This shopping centre is thriving because of the strong emphasis on health and hygiene. You can feel a greater degree of personal safety I think whilst doing your shopping or looking at the latest fashion. Most stores have their own hygiene approaches, it appears the better the store the better their approach. I'll take a temperature check anytime. Of course at this stage masks are optional . So shop and enjoy I did

One of the best shopping centres in Sydney with variety of shops, department stores, foods and fun. You can enjoy the livelihood of the place, try the ice hockey court or VR games, enjoy the large selection of food in the food court, and so many other things that make you happy. The only downside is the parking area, it's not spacey and sometimes it is tricky to find one.

Macquarie Shopping Center is conveniently located a minute's walk from Macquarie railway station exit and on the other side of the road from Macquarie University and Hospital. Like in most urban places in Australia, pedestrian pathways, motorways, traffic lights, bus stops, buses, etc. are provided in safe and user-friendly ways, making the shops in the centre accessible and inviting, even to the uni students, which may or may not be a good thing 🤔☺️. The shopping complex itself boasts all variety of shops. Since I am a person of only ordinary daily requirents, all my needs are met by its supermarkets, produce and electronics shops, food court, stalls, etc. Macquarie Center also serves the residents of neighbouring suburbs of Marsfield, Epping, Eastwood and others with quite a choice of bus and train services for those who don't want to do add to traffic congestion by unnecessarily using private transport. There is also a movie theatre here. In short, it's a typical Sydney mall.

First time over here in Macquarie Shopping Centre. Seems like this place is a lot of people who lookalike and originally from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepalese and India. Unfortunately that my experiences had to concern with these people. Because of they did not take the empathy and lack of understanding to others around them during rush hour!! They were so picky and fussy with the things they wanted. They're not even easily done when dealing with the staffs. This was happened most of my time. I was waiting and wasted of my time. I sometimes went back to work late because of them.

Bank's (ANZ, CBA, HSBC, NAB, SUNCORP, WESTPAC) Service NSW, Post Office, Cinema, ALDI, Woolworths, BWS, David Jones, Target, Big W, and a bunch of other stores, food courts, coffee shops, footwear and clothing.... really way too many to list. Area surrounding certainly has changed over time but is still a safe, convenient, and spacious place to shop. Never gets overly busy so it is a nice alternative to smaller centres such as castle towers.

Quite a large shopping centre. One part has been upgraded whilst the other seems dated and run down. It takes a while to get your bearings as the floor plan is complicated level by level. It is as though two building with completely different floor plans have been connected. There are various virtual directories but they still don’t make sense due to the layout The range of stores is great with H&M, Zara, David Jones and Myer

Very conveniently built. Has almost all the stores for daily needs.

This Macquarie shipping centre is beautiful with so much options. It seems to be designed for some special class not for everyone to shop as prices are mid to high. May options for retail, fashion, food and grocery. Macquarie centre staff is nice and it is wonder in term of accessibility. Multiple entry and exist points. I have been visiting it since 2003 and I see this always up to date and wonderful.

Excellent! Great range of stores, lots of parking and relatively easy to get around. Some of the levels are kind of halved in the centre, so its a big confusing on the Big W side of the centre, but once you get the layout down, its ok. There are lots of accessible ramps and elevators / travel-ons. Almost none of the stores are open right now due to COVID, but there are still many stores with a good range. Would definitely recommend!

Loads of things to do here like laser tag, bowling, ice skating and movie watching. Basically the place of gathering for groups of friends with plenty of food options too. It does get rather crowded though and finding parking or seats might be hard so be mindful of that.

Re MISTER MINIT One of 6 customers waiting for them to return at 20 to 3... Posting at 20 past 3. No phone answer or diversion. One lady said "he's been gone for hours, nearly all day". Lots of people went to competitive watch battery stall. Unfortunately Macquarie Centre don't have another shoe repair store. Very poor service.

Food is fresh and above standard. Love to find a good Japanese cuisine in Parramatta area. Staff is energetic and good service.

Has all the brands you can possibly imagine. Had decent parking and ample toilets. I love the layout and the way you can move around the entire mall with a trolley and not worry about where the escalators or lifts are. Loads of food options too. The ice rink sometimes has games too. Overall, positive experience.

Great, medium size, shopping centre, which is centrally located. Has an excellent variety of shops, better than average parking and a wonderful array of restaurants. A little something for everyone. Definitely worth a try, even if you are out of the area.

It was only my third or fourth time I have been to Macquarie shopping centre, this time was for lunch and a movie and no I’m not telling you which movie before you ask😀 the centre is quite big with everything you need. The Uni students seem to like it a lot as well as there were a lot of ‘em. Definitely worth dropping in there.

The Macquarie Centre is one of our favourite centres for many reasons. You have heaps of parking, it's easy to get too, great food and the cineams totally rock there. Top spot!

Chambers Coffee served the best carrot cake. Super moist and fresh, amazing service. The Loft also has a variety on their menu. Detox juice and lunches are a win, on top of their awesome staff and service.

Has everything, packed parking though on weekends. A bit twisty the place i.e., levels melding into one another and it's easy to get lost. I find parking near the post office is the fastest access point to literally everywhere. Also there's a bottle recycling machine that's fantastic between 3 - 5 PM when it's emptied and not too crowded.

One of the finest shopping centres in the Sydney region with a vast variety of fashion shops, accessories, electronics, consumer goods, food, decoration, furniture, etc. You can get whatever you need at this centre. There's ample parking space and the whole centre is well maintained and hygienic. As a first time visitor, I was a bit lost due to the huge size of the centre but that's not a downer to be honest. You can enjoy your shopping experience out here always.

Good for shopping. Good for eating and movies. Lots of parking. Very complicated setup. I often get lost trying to find my bearings and they do not have information setups. One day I was so tired from shopping, my feet ached, but spent another half hour trying to find my parking. Sigh

I love this shopping centre. It has got every major store that you might need to visit. Ample parking spots available. Ice skating ring is amazing. Take your kids there for a good fun. Event cinema is amazing. Food options are good and the centre is easily accessible through public transport.

Great place for all your shopping! Pretty much you have one level dedicated to female shops and another one for males. All the big shops have a presence there. Do not miss the ice skate ring! I would say that it is the largest one in Sydney. And there is also a Cinema, a food court and another level with more refined restaurants. Easy access by bus, train, metro or by car. Bit the car park can be very busy some times though.

Nice centre, but it's impossible to find anything. Unlike with most shopping centres, the layout isn't here in Google Maps, and you can't just type what you need in the directories, and instead have to wade through counterintuitive categories. I don't like wasting time wandering around lost, so I don't think I'll come here again. UPDATE: Turns out that you can search on some terminals but not others. It'd be good if there were more of the ones with the search feature, and more signs pointing the direction to important landmarks like the station and the university.

Very big shopping center just a next to university. Shopping center has multiple floors and there is a lot shops to visit. Parking are is quite big so there should not be problem to have parking slot. Top floor is mostly full of restaurants, next time I have to grab something to ear from there.

Excellent shopping centre with great variety. It’s a great place for shopping, entertainment and food. Plenty of options to eat, catch up or just spend a day by yourself, with family or friends in the shopping centre. If you’re new to the shopping centre you may struggle with accessing the shops easily. It’s a bit of a maze and it’s easy to get confused. The newer area of the shopping centre is fabulous and looks like a whole different centre. It’s generally a busy place but if you have the time and can make a trip on a weekday you may actually get to enjoy a leisurely day at the shops. Overall great place and conveniently located with bus stands and metro very close by.

The Macquarie centre has nothing less than every other big shopping centre and..it also includes an indoor skating rink! Huge in size, that cold department might be perfect for you or/and your family, since not only can you ice skate for hours, but also watch a live hockey game while eating your favourite food. Recommend with no doubt.

Good centre with plenty of popular brands. The seatings and bathroom is nice. Good price and good staffs

  • 3/5 Warren S. 10 months ago on Google
Very large shopping centre catering to young local University students and local corporate business. Not suited to local residents who go to other shopping centres. Be careful of parking costs as they escalate the price in 30 minute increments so going past the free 2 hours becomes very expensive in a short time. No good restaurants for an older persons outing as they are all expensive quick turn around food outlets catering to students and business clientele. Ice skating rink but management tried to close it down years ago to built more shops so future has been under a cloud for years. Years ago this shopping centre was good for local residents but owners change direction getting rid of certain styles of shops and totally now for students and big business so nothing there to attract locals.

Went by train and only a short flat walk to the Centre (do recommend using an umbrella if raining as there is no coverings between station and centre) Has everything you need, all the big stores are there. Plenty of parking. Clean safe environment with plenty of space to move around. Highly recommended.

Thoughtfully zoned shopping centre, EV charging, and most large format stores available. Some challenges in navigation split levels and escalators.

Bo at Concierge at this centre is legendary ....she is so helpful and went out of her way for me in directing me around the centre and explaining to me that u can't get an extra hour free for watching a movie unless u exit a top floor boom gate....and u can't validate at the actual movies??? Why that is the case is crazy Management if u r listening ...so I can't go to shopping level or grocery store then see a movie etc if I park down low? Where is the logic in that?? Bo thanks again....your the best ...

Massive mall, you'll always get lost, you will make more miles than intended, but they do have everything you need. Just take enough time into account when visiting, because it's a living maze. A good variety of shops are available and plenty of good-food places to eat.

  • 4/5 Daniel G. 6 months ago on Google
Good mall. Pretty big and has most of the shops I want. Needs an Apple Store and a Nespresso shop before I would give 5 stars. Parking very expensive if you stay more than a few hours.

As far as shopping centres go (one of my pet hates), the atmosphere, security & choices at this centre are on-par with Sydney first class, first world centre. Well managed, never had a problem.

I love Macquarie Centre but then again I’m bias because I was there on opening night thirty plus years ago. I’ve seen the significant renovations of course, so typical of Sydney. Our international city. Macquarie Centre is well situated close to the city with excellent road and public network as well as a state of the art Hospital and university all within walking distance. Best CBD in Sydney in my opinion as well as a great variety of residential areas.

One of the best shopping malls, and this coming from a person who's not a fan of these malls at all. Decent food options for all budgets, playgrounds for kids (both free and paid) and an ice rink can be found inside. It's usually possible to find parking. 3 hours parking is free.

I watched the Macquarie Centre being built many years ago, my school was across the road. I walked through the day it opened and boy hasn't it grown since then. I enjoyed it then and I still do today, although I do get lost at times but that's when you find something new and wonderful.
