It's more than just a regular street, or a street with shops all along. It is lively enough to host numerous artistic, musical, protest, and cultural events. It is home to high-end retailers as well as huge tech giants like Apple and Microsoft. I'll keep loving it forever .

The two shops I frequent here are Coles & JB HiFi. Nice little shopping mall that’s easy to get around and well decorated. It’s great if you’re nearby but I don’t generally choose to come here, which is why it’s missing that 5th star.

This centre is great, it has a lot of variety in terms of food and it has everything you need. The upper levels have a nice open feel, highly recommend Din Tai Fung for amazing dumplings 🥟!

World Square is beautifully located in CBD. Right next to the light rail line with easy access. The mall awesomely decorated with giant sculpture design or feature design. Must say my favourite thing is that it has tons of coffee shops there, super busy and they do good cuppa too. Parking could be a problem as not much off street parking around, mostly loading zone.

Rating: 8/10 Short Review: Good food, cool art, kind of quiet. Long review: The square has a bunch of stores, and cafe’s all working together to make a wonderful place for a day. The square brings in some really cool sculptures, along with it being reasonably quiet. The only issue would be the bathrooms, which need cleaning more along with them being hard to find. Overall: Good.

I usually go to World Square Shopping mall to shop at Coles or JB Hi-Fi. Sometimes I get a cup of coffee from a local Cafe. This shopping center is relatively small and that is great as it is easy to get around.

We stopped by just to look around since we were in the area. The square has a series of restaurants and shops lining the edges of the square. We did look around at the restaurants around including up the stairs but didn't go anywhere since we had just had lunch. It was an interesting stop particularly with the interesting sculpture around the central area.

Shop shop! Lots of shopping ,It fills an entire Sydney city block, bounded by George, Liverpool, Pitt and Goulburn Streets, on what was a small hill called Brickfield Hill. World Square features a shopping centre, hotels, office buildings and residential apartment towers. Liverpool Lane, off Liverpool Street, is part of World Square and features restaurants, cafes and take away shops. It is also the home of Southern Cross Austereo's Sydney radio stations Triple M and 2Day FM

A great shopping and dining experience with a good atmosphere and beautiful layout in the heart of the city. Semi-regular events through the Chinese lunar New Year + other major yearly events and free wifi make this a convenient and good place to shop.

Pretty interesting place, has plenty restaurants in and around in the surrounding streets, also has a pretty good bargain booze place in Liquorland (see pic) and a decent supermarket in Coles. The meal pics came from Masala Kitchen an Indian restaurant.

Confusing layout, not enough signs to help locate service based shops. Otherwise a lovely spacious and clean place with a pleasant array of stores.

It’s a burst of up shopping district. A great place to enjoy. Love the Chinese Zodiac Statutes celebrating my year of the celestial favourite Rat of the Heavenly YuHuangDaDi. Surprisingly this year, the theme miraculously brought along the Mythical Dragon along its glory. Love it

I enjoyed walking around and looking at the arty installations and like a few places in there. Especially the ramen place. Very crowded though which is typical if Sydney. I had no idea there was so many shops in there

World square shops is a great place for convenience. The Coles is good for basic things, and there some great eateries. There are some shops here too, which again is great for convenience. I wouldn't shop here for clothes etc, just for basic necessities.

For locals, it has everything you would need - from Coles to Priceline, fashion, tech, and eateries. This is the latest addition: toy vending machines.

Great hub for dining, shopping and also essentials. Stayed nearby and came to World Square most days because of all the different stores & take-away options. Very clean and there are also clean public toilet facilities.

  • 4/5 Jason L. 8 months ago on Google
World Square is a bustling hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment right in the heart of the city. With its array of stores and eateries, it caters to a diverse range of preferences. The venue is well-maintained and the layout allows for easy navigation. However, during peak times, it can get a tad crowded, which might be a slight inconvenience for some. Overall, World Square offers a comprehensive urban experience, though with room for minor enhancements to elevate the visitor experience even further.

Loved World Square! Just about every restaurant imaginable is available. We were staying at the Rydges Hotel. Incredible location. Found a Cole department store downstairs which really decreases our costs since every product - bottle water costs over a weeks time save a great deal of money especially with a large party. Paper plates, forks spoons everything you need to decrease your costs during a week long visit.

Good tasting food, it was busy but we didn't need to queue up. The service is very fast, just don't expect anything too fancy. The food was beautifully presented. Portions are small for single meal dishes. The tastes makes up for it. I recommend to order entree or desserts to fill you right up. Overall a good dining experience, prices were reasonable.

World Square is an open-concept shopping mall packed with eateries and a small number of shops. You wouldn't head here for the experience, per se, but it's a great place to have on your radar. Pretty much no matter what you need after a big day in the city, you can find it here. 🍜 Authentic Chinese food without the hustle of Chinatown? Boom. 🌯 Quick burritos? Yup. ☕ Need coffee? Gotcha covered. 🍫 Chocolate craving? Here you go. And I think even a post office. And an electronics shop and supermarket. It's a great place to know about, because it's never as busy as the rest of the city. 📶 Free Wi-Fi 🚻 Located on the ground floor, behind the stairs in front of you if your back is to George St. 🐮 Check out 'The Challenge', the large bull sculpture at the Pitt St entrance!

There is so much in this building. A good choice of places to eat, a wonderful hotel. The car park for this building is the largest underground car park I have even seen. There are so many levels, and it is also extremely wide. It really does cater for all the businesses in the building. I appreciate the ramps in the car park are wide enough for even the largest to navigate easily

World Square is an entire City within this one building, and is right in the heart of Sydney CBD. Whether you're in town for one night or 7 nights, you will find all your needs in World Square with more of an Asian influence being so close to China Town. No matter how many times you've been, it always seems to have something new or restaurants you haven't tried before... Thoroughly enjoyed our time here...

Again this one of those places you must have on your list of options where to go in Sydney for good food. There is plenty of amazing Asian restaurants. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and so much more. Lots of shopping stores and other options. Very central with easy access via public transport. Recommended if you are travelling to Sydney or a backpacking you can get plenty backpacking accomodation around the area and plenty of cheap but fresh foods.

I love World Square! 1. The Coles is excellent; EASILY the best supermarket in the city. 2. The Medical Centre is BEYOND excellent; I have had an ongoing medical condition for more than a decade, and have seen numerous doctors in that time, but it was a doctor at World Square who finally decided to stop simply treating the symptoms and find the underlying issue, which she had done. 3. The OPSM branch is wonderful; they took great care of me there and also helped uncover an underlying issue with my eyes. 4. The bargain shop is fantastic; I couldn't count the number of times I have found exactly what I wanted there. 5. I have a pair of thongs that I bought from a vending machine! How cool is that? 6. I regularly shop at the EB Games store at World Square because it is the best one in Sydney; and I know because I have been to every one of them... 7. There's an excellent Priceline Pharmacy there that is huge, and is open all hours. 8. There are a number of outstanding take away food stores there; too many to list here in this already over-long review! 9. The Asian supermarket is tremendous for all those yummy Asian foods you can't get at Coles. Honestly ... I simply couldn't speak more highly of World Square. Do yourself a favour and don't bother wasting your time going anywhere else...
