A well maintained park is very tidy and clean. The flowers are in full bloom, which sounds like a nice enjoyable place to walk, eat lunch, and read a book nice!

Lovely park very close to the CBD. It's not too large but has lots of features for various activities

One of my favourites parks in Sydney. I love how well maintained it is as well as it is undeniably beautiful. There is a playground of kids (children of all ages lol), BBQ pits with tables and a nice pound. Although is next to a busy road, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Sometimes school kids play some sports there as well.

Sydney must spend a fortune on landscaping, I've never seen a public park so well manicured. There aren't many benches, I'm assuming to encourage finding a nice shaded spot on the grass. Which definitely won't be a problem, the trees in this park are amazing!

A lovely, well maintained park with a playground. Parking anywhere nearby is a bit of an issue, but park and walk from wherever you can or take public transport to this very central green heart close to Broadway. Looking forward to another visit once the ground has dried out a bit after the recent rains.

A great venue. I have attended political rallies there, as well as Yabun, the annual Indigenous music festival. It also contains a swimming pool, a lovely little lake frequented by ducks. There are lots of shady trees too. A great place to relax.

Beautiful park next to the university of Sydney. It has a large pond near Broadway with lilly pads and many ducks. A good place to sit and read if you have time A children's playground is on the City Road side towards NewTown and Victoria Pool is in the centre.

If you haven't been here... Come! This park is well maintained with some beautiful lakes/wetlands, well kept grass and flower gardens, and a Cafe and pool to boot. I love when cities reserve large parks so close to the city. Take a walk through Glebe while you're here and try some local food and bars.

This is a beautiful park, with good playground equipment. It's proximity to Broadway makes it a great place for a picnic. If the playground equipment was better shaded, and if there were public toilets available, it would be perfect, but these defects detract from the experience of visiting.

This park is great, it's really massive and has everything you need, from table tennis to swimming pools, it's across the road from Broadway shopping centre and has a bus stop that has heaps of buses that go through it, there is a huge field for dogs or throwing frisbee. I have even seen people hitting golf balls and kids looking at the pond in the middle. Great park!

A beautiful park across the road from bustling Glebe Point Road. Plenty of shady trees to relax under, ponds & bird life, The Gatekeepers Lodge Cafe, & a swimming pool.

Victoria Park is the place to chill out under the shade of one of the many beautiful trees this park has, it was a very hot day, had a feed with a cold beverage and unwind. Top place for families or just on your own. Very safe as well. Recommended, in the heart of Broadway

  • 4/5 Sara B. 2 years ago on Google
Always find it very crowded. It's very centrally located so I guess that's expected. Close to public transport. Best bet to park is either Broadway in ultimo or try your luck for 2hrs free parking on site.

Really good park, nice playground for kids, a pool in the middle(paid), and lots of space for lounging around. Dog friendly, off leash after 6pm, although no one really sticks to that 🙂.

  • 5/5 Bridget D. 2 years ago on Google
A beautiful park on the outskirts of the CBD, with a pond and gorgeous tree lined pathways. Not sure if actually pet friendly, but there were lots of dogs (on leash) which was great! There is also a beautiful looking little cafe, which I will have to go back and try!

  • 5/5 Randiano T. 1 year ago on Google
This beautiful park is located next to University of Sydney so you will see a lot of students sepnding their time there. The park is also very big that it has so many things to offer from gym to the lake to barbeque spots to other sport facilities. It is also very clean and smell good. During summer people are sleeping on the grass to enjoy the exposure of fine sunrise and during winter people enjoying a cup of hot coffee on its bench. They also manage to replant the flowers quite frequentif-this makes me wonder why? haha. But overall, a very nice place!

  • 3/5 Daniel M. 2 years ago on Google
Great facilities in a beautiful park setting, especially in the sunshine. Main pool is heated making it useable even in cooler weather. The gym has recently been updated, which is very welcome. It’s inside, but with one whole side open air to the pool, making for great ventilation — important in these Covid times. The one weakness is the change room. At least the male change room is dingy and depressing. It needed renovation years ago but remains yet to be done. Sad. A blot on an otherwise terrific facility.

Nice to see a new playground with basketball court

  • 4/5 Kumail Jawad Al L. 5 years ago on Google
Cool place. It is really wide, most of it is just grass of empty space. There is a basketball basket (would've been better with a full court). There are kids games which are great. It has a number of picturesque sceneries. There is also a pool.

  • 5/5 Trang L. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful greenery and nature in this park. They have a coffee shop nearby and a swimming pool as well.

  • 2/5 Mat N. 1 year ago on Google
It used to be so magnificent and well-maintained, but more lately, the addition of a playground and shoddy lake management (very shallow, smelly and lost its bird gangs) have diminished its distinctiveness and lovely nature ..

  • 3/5 Kindra H. 1 year ago on Google
Super packed, but great place to meet and greet with so many people. It was for opening of pride fair. I gave it 3 stars because it was so hot, not very many places to sit, but did have a water refill spot which was a huge plus.

Another large Sydney park connected to Sydney University. This park is appointed with some ponds and bridges, loads of grass land. Victoria Park hosts Mardi Gras Fair day. The park also features kids play equipment and some sculptural pieces.

  • 5/5 Jasmine T. 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful parkland with plenty of facilities including a playground, picnic tables, BBQ facilities, public pool and plenty of wide open, well-tended space. Lovely established trees and a large pond with a bridge and native water birds.

  • 4/5 Deborah R. 8 months ago on Google
Huge, stunning green park with decade old trees and a large natural-looking pond, home to native birds. The park sits between the iconic University of Sydney and busy Broadway.

  • 5/5 David H. 5 months ago on Google • 28 reviews
Lovely spacious dog friendly green space, with a 360 pool that closes at 8pm , as well as a Turkish restaurant that opens day and night in the old caretakers cottage. Nice outdoor area doing coffee in the mornings with eats, as well as a restaurant venue at night. This cafe lines up nicely with the University of Sydney's avenue crossing a newly repaired bridge over a stream , then up some steps , to the beautiful sandstone buildings of the university and church tower. There are formal flower beds, and established fig trees, and acres of grass sloping gently upwards from Broadway. Of course it's near Glebe village too but not called Glebe park thankfully. It has a well established and maintained eco lake as well, with lots of wild birds ducks, and newts and fish. You can walk or cycle around the lake. The park has a barbecue set up, a playground, basketball rings . Actually there is a basketball court up top that resembles a helicopter pad and has an amazing view to the city lights at night. Table tennis too. The park hosts events too such as Freedom day on Australia day, with music and stalls. A very big event. Also the recent Mardi Gras international. There are peaceful political rallies from time to time. The park is lit at night, and open, and as far as I can see pretty safe. I mean safe to walk in late at night. I saw wild possums there last night and it's best to keep your dog away from them as it could turn nasty for both animals. The only drawbacks are the noisy City road, and Broadway, and the overflowing bins and the odd person who throws trash among the water lilies of the pond. Having said that the dog bins are well cared for. Highly recommended.

There is a play area of children (offspring of any age lol), BBQ pits with tables, and a decent pound. In spite of the fact that is close to a bustling street, it is shockingly tranquil and quiet. Me encanta aquí tan tranquilo.

Yabun Festival @ Victoria Park. It was too hot but thankfully the shade and the breeze made the balance towards the positive. A very nice park to wander. If too hot, pace it, and drink loads of water.

Great place to chill on a hot day. Bring something to eat however; the creatively named "Cafe at the Pool" features but a smattering of snacks and refreshments. Also, if you enjoy being annoying, good location to irritate people by smoking ciggies and asserting your right to do so.

An interesting park on one of the busiest thoroughfares of Sydney, but with a range of handy and quiet amenities and features to enjoy. The Victorian sandstone gateway cottage is now a vegan cafe with outdoor seating. The modernist council outdoor swimming pool complex has an array of fitness classes for all ages. There are many gum trees and I believe the area was once a kangaroo hunting ground for the traditional owners. Today it is used by many different communities including the LGBTQ+ annual fair day, part of Sydney Mardi Gras, plus music festivals and recreation for locals including students of University of Sydney next door. The large pond is a great place to watch local birds and is within cooee of the bustling Broadway Shopping Centre.
