Western Sydney Parkland is a recreational area that covers a lot of activities for yourself and your family. From bush walking, cycling, mtb park, picnic area, dog park, wildlife park and more. There is always a place for everyone. This beautiful park is highly maintained by local councils. It is a massive area that connects from Blacktown to Fairfield councils. Being a local citizen in Blacktown, it is my duty to use it, keep it as clean and tidy as much as I can, so everyone and the coming generations can also benefit these beautiful natural resources.

Brilliant place to escape the worries of the lockdown. Wide open spaces, car park overflows but it doesn't feel crowded- like the beach when car parks full. Picnic areas, covered picnic spaces, toilets.. Views to the North, East...Harbour Bridge can be seen on a clear day..

Great place to rent an outdoor shelter for a get together. There’s plenty of options with a number of them located relatively close to different car parks. I would recommend scoping it out before renting it so you can pick the best one for you. Different capacities for each one, and also different facilities (some are well suited for BBQs, for example). There are also a couple shelters that cannot be rented and are a first come first serve availability. Beautiful views, and clean facilities nonetheless 😊

Beautiful place to visit, especially during the winter week days. Good for walking with kids or pets or riding a bike. You can also spot kangaroos( Eastern Grey I think), deer, rabbits and many different bird species.

Great place for walking, bike riding and just to stroll around with the birds and the trees. Free gas bbqs, courtesy of your taxes, just bring your meat and veggies and put them on the grill. Please clean after yourself. There are bins provided.

Great place for long walks, very native Australian bush and trees. Good for bbq lunches and plenty of undercover tables for picnics as well. Some pretty good views from the high points in the park.

I attempted the Binyang Matter Trail (long) nice flat cemented walking trail with my dog on lead. The track looked the same 45 mins into the 2hour trail so it was a little boring but nice and peaceful. There were no bins in sight which was also a downfall. I will try some of the other trails next time.

Well what can you say outside of totally amazing and quite extraordinary given what they have done with the Dinosaurs and Tar Pit. Painting it Puce was a stroke of genius - and we can thank Karen for that contribution - highly recommended

Great place to walk, jog, ride bike, scuter or roller skates. Especially enjoyable during spring and autumn, when weather is neither too hot nor too cold. I enjoy watching the nature, especially birds, in this enclave of nature.

I followed Google's direction and it took me to the tip for western parklands. At the tip it had a big sign no access to parklands. Maybe research better before using Google maps. It then took me to prospect reservoir which is closed to the public....waste of time using Google maps

Very big place, can spend the whole day here, plenty of hiking and cycling trails, BBQ areas, sightseeing and also moonrise seeing at evenings. Can see the great Sydney city view from the top, Sugarloaf ridge and moonrise lookout. plenty of shades. Alot of parking spaces and open grounds

This place is huge. Nothing fancy. No toilets or barbecues or picnic spots. Just lovely long walks. Often get to see kangaroos or white deer. Lots of birds. Usually quite quiet except for the cockatoos.

Wide open place, not over crowded. Plenty of play equipment to keep kids busy. Has heaps of electric BBQs to share. Currently has Lime scooters on trial.

Yes, my client likes green spaces and water facilities. I took him to Western Sydney Parklands for his daily routine activities. We had a wonderful two hours leisure time of soccer game and my client did not want to leave the Playground any more. I had to convince and to lure him for us to go back to the disabilities centre for his dinner time. Western Sydney Parklands has many other spots that we are planning to visit such as the Zoo. It is 5 🌟 for me.

Nice big spaces, and some good playground equipment. Toilets were mostly clean, but the locks were broken on the doors, which is a safety issue, and it appeared they been broken for a long time. The signage on the road around the park was not the greatest, but overall it was a nice place to visit.

A very peaceful and quiet place to be with children. The grounds are well maintained and the benches and barbecue facilities are also very clean.

The Parklands could be great if properly managed. As they are now, weeds dominate dirty waterways and no infrastructure for wildlife to cross busy roads that disect the Parklands leaves wildlife dead on the roads.

Lovely place to have a picnic, along with a walking track in the back on the parklands. Hope to come back next time during summer.

I love running here it doesn't get too crowded and you don't get bothered which is what I like. Watch out for snakes though stay away from the long grass!!

Great night watching the drag cars, but getting out of the parking lot a typical Aussie joke took forever, you could do this a lot better.

Nice park to take a walk or bring your dog. And great for picnic

  • 3/5 Bernz A. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to visit and have a picnic, biggest downside is that you don't have bbq facilities. And to My knowledge you can't bring your own either. Otherwise this will take up 5 out of 5
