Been wanting to come here for ages and I finally got here yesterday. I was impressed with the amount of figures that are on display. There are sections for different types of celebrities such as the performers, models, Marvel Super Heroes and off course the movie stars. Well layed out and the added decor was superb. Well worth a look

A great place to see the real looking personalities and favourite stars. Staff were a real help with taking photos in the Royal dress up photoshoot and it’s just amazing. The magazine photo was an added attraction. It appeared that many manikins were shorter than the real. Well maintained and organised place great job of the creators for making the whole experience enjoyable and a life time experience.

Desperately needs crowd control. Went for the superhero exhibition; it’s understandably busy during school holidays but all the more reason to have wranglers and to stagger entry through the museum. The exhibitions are impressive and care was taken to make sure the DC part was particularly immersive. Still, difficult to enjoy due to overcrowding, people taking far too long with photos (spending five minutes taking fifteen photos of the same person in the same pose when a massive crowd is held up behind you, I mean) Large crowds also highlight ventilation and air conditioning problems. Would suggest avoiding if you or party members don’t handle heat or enclosed spaces well.

A great place to meet with the celebrities we might not able to meet them in real life. I sometimes couldn't recognise their reality of appearance. When I get face to face with them, I also feel shy 😂 It is a Sydney's great iconic place to visit for the tourists definitely. Highly recommended to visit.

A very good experience for the whole family to go in and enjoy it. Some of the statues look pretty real! Good job 👏. I would recommend booking 2-3 attraction sites including Madame Tussauds Sydney and plan ahead of your trip to avoid delay and make the best of your day. Getting there was also easy through Wynyard train station, so you don't need to bring your car and drive in the city.

I visited the Madam Tussads Museum with my 2 years old toddler. I thought I will just roam around and will have good time with my baby. I wasn’t planning to take of pictures of mine. But when I saw some statues of my favourite people I can’t stop myself. Unfortunately I was visiting alone and I had no one to click my pics. Ben, one of the team members helped me and took some wonderful pictures. He literally made my day. Thank you Ben for being so kind and generous. On top of it, you are a good photographer too. Love the experience!

Great experience! we went there around noon and it was a bit busy but had lots of fun taking photos and doing fun interactive activities. staff where nice and photographer was very lively. wax figures was awesome though not everyone was on point but definitely incredibly made - credit to the great artist/s! hope to see more celebrities in the future! it was also located near darling harbour which was a plus since there are other great sites and places to eat right after.

Small but plentiful museum of its kind with most of the famous celebrities included. you probably need two hours or so to walk around and enjoy the creativity of whats been showcased on display. I assume its not a large size venue due to its location and that fact that its in a busy circular Quay area. its best to get a combo ticket that can visit the Aquarium and wildlife sanctuary nearby in one day.

Good experience, staff were very friendly, love the waxed hands you get to take home! I remember getting one years back and it still looks the same so I can say with good care they do last long. It did feel a bit short but it was cool to see the wax figures, their newest figure, The Rock, looked incredibly realistic!

It was amazing as I always enjoy creative things. But not too happy. My kids enjoyed all the Marvel characters. Other than that, I only found the Chef Stone & Dwayne Johnson's statue very close to real. But I hear, the museum is always changing the statues. So maybe another time it might be better. All the best.

We didn't realise this was in Darling Harbour so it was a pleasant surprise. It's alot of fun posing and taking photos with the family and all the famous people. There are a lots of props and settings that allow you to interact with the exibits which make it alot of fun. Some are more convincing than others but I'm sure there is something for everyone here. Highly recommend you visit at least once

Awesome experience! The figures they have there, there is a good mix there for everyone to enjoy! From Einstein to Brad Pitt and everyone in-between! The royals, actors, musicians, sports people, super heroes and more! The figures are super realistically and obviously a great chance for photos of course. Super friendly staff especially Dev who helped me out to get some photos since I was there alone! Definitely recommend it for tourists for a bit of novelty :D

We had the most amazing time visiting Madame Tussauds Sydney! The wax figures are incredibly lifelike, and the exhibits are well-organized and captivating. It's a must-visit attraction for both locals and tourists alike. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the male staff member who took photos for us. Not only was he genuinely nice and helpful, but he also offered creative ideas to make our pictures stand out. His warm personality and enthusiasm made our experience even more memorable. Throughout the museum, there were numerous opportunities for fun and interactive photo sessions. The staff member's suggestions made our pictures truly one-of-a-kind, and I appreciate his efforts in making our visit an unforgettable one. I highly recommend Madame Tussauds Sydney to anyone looking for a unique and entertaining experience. Don't forget to have your photos taken by their wonderful staff – they will definitely go the extra mile to make your visit special.

"As a first-time visitor to Madame Tussaud's in Sydney, I must say I was genuinely impressed by the experience! The lifelike wax figures were astonishingly realistic, and it felt like I was standing next to my favorite celebrities and historical icons. The attention to detail is impeccable, and the interactive exhibits added an extra layer of fun. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the visit enjoyable from start to finish. My only small critique is that it can get a bit crowded at times, but that's a testament to its popularity. Overall, a fantastic attraction and a must-visit for anyone in Sydney!" 4.5stars

First time to a wax works and as a mid 50’s man…I really loved it. Most are absolutely fantastic but there’s a few that’s just not 100%. Still 5 stars because you have to go at some point in your life. Just do it. So much fun….for the kids of course. 😂

A really fun place to come and see the stars. Staff were helpful especially with taking photos. The Royal dress up photoshoot was amazing. The magazine photo didn't work for me as I couldn't get online connection inside. Elle was a lot taller than I expected. The politicians were shorter than I expected. There was a jukebox to play your favourite songs. Well done to the creators for making the whole experience so enjoyable!👍🏻💯🤗

A visit made memorable by some awesome staff. Travelling solo, I wandered into Madame’s not expecting to be so well entertained. Thank you to the lovely Jeannie who started off my kindly taking my pic with my idol Nelson Mandela. She then proceeded to accompany me throughout - taking my pics , offering tidbits of info on each of the statues while I entertained her with my lack of Aussie knowledge . Definitely came out having enjoyed the journey and learnt a few things along the way. Thank you. Suggest going early .

What a fun experience to have while in Sydney! My family and I all enjoyed the photos, and had a good time. There were lots of laughs and giggles along the way, for both adults and kids. We can see that other visitors were having a good time too. I would recommend for a fun morning or afternoon out. Staffs were friendly too. If anything, the interior space could be more airy, it felt a little muggy in some rooms, especially when a bunch of visitors happened to be in the same room. But that was minor, compared to the overall experience.

Loved it. Enjoyed learning about M.T. and her history. The Royal family were so life-like, especially King Charles. The staff were great - Ben showed me some hidden facts, such as, Brad Pitt's bottom is spongy so you can squeeze it😊. Ben made the experience more enjoyable and knew where i should stand to get the best photos. Thanks Ben

This place is pretty nice, however for the price not worth it. We got through here in less than 30 minutes. There’s really not that much to see. If the place is empty, like in our case, you won’t be spending much time there. We went there due to buying a attraction pass and only paid half price.

From outside, it didn't look big and not much publicity about this at Sydney. However was pleasantly surprised by the displays, names and photo opportunities. Well placed wax statues gave ample opportunity for photos, especially loved the group photo with her Majesty and family, and the various props available to dress and be amongst the celebrities.

This place is so much fun! You get to see celebrities, have fun and enjoy a day out in darling harbour. It depends on your time and energy level you can couple it with another activity like the chinese garden, the sealife aquarium. It takes around 1h to visit the whole place. I still dont understand why they print out photos, rather than letting us view the images online and buy the picture that we want for a reasonable price

(Translated by Google) Located next to the Darling Harbour-Aquarium, there are nine themed areas that hold wax figures, and interacting with visitors is a new, permanent attraction. Whether it's surfing Ryan, kissing Leonardo DiCaprio, dancing with Michael Jackson, or talking on the couch next to Oprah, visitors will feel as if they are immersed. There are some props, hats, medals, etc. on the walls of each area in the museum. You can definitely wear them and take photos with wax figures, to ensure that when you go back, it is not clear which one is real! The first thing you need to do to make a wax figure is love. More than 800 hours of hard molding, measuring, painting and sculpting entered. We have a trained wax sculptor who can replicate anyone in Hollywood or the world leader, and that's exactly what you think you are facing a real person. If you run into someone they find themselves saying sorry, you realize that it is a wax figure of Penelope Cruz or Johnny Depp. This is the skill of our sculptor. But the big question is how did they do it? At Madame Tussauds Sydney Madame Tussauds, you will not only appreciate the wax figures like real people, but also learn how this group can create this incredible world. Opening hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and the last entry is at 7 pm, which is open to the public daily. Opening hours may vary, as there are sometimes private events at the moment. Please check before you visit. 10% discount for online bookings. We come here as a second destination after the Sydney Sealife Aquarium. You can purchase ticket cheaper if you’re a NRMA member i, i bought both tickets from Sealife and museum for only $48. There’s no photograph session like the Sealife which is a bit disappointed, there’s also no one give you the photo card to scan for photos and the scanner over near the stage place is broken as well. The museum itself is amazing, there are so many famous characters, the faces are well-known and well-made. You can snap a chance to take pictures with Taylor Swift, superman, spiderman etc. I had so much fun.

I looooved it, it was so exciting, I preferred to see some more sculptures of the very famous people, some legends were missing, Mel Gibson, De niro, Al Pacinio, … And not all of them looked like the actual celebs (including Nicole Kidman, Di Caprio, …) But overall it was a great experience

It's ok...takes up to 45 mins to get around unless you are in front of people who take a million selfies 😋😋 Lots of cool Aussie icons as well as a mix of international celebs and of course, Royal Family. I'm sure kids would love it as there is a Batman/Spiderman section. You can also have your hands waxed (for a fee) although there was probably an hour wait with one person serving (and wasn't in any rush despite the building line of people).

This has been the best inside attraction so far in Sydney. Much better than I expected. A lot more than it saids in others reviews and so good quality of the Vax figures. Such a good surprise and time there. So realistic.. I'd had an amazing time with Vanessa taking pictures if me. So helpful. Really an extraordinary place to be on Sydney. For sure one of my best memories of Sydney. Thanks. Must visit!

One word: amazing! We had high expectations for Madame Tussaud’s having heard so much about it and they were surpassed. There were heaps of different sections with lots of celebrities to look at and take photos with. Overall, it was heaps of fun.

  • 5/5 Erick T. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommended to visit if you have a couple of hours in Sydney. You'll definitely get to take so much pictures and staff are more than happy to help as well. Only downside is that if there's a lot of people, you might feel rushed taking the photo especially if there's a character you really want. Some areas are dim as well so prepare for that. Other than those, it's a great visit. Would recommend getting the whole experience package (with aquarium, zoo and eye) if you plan on doing the whole experience anyway as buying individually can get expensive.

  • 5/5 Guru P. 1 year ago on Google
Madame Tussauds Sydney is by far one of the unmissable places in the country, for this is just one of its kind in Oceania. We visited on a busy day yet the whole experience was surreal. The exhibits and figures of range of personalities were simply unbelievable, as a visitor you could relax, enjoy the meticulous details of the figures & click tons photographs. The exhibits of several world leaders, sport personalities, popular fiction characters, Hollywood actors, scientists and the list is endless. The entry into the Museum was frictionless, and kids had a fun & educative time inside museum. A must if you visit Sydney! Lots of famous wax creations everywhere! People inside happy to take photos for you and the wax figures are amazing! I actually thought it was Burt Newton's twin!

This place is awesome. We spent an hour here taking pics and marvelling at all the different people. We bought the 4 ticket option in advance and flew through all 3 places you can visit. Well worth seeing

Me and my Mum had a blast in this place. It was so fun to take photos of the wax people who looked so real. Also, they have great music in the background and amazing staff as well. Mulan and Ben were very helpful and informative. :) definitely had a great time!

Amazing Easy to walk around. Can become loud if you have someone that doesn't like load noise. Easy for people in wheelchair or walking frame

A big thank you to the Madam Tussauds tour guides, Eugene and Aurora. Your hospitality was vibrant and friendly. The details and realism of famous celebrities replicated in wax in this place is mind blowing. The exhibition is wonderfully complimented with enthusiasm, engagement and knowledge of the tour guides and staff. Please don’t tell me that Elvis (Presley) has left the building.

A little kitsch, but was surprisingly fun. The fact that you can interact with all exhibits and even some are set up for great photo opportunities makes for a brilliant experience. We definitely warmed up as we went through with the photos at the end far better than just the boring poses we started with.

With the release of Harry styles wax figure, they launched a dance party at Madam Tussards. We were also able to go through the museum, which was a unique fun experience with lots of photo opportunities and elements of interaction, for more value for money I'd recommend bundling up the packages for Sydney wildlife zoo and Sealife as they're right there. Nice for a family outing or a bunch of friends

Smaller than I expected. Also I heard from past visitors, some wax had been removed. However, it’s a fun place to be in with friends and family.

Madame Tussauds is everywhere now in the world. I'm from India, it's even there. The wax statues vary from locations. I visited this one some time back and it is amazing. The finishing of the statues is just breathtaking. You can feel the abs of your fav crush 😅 I even got a chance to meet the person who made one of the statutes and he told me, made me feel it. It was amazing 😍 Royal family statues, Ryan Gosling, Gandhiji, Shahrukh Khan etc. Definitely worth a visit! Kudos 👏

This was so fun and lovely. I miss how it was when I first came here before it originally opened (my dad got a pass through a friend and we came weeks before it opened to the public). It was incredible then and it’s pretty great now! I didn’t know some of the younger pop stars in there but we did get lots of photos!

We had such a GREAT day at Madame Tussaud’s recently. It was so easy to book online, entry was seamless and the staff there were AMAZING! So helpful, knowledgeable and so enthusiastic and engaging when chatting to us about the process of making the models. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

One of the best experience we had today at Madame Tussauds. Since it was a weekend there was no rush and we had had seamless entry and exit. Detailing on all the statues were mind boggling. There was a gentleman from the team who helped clicking photos and directing us making sure we have good pics. unfortunately, I forgot to ask the name but please convey my thanks to him and all the staff members who have maintained this upto an international standard.
