A great little venue for local and emerging artists. There's ample parking in the attached off-street car park. However, if you want to have a decent bite to eat, it's best that you have something more substantial in Marrickville junction.

We went to see a live band and its a great venue for that.

We've been to the Great Club several times over the last few months and continue to keep coming back because it's such a great vibe and eclectic mix of music. Bar staff are great! Cocktail menu pays homage to the Great Clubs Greek heritage. Would highly recommend the Greek Island Ice Tea and the Ouzo Notia 🙌👌🍸🍹 Like a phoenix this place has risen from the ashes and is now selling out gigs every week! We will keep coming back over the summer as I know they've got plenty of great gigs coming up

Wow....what an absolutely outstanding venue! Had the privilege to be at The Great Club tonight for the Middle Kids secret pre album launch!! It was perfection! The staff are next level awesome, the venue is so quirky and unique, nothing else compares! Quiet little nooks with leather armchairs for chats if you're needing to relax, high bar stool table if u wanna be in the mix or table seating too if you want to sample their delightful food!! My new favourite place to be! 5* Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

New Favourite Venue in Town The place has such a welcoming vibe like your favourite aunt's house. The mix was solid flash back fashion sounds which really suited both the Venue and the crowd The service always had a smile and were happy to mix it up. The food was nice but rumour has it the menu will be evolving soon to suit the vibe and heritage of the building just a tad bit more Can't wait to go back and I know I will be as the variety on what's coming up is really like nothing else around.

Having attended the site over decades the latest iteration is a very cool addition to the live music scene in Sydney. Comfortable Covid safe set up, reasonable bar prices and options, and reasonable if limited food menu. Good acoustics make for a pleasant experience.

Great music venue in the ‘hood. The cocktails are delicious and so is the food. Menu has something for everyone. Really spacious, doesn’t feel crowded but also feels intimate. Looking forward to seeing more gigs here.

Saw a band playing in Yia Yia's Dive Bar, which is part of the club. Small room with a bar and great food.

Awesome spot for a gig! Great sound and atmosphere often has varying seating sections which is great if you go with a friend with access requirements. Also very cosy in winter which is so rare for Australian venues who keep doors open on cold nights!

Exploring Marrickville lands on friday night turned out great after three finds: 1. Veggie hot dog 2. Amazing sweet beer recommended by the staff (Because I almost always hate beer, sorry to disappoint) 3. CUMBIA BEBEEEE

The Great Club is such a fun and joyful experience – you can feel the love and passion behind it at every turn. Every corner is decorated so thoughtfully, weird quirky objects clustered everywhere. The drinks are *chef's kiss* and the live music BRINGS IT - good times great vibes indeed

The music room was good but would benefit from a setting of small tables rather than rows of seats. The limited drink range was annoying for a Coopets Sparkling Ale devotee.

We were there on Saturday night to watch our good friend, stand up comedian and big supporter for dementia Australia, at about 11:30 the band was playing, people were having a great time, when your manager rudely and without any notice pulled the power off from the band!!! We were promised that we had the hall till 12:15 to 12:30 the latest!! This angered the crowd!! It was rude and unprofessional and I can tell you a lot of people will not be coming back to this club!! Shame on the manager for his behaviour!!!……

Last night I attended this venue to see Casey Barnes with my partner. It was the best night we have had in a long time. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic from all staff members especially big shout out to Shelly who looked after us and made us feel welcomed. I had a good time here. You can watch live music and comedy on different nights and there are quite a few local beers. Good vibe.

Underwhelming experience for the most part sorry to say Great venue for music however the food service was woeful putting it mildly As a venue if u are going to do food you have to be fully committed If not don’t bother. Outsource it if necessary. It can really compromise your reputation

Great time here at the great club watching a few bands. Nice wide open space, so depending on the band, plenty of space to stand. Beer options are a little limited to mostly Young Henry's stuff which I don't mind, but would like a little more variety. Staff were very friendly and the club is a unique venue with much of its former decor and memorabilia still about which adds a cool vibe.

The So-So Club. A great venue for music with terrible food and spotty service. Just to be clear, I’m not picky at all; I’ll generally eat anything. But the pizza is like the bland frozen pizza you get from a box, mostly crust. They offer three varieties of chips, two of which I discovered they were out of AFTER I ordered them. We were one of the first parties to order and they were out of chips! Anyway, I love supporting music, I love supporting local business, please get it together. Ruined an otherwise fun night.

Attended a private function here, staff were fantastic in seeing to everyones needs and created such a warm and inviting space to enjoy live music. So good to see such a great venue thriving after all that's happened over the past few years.
