Avoid this lounge This is a complaint sent to the operators of this lounge. ‘Firstly to say the staff here in Sydney today have been delightful. Otherwise, we booked for 3 hrs and, with delayed flight, arrived 10am. Therefore only 2 hrs. The lounge closes at 12. Why do you open for such restricted hours? The food offering is very poor. Only uninspiring breakfast items. And those are limited. Why? Drinks OK but many notices about products not available Why? The lounge is grubby. Seating uncomfortable. The cost was UK £56.77 [for two]. A frequent user of business lounges, this is probably my worst experience over the last 25yrx and certainly the worst value for money. Photos are thoroughly misleading. I will be interested in your explanation of this abysmal offering. I have never asked for a refund such as this but you are charging a premium price for a sub-standard offering.’ I had a completely inadequate response from the company, essentially saying we should have raised issues with staff in the lounge - that would have been unfair as they had no control over the issues cited.

Not currently open which is disappointing. SkyTeam passengers flying business class, can not access this lounge due to closure. There are other lounges open, but, you can’t just access them without correct airline tickets or memberships. Very disappointed and Airline was not at all accomodating to provide an alternative. When is this lounge finally reopening. International travel has commenced out of Australia and i think an answer needs to be provided for reopening. Thanks

Delta sending their business class passengers here. Terribly basic and uncomfortable. Dry crusty breakfast on the buffet at 11:15am. No tomato juice to make a Bloody Mary. No lemons or limes for gin and tonic. Crackers but no cheese. This lounge is well below the minimum standard I’d expect for an international business lounge - Covid or not.

Small but lovely business class lounge. I appreciate it isn't as good as others abroad and is perhaps a bit small, but given the foot traffic it seems absolutely fine for me. Sipping a cool beer (albeit from the bottle, not on tap) and having some good food in a modern, relaxing environment. Staff have been friendly and helpful.

03 May 2022 Etihad airlines Business Class use this Plaza Lounge for all Business Class International passengers. Small, Zero interior design, zero ambiance, cheap furniture, minimum food & beverage and not good quality at all. Is this cost cutting plus restructuring? Totally disrespect their customers with the initial Airport transfer’s experience count down to negative zero! Shame on Etihad Airlines and their alliance partnership with Sydney Australia international Airport. No excuses whatsoever!

Arrived late morning, lounge relatively empty of passengers with one member of staff at reception and a quite stressed out member behind the bar. Every single table was overflowing with dirty cups, glasses and half eaten food. I sat with my beverage on my lap. The food on offer had seen better days, cold and unappealing. It was a couple of hours before it was refreshed. Lounge filled up quite quickly and when creaking at the seams I moved out to a seat in the concourse. There are many other paid options in the airport that are better than this. Overall a less than Premier experience and a poor start to a very long set of flights.

A general lounge where multiple airlines send customers when they don't have their own lounge. As a frequent Delta traveler, definitely not up to the Delta standard. About the only positive about the lounge was that it was a seating area not at the gate. Food quality was poor, I asked for orange juice and was told it was out on the bar. I replied first there's no glasses left , second the orange juice is empty. I was then provided begrudgingly a glass of orange juice. Rather than refill the orange juice they simply removed the container that held the orange juice about 30 minutes later. Several of the food items were also empty and the staff were making no attempts to refill them. There is only one men's room and it was closed for cleaning. I would say it is not at all like advertised on Delta's website.

Very friendly and service orientated staff that went the extra mile. I forgot some crucial items and realized it while here and the staff member immediately offered to meet my husband outside to help me not having to go back through passport and check-in. The lounge itself was perfect for what I needed, quiet with plenty food and drink and a nice view out to the planes.

Had to go here to get though emails in quiet because of a glitch in the Qantas system so couldn’t get into their lounge. Had to pay by the hour and definitely not worth the $72 for 2 hours - would ask for a refund and leave if there were any staff here. - Out of beer and some wines - No hot food and minimal selection of what is there, although it looks as though it’s been there a while - No tables being cleared and rubbish everywhere - Broken furniture and fittings - Dirty bathrooms - No beverage service with signs up saying they’ll be back but taking a long time - Staff trying their hardest but can only do that they can with what they have got Should have checked the reviews first! Avoid if you have to pay!!

it's a comfortable enough space. I believed they moved the lounge from previous place. was there for breakfast, there are ok food options including hot English food and congee. showers are available but the bathrooms need to be more regularly maintained. they seem to be understaffed. great airside views. the biggest downside is the barrista bar that seems to only have 1 person serving. big bottle neck lineup just to get hot water for tea. if they made things more efficient then maybe 4 stars.

This experience has been incredible all thanks to Crystal. She ensure our glasses were full and was not short on the banter. She should certainly be promoted to manager. This place wouldn’t run without her.

Do yourself a favour don’t Even go in!!! Dirty, disgusting, lack of choice, coffee is cold, no decaf, no skimmed milk, food beyond awful. Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid sky team should run their own lounge if they want to keep premium cabin passengers. It has to be the worst lounge I have EVER visited around the world. No diet or zero drinks. Appalling beyond all belief. Mc Donald’s would be better, hotter, fresher and disgusting.

Emirates business class ticket took me to this lounge, it’s a very small lounge with very bad customer service, no tasty food at all. Bar girls shout on you, will complain Emirates as well for the service we got.

Food & Bev Review! Breakfast was pretty decent. Entered at 10:30am on Friday, quite empty lounge. Good: Sausages, roast potatoes and barista made flat white was a nice touch. Especially with the view. Everything else was as you would expect. Good spot for quiet and nibbles overall!

More food options than before. Great Service and the hijabi chef helped patiently about my dietary option. Vegetarian laksa was so good. The Brand new look of the lounge is great and clean too. Thank you

Friendly staff and much better food than what’s available at Qantas lounges these days !

People are lovely, warm and friendly. Service doesn't survive just on smiles and banter. It needs physical energy to maintain the space. Arrived mid day for 6 hour booking and thought I would enjoy the food and ambience like any other lounges. Food is pretty average, noodles was tough to chew, tables left uncleaned especially seating areas and Floor are messy in most places with food crumbs above and below. Would have helped to keep it clean to make the place more welcoming. And finally the men's toilet was not cleaned and definetly far from being hygienic. Come one Plaza Premium Sydney- you should learn from Singapore Plaza premium lounge!

Plenty of seats, not many people. Options for breakfast are limited. Good view to watch the actions on tarmac.

Not bad, just not my favorite lounge experience! The lounge itself is fine, just nothing outstanding. Food, drinks and alcohol all present and accounted for, just average quality. I got a sparkling water and it was warm... wasn’t fabulous. That said there was some nice private rooms which would be great if you had younger kids etc.

Very quiet and tiny lounge. Food are nothing too special. Ok if you have complimentary passes but doesn’t worth 32 usd to come in. Only one staff at the reception and one at the bar. Quite a few tables inside have not been clean. The company need to give the receptionist a raise cause she was the one doing the cleaning. As well as making drinks when the one at the bar took his break.

Unfortunately, was declined an entry at the plaza premium lounge inspite of being a platinum card holder because apparently their system has not been updated! What a waste. The receptionist obviously did not even try to help, said I cant let you in asI wont have a proof as my system is not updated. Sorry mate, thats not my fault if your system is not updated. Please let the Amex people know u are not going to accept their members- People eventually end up paying because they have walked all the way there. Is this a trick?

  • 1/5 imran s. 1 year ago on Google
I was declined the entry as the lounge system was not updated with Amex details. Being platinum member we could not access the Sydney international plaza lounge. What a shame. The receptionist was not even able to help. Worst customer service. He knows that through Amex platinum we can access the lounge. However due to the fault with their machine, i was declined the entry. Rubbish service. Very disappointed.

Very quiet, spacious lounge with views of the import. High speed wifi and plenty of power points. Reasonable selection of both alcoholic and soft drinks along with several good hot dishes and a choices of salads and snack. Helpful staff.

Only one single shower at this lounge so there can be a bit of a wait. Food is very basic and there's a very small selection of it. A nice number of drinks to choose from. Comfy seating area with a nice selection of different seats.

Pretty great lounge. Very nice food options - sweet and sour pork, General Tsao's chicken, rice, chicken parm, etc. They also had nice cheeses, meats, and breads. They did not have free alcoholic drinks with our Priority Pass entrance. They had a bar that you could buy drinks at. There was ample seating and pleasant music. Our flight was delayed and we happily spent our time here.

Crowded, unwelcoming, dirty, bar stools were broken and uncomfortable. The coffee machines were constantly breaking and to add insult the china cups were not clean, so we were given paper cups. Food was so unappealing. Was only milky eggs, dried out noodles, under cooked bacon and later sloppy cold baked beans appeard. The cheese board was a complete insult. No choice of bread. The only thing edible were the pastries. The quality or lack off was widely spoken of by other travellers, the carpet was so filthy. Tables were very slow to be cleared. Location wise is not the best, it is very limited view of the airport, McDonald's has a better view.

Lots of cozy sitting spaces and outlets. I chose the room with the beanbags and a view of the tarmac. It was very quiet and clean when I came through. Booze selection was good. Food selection wasn't awesome, but it was free. :)
