Tried
the
Golden
Gully
when
visiting
Leichhardt,
it’s
a
short
walk
to
the
cinemas
and
shops
from
here.
The
venue
has
a
cool
small
bar
vibe
and
an
upstairs
dining
area.
I
wouldn’t
say
the
decor
is
mind
blowing
but
it’s
comfortable
enough.
The
menu
was
all
vegan,
which
was
a
nice
surprise
as
it
meant
we
could
try
the
tasting
course.
The
food
was
nice,
presented
in
a
fine
dining
fashion
and
without
too
much
manipulation
of
the
vegetables.
The
absolute
standout
were
the
variety
of
cheezy
sauces.
I
wish
there
table
bread
as
standard
so
I
could
eat
it
all
without
embarrassing
myself
by
using
a
fork.
The
prices
are
reasonable
enough,
you’re
not
paying
the
price
of
fine
dining
establishment
but
it
isn’t
cheap
either.
The
service
couldn’t
be
faulted,
the
food
was
fast
and
waitstaff
friendly
and
accommodating.
It’s
overall
a
pleasant
experience,
suitable
for
dates
and
mid
size
groups
too.
