Came in at 730pm Saturday was able to be seated upstairs. Asked for recommendations on cocktails and recommended Sugar Plum Daddy. Was a really nice and refreshing drink! Order light snacks. Salt and Pepper Potato scallops and babagaboush and bread. Both were excellent. Asked for additional bread and was obliged. Lovely and responsive friendly service. Great vibe and local drinking spot Leichhardt. $106 for 2 cocktails and 2 snacks. Takes Dine NSW vouchers.

Tried the Golden Gully when visiting Leichhardt, it’s a short walk to the cinemas and shops from here. The venue has a cool small bar vibe and an upstairs dining area. I wouldn’t say the decor is mind blowing but it’s comfortable enough. The menu was all vegan, which was a nice surprise as it meant we could try the tasting course. The food was nice, presented in a fine dining fashion and without too much manipulation of the vegetables. The absolute standout were the variety of cheezy sauces. I wish there table bread as standard so I could eat it all without embarrassing myself by using a fork. The prices are reasonable enough, you’re not paying the price of fine dining establishment but it isn’t cheap either. The service couldn’t be faulted, the food was fast and waitstaff friendly and accommodating. It’s overall a pleasant experience, suitable for dates and mid size groups too.

Great cocktails and share plates. Good date spot and probably one of the best bars in the inner west. 👌 Never take off the amazing hummus off the menu.

We had a great dinner lastnight and really enjoyed the service and ambience of Golden Gully too. We ordered the cauliflower bites (nice and crispy), brussel sprouts (delicious), Carrot lox (my favourite), smoked potato (carrots and buttery greens were great!). I would order all these again! We also had the salt and vinegar potato scallops (nice and crunchy) and the mushroom ragu (meaty texture, heavier meal). We really enjoyed all the mocktails you made us too. (3.5 stars) Golden Gully in Leichhardt are currently offering a four-course feed for $45. Their vegan dishes layer flavour with clever usage of smoke and char balanced by creamy elements like salted almond ricotta. Here it’s served with a spinach pesto and onion bruschetta. Brussels sprouts, charred leeks & cauliflower blossoms on cauliflower purée will help keep your greens intake up as you kick back with an Aussie Negroni ($20) in the buzzy space. Booking process is COVID-19 essential and done by sending them an Instagram message.

Had a lovely Valentine’s Day lunch here with friends and family and it was a relief to know that they cater well for vegans as there were two in our group. The service is very friendly and relaxed and the food is delicious. We will definitely come back.

We were so lucky to have our most recent member celebration here! The team at the Golden Gully were amazing! Super friendly, very chatty and happy to keep everyone well fed and their drinks full. The selection of wines, yummy food and beers were fantastic! I can't wait to have my next function here! Thanks team.

Easily the best vibe of any bar in the Inner West, let alone Sydney! My friends and I are definitely regulars now!

Discovered this cute, quiet 2-level bar last night. Vegan Winter whisky sour (sweet) and funky fruit salad (not sweet) cocktails were on point. Edamame guacamole and beetroot was great. Will try the vegan roll next time. Service was excellent. Thanks.

Great little bar, long may it reign. Atmosphere is funky and cool, people are fun and friendly, drinks are plentiful and varied, dogs are welcome and get lots of attention. An excellent place to hang.

The place is very nice, drinks and staff are awesome, unfortunately the music was so loud (and not il line with the vibe of the place/clients, really poor taste) that we could barely hear each other so we left as soon as we could. I'll give another chance for sure!

Golden Gully is a fantastic spot for a night out. The drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is lively and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Really good bar to come and have some good casual drinks, staff are really friendly and funny. Proper good cocktails that have been made with consideration. RING THE BELL btw haha
