Top quality lounge with world class service and food quality. The staff are always friendly and the lounge is never too busy which makes it worthwhile visiting to recharge and relax.

Great service. Nice amenities. The food is not the best. The omelette was raw and the pancakes were very plain. We asked for a black coffee and got a flat white instead. The seats by the restaurant are dirty with crumbs and falling apart on the ends. It’s an elegant lounge, but it could use a refurbishment.

Nice relaxing lounge to unwind before the flight. Friendly prompt service. Ordered a few dish’s & washed back with some champagne. The place was very busy however the meals came out quickly. Nice view of the airstrip.

I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is. Adequate selection of food and beverages. Very supportive reception staff, especially with the hyper anxious passengers who need assistance. One particular passenger unfortunately use the lounge like it is her own place. Did face time with loud voice over a half hour period.

Lovely and spacious lounge. I had a beautiful 20 min foot massage as soon as I got there and then sat down to enjoy a delicious made to order breakfast. Amazing start to my first time in first class. Hopefully I'll be back again.

If Brisbane lounge was disappointing, Sydney left me speechless! This place really needs maintenance and deep cleaning. This is actually the only aspect I could comment on as there is no food if any sort on offer? I saw water, alcohol and possibly coffee/ tea. Really sad picture. - correction, by the time I managed to find a suitable seat, some simplistic food appeared in the eating section. There was a selection THREE meals on offer and probably 100 hungry mouth to feed. Honestly, meals on wheels would probably present better.

Qantas airways continue to disappoint...pre COVID the lounge was well stocked with many food options...it clear Qantas cutting corners and cheaping out impacts the business lounge. Very limited food options and only enough for less than 10% of guests. Food goes so quickly and isn't replenished for an hour. I'm not sure how management think this will revive company..just over all disappointing and substandard. I got fed up and went to another lounge which was so much better...I'd advise Joyce to have a look at other lounges in Sydney airport.

Qantas is an absolute joke. Airplane filthy and broken. Worst international carrier. Makes air India look a treat. I was served a meal in a box like mc donalds on a $2k flight. Seat was covered in chewing gum. Horrible. I had to tape it myself.

Lovely and spacious lounge with a variety of a la carte food options. The cocktails were delicious, and the staff were super attentive. The whole lounge was very clean, including the amenities. There was a spa which was closed at the time of our visit. Overall, of the very good lounges that I have visited.

This is a beautiful lounge, with great views to runway and to the CBD buildings as well. Great range of food, and drinks. Showers available, and comfortable chairs and chaises to rest if you are spending long tome between flights. Staff was very friendly and attentive as well.

I was looked after by very professional and friendly staff at Qantas International Business Lounge. Lots of choices for food and drinks, a really good view looking at the arrival flights. I had access to PowerPoint, WiFi, and really good seats. Very relaxing and I enjoyed my stay here. How was your stay here? What did you enjoy?

One of the best international First Class lounges in the world, last visited in January 2020 just before COVID-19 shut this lounge and almost all regular international flights. As you would expect service was impeccable food and beverage options were like you would find in a top rated chef hatted restaurant. Eventhough I am more of a red wine man had to try a Champagne breakfast. Also could not pass on an eggs benedict as well as their famous Salt and Pepper Squid. #Qantas #QantasFirstClass #FirstClassLounge #QantasFirstClassLounge #AirlineLounge #QantasLounge #FirstClass

All nice and dandy until you find out the chef who’s cooking your breakfast wasn’t wearing a mask..well he “is” but the mask didn’t cover his mouth. This happened on the morning of 25/12 from 7am-9am and we were worried for the whole vacation that he’d pass on covid to us. Wondering why is the rule not enforced Qantas?

It was a great lounge and an awesome experience let down by slow service and poor airport experience. You would need at least a two hour layover to enjoy the best of the lounge as it's sit down restaurant style dining. It is great quality food but not some you would necessarily have time to enjoy on most flights. My rating is also inclusive of the entire ground experience I had which honestly was one of the worst I've had from Qantas. Considering Sydney is their main hub I was expecting better.

This has to be the best way to spend your time at the airport prior to boarding the plane. I’ve been coming here for quite a few years now and and every time the service is to the highest standard, great selection of meals and snacks and drinks, and ample room to relax or to socialise prior to your flight. I’m so happy to see that the level of service post pandemic has not suffered at all.

After 2 years, finally get to come back to the lounge. As of Apr '22, the spa is only available to First Class A380 passengers only, however I was told it will be open to more soon. The staff here are attentive and the environment is clean. Food was cooked well - arguably better than before the pandemic! The general vibe though is a bit dated compared to other lounges. Hopefully when things are back to normal, they will continue with their upgrade. In the meantime, it's one of the better ones there are in Sydney International Airport!

It has a relaxing atmosphere and fabulous space to wait out before your flight. It is very close to the boarding gate for the flight. It is really convenient there. ※There is the room for children play in as well. There is also a shower room so you can take your time and relax.

Best part of travelling is spending a little time in a lounge before your flight. You get to pig out in case the food on the flight is terrible and grab a quick shower to freshen up. The business lounge had a cool kids buffet with mini macaroni, sausage rolls and fairy bread. I got in trouble when I tried to steal some fairy bread. Not fair Qantas!!! I want some fairy bread too 😢😢

Visiting the Brisbane or Melbourne domestic lounges just makes you dread visiting the Sydney international lounge. Perpetually overcrowded, dated furniture and the service at the front counter needs to be refreshed also. we had some sort of duck curry presented, I took a piece and it was literally all bone. Considering the volume of flights out of Sydney, I would expect this lounge to be a flagship venue showcasing Australia’s best

It’s terrible one of the worst Qantas lounges, overcrowded with never any place to sit or work. Starting from checkin that is manual and creates long queues. Who does that anymore ? It’s 21st century. Introduce automated scan of boarding pass. Good selections are poor , place is filthy including bathrooms. The only positive thing is barista coffee.

It’s a first class lounge for Qantas but not the best one. Showing its age. Extensive food and drink menu. Very attentive and fast service. Don’t have the luxury feel compared to others. Can spent a good few hours there to relax and do some plane spotting rather then going down to the old, cramp and chaotic departure hall of the Sydney airport.

The Qantas business lounge is a bit average compared to the first lounge but it’s still good for passing time at the airport. There are a decent amount of seats available and for those that love wine, it’s a self pour along the bar tables. There are hot food option but grab something in one of the eateries scattered across the airport instead.

The Qantas International Business Lounge is certainly underwhelming and in desperate need of a refresh. Arrived mid morning to find that the lounge was overfilled. It took me 20 minutes to find a place to sit, and I ended up sharing a high table with a stranger. The person at the entrance counter was not friendly and the interaction was more of a transaction than a welcome to the lounge. When you enter the lounge you enter at the mid point, you can turn left or right. Going all the way to the left takes you to a dark room with dated chairs that gives hospital waiting room vibes - avoid this area. To the right is more dining tables in a more bright and airy atmosphere. And straight ahead of the entrance is a long dining table as well as a few high tables. I arrived during breakfast service and the choices at the buffet were fine. Nothing spectacular but the pastries were a good call out. The self-serve drinks station was well stocked and even had tomato juice and tabasco sauce to make your own Bloody Mary's, a nice touch - but that was ruined when they ran out of vodka and didn't replace it. The atmosphere during my visit was loud, noisy and busy. It felt like a high school dining hall than an airport business class lounge. Furniture was noticeably dated and worn and staff seemed overwhelmed. Visiting the lounge is part of the Qantas business class experience. If relaxing in a nice environment prior to your flight is an important factor, then you should consider other airlines as this lounge is not a nice environment to spend your time in.

The view from this lounge is pretty good and you can see Sydney stretching from Chatswood to Woollloomoloo. The seating quality varies with the hard seating being fine and the soft seating being well past the "use by date". Get new seats Qantas. The food isn't the greatest but it's airline food so that's to be expected Coffee machines were out of order when I visited but there was a barista who made good coffee (and terrible tea). The food could have been better labelled as both my wife and I chose a pumpkin dish thinking that it was the lamb one. Cakes were also quite dry. The drinks are great however and this makes it all worthwhile. You can mix your own and all of the key mixers are available - and decent brands too. Many of the tables offer power points but they are for normal power. Qantas would be advised to add powered USB outlets as an improvement. There is free wi-fi and it's good quality. Toilets are available and are very clean and a significant improvement on the cattle class toilets downstairs. They're also fitted with hand cream. If there's a chance that you will need to hang around waiting for a flight, it's much better to be here than outside unless you are hankering for tasty food.

Nice decor and seating options. Only one food station was open at 8.30am and the lounge was full. They had to open a back room door to cater to all the people. There was no bircher muesli available (even though on the menu) and it wasn't replenished in the 15 min I was there. Only baked beans (almost none left), sausage, bacon, and toast available. There were some lovely pastries and fruit also. There is wine, beer, spirits, cider, juice (watered down), and coffee. I think if the food had been managed better I would have given it 5 stars.

Fabulous space to wait out and relax before your flight! Space itself is open and well appointed, plenty of space and chairs for relaxing, working and plane spotting. There is multiple well appointed bars and wine points, USB and power points for charging phones and working the hours away. There is food locations throughout the lounge, but I did find the spread somewhat limited. Nothing tickled my fancy so I just waited for the flight. Overall, a great place to wait out the time before your next international flight!

Don’t bother even trying for a spa appointment if you’re not flying Qantas First and they didn’t call you the night before for an appointment. In all my years of coming here I’ve never been able to get in no matter how long I’m in the lounge for. Furniture looking like it could be ready for a refresh. Still one of the top ten lounges in the world just for the amazing made to order restaurant meal service. It is solid.

Great spot to relax and while away the hours before or between flights. Great menu, table service, decent wine list and a fabulous view of Sydney in the distance... you do need to book spa treatments otherwise plenty of space to get away from it all...

It’s pretty hard to leave when Qantas make a space like this. Stunning views over the airport through to the Sydney CBD and of course the hive of activity that constitutes an airport. The staff are amazing… well drilled respectful courteous and friendly. The food is always seasonal and well cooked. So much better than your typical airport fare. I highly recommend this lounge if you can get into it.

In terms of service quality, Business Class in Sydney surpasses this lounge. While the food is flavourful, the portions are smaller than usual in Australia. However, the positives stop there. When comparing the wine selection and other amenities to lounges worldwide and other One World Lounges, this lounge falls short. It is recommended to conduct an overall assessment and enhance staff training to improve the overall experience.

Lounge is in dire need of an up date! The whole place just looks very tired. Definitely not up to the Qantas standard of lounges that they have overseas. Selection of food is OK and they have barista made coffee. Not horrible but expect more from Qantas, Sydney should have their best lounge experience not this...

Great spa staff but book early. Seated dinning that is fantastic but no buffet offering. Does get busy starting noon but plenty of seats available. Killer views of Sydney and the runway. Worth getting to the airport early for. They have two office spaces that can be used for working privately

Getting in is the hardest part. Once you're in it's one of the most relaxing experiences you can have prior to an international flight. I visited here in the morning on a recent business trip. The breakfast was satisfying yet light. The IT area allowed me to catch up on some last minute errands and printing. Bathrooms are individual room styled cubicles. All in all worth coming in just to relax, clear your head and chase up a few errands if need be.

My wife and I were denied access to QANTAS First Class Longe today. We were traveling on Air Fiji and the lounge staff told me were not able to enter the lounge. Dispute being a Qantas Platinum member we were told we could not come in as Fiji Airways was not part of One World Alliance and there was no Qantas code share flight number Qantas is wrong on both counts Fiji Airlines had been a One Word member since 2018 and the flight we are on has a QF code share flight number of QF3869 Seems like Qantas just did not want to slow access as the staff seems to have lied to us Poor show Qantas you really need to lift your game in trying times we find ourselves in at the moment

As a frequent flyer, most lounges look and feel the same where ever you go; but this one is different for all the right reasons. Lots of space with well thought out areas to rest and watch a busy airport in action, or to get some work done before you jet out to somewhere International and exotic. The all day dining menu is a treat and the service is very good without being in your face. It's easy to say that as the home hub of Qantas you shouldn't expect anything less, but sadly not all home hubs are created equal. Hats of to the Flying Kangaroo on this one. If you ever get the chance to experience it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

This is the best Qantas First Class Lounge that I have been to. I came through many years ago and the living plant wall is still a welcoming feature. The staff are delightful.

Useful, practical and well maintained lounge. Good food options. Variety of beverage options too. (Alcoholic and non alcoholic. ) Showers is a plus before a long flight.Good coffee . Friendly staff most of the time. 🙂

Pretty good lounge. They have fresh and delicious food. Every one could find something to eat. They also have vegetarian dishes and sweets (I saw red velvet and muffins). There is a also a barista to make a fresh coffee. Highly recommend this place for singles and families.

The Qantas Business lounge is always a welcome sight. Great food and amenities about. It has spacious room with decent views of the city and runways. I can get work done or just relax with a drink or two. The staff are accommodating and friendly. If you can, don't let is pass you by.

The First class lounge is currently open for all first and business passengers. The service and the food are excellent. I have the signature salt & pepper squid and the pavlova and they’re so yummm!

Pretty good but getting a bit old (heard they will renovate towards the end of 2018). Was quite busy on a Saturday evening, but there were still some tables and chairs available. Had to wait about 5 minutes to use the showers. Food and drinks were decent but a little behind some other Qantas lounges, i.e. the Hong Kong Qantas lounge.

  • 3/5 Hana Marra M. 1 year ago on Google
Good place to sit and wait for your flight. Staff were excellent. Chairs are not very comfortable and a lot of them sink in very far. Food options are nice but very limited at night time. Not worth the hype

  • 1/5 Jeff S. 1 year ago on Google
Qantas and its cost cutting really fail in every aspect in trying to delivery a business class product and they sydney international when files dismally in almost all areas. The lounge is very old and outdated & should have been gutted and refitted during the pandemic. It had some very poor quality breakfast items which was served at dangerously unsafe temperatures and then breach of health regulations and nova hot food with bailey lukewarm and numerous customers commented on have called the food was and have ridiculous it was. The breakfast food set there until after midnight which was also ridiculous. There was an extremely limited selection and choice the pourers on the alcoholic beverages with old tarnished warn and should have been disposed of. The toilets were clean but the land itself does not measure up to business lounges by competitor airlines and there is nothing impressive about it i would give it a 1 out of 10

  • 4/5 Ryan D. 1 year ago on Google
Really good food and alcohol selection, could have more power outlets. Carpet dirty at times Overall the food is quite nice and the staff are attentive. I was offered a nice chicken sandwich when I was inside and there is a variety of different country cuisines however they do some better than others. Needs a quick freshen up since the Sydney lounges were one of the first and most innovative at the time but now not so much... Would recommend a club membership if u don't already hold QFF gold+ if u travel a good amount.

As far as lounges are concerned, this one is quite average. Good place to get a very good coffee, some small snack (I was there in the morning) and wait for a short while. Showers are available. If travelling on your own, the bathroom cubicles in the middle are bigger, so I could wheel in my carry on.

  • 3/5 Anne-Maree 1 year ago on Google
The coffee was really good and much needed, the food served was pretty good. However the lounge itself is screaming to be updated. The carpet was messy and depressing the lounges itself were worn out, heavily sunken in and just messy looking. Plus point the toilets were clean.

  • 3/5 Yev 1 year ago on Google
This is a pretty average facility. All the sofas with access to PowerPoints are very limited and always seem taken. Staff very limited and facilities pretty ordinary. Just doesn't feel that comfortable.

Missed this lounge, very comfortable, staff is excellent and always enjoy the sit down meal service. Didn’t check to see if the masseuse was on duty or if they’re still doing massages with Covid still lingering. Definitely worth getting early to the airport for!
