Great atmosphere with a local club vibe. The staff were super friendly and accomodated the kids in our group. The food servings are large and great value for money. We had a mix of pasta, pizza, and other dishes. All were great. We will definitely return here many times! Highly recommended!

Went down with the family to try the Italian food inside the golf club and was not disappointed. The food is fantastic, and great value for money. We ended up trying a couple of the share platters and getting the kids the spag bol. The must try dish was the house made gnocchi, which is amazing with its creamy sauce. The ladies that served us were very attentive and helpful with their service.

The most amazing Italian food and the best people here at the restaurant and the club . I’m only fairly new to the area and thankful I found this gem last year, , we absolutely love it here and it’s my absolute favourite place to dine, my local. Thanks so being wonderful dai Romani

Update: Due to the golf club, the restaurant has had to reduce its menu. Still serving delicious pizzas and pastas with amazing service, but most of the mains are gone. A couple of entrees remain, and they are fabulous (especially the octopus and garlic or chilli prawns!) Tasty food and very friendly and attentive service. Only reason it's not 5 starts is the atmosphere is very RSL... Great meal - will definitely return

What an absolute gem of restaurant hidden in Petersham RSL club. The food was 5 star and club price drinks to go along with it. Service and people are fantastic, cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back, thank you for a lovely dinner.

I was attending a wedding and also helping to organise the event. To say the staff were amazing is an understatement! Their attention to detail, attitudes and general approach was beyond fantastic! The food, everybody raved about the food, and the kitchen was so incredibly accommodating for our group of over 100 guests and there was more than enough to go around. Owners, chefs, managers and bar staff should be proud - it was a fantastic event!

A great experience!!! I invited my parents to have a lunch at Dai Roman restaurant. The weather was so nice, we took a lot of pictures at the opposite golf. Moreover, the food here is very impressive. It is not only beautiful in appearance but also very tasty. We tried some dishes: - The Shrimp Garlic: Shrimp is very fresh, soaked in the sauce of butter and garlic, served with crispy toasts. Perfect duo! - The Garlic pizza with lots of cheese: The pizza base is not too thick and very crispy but soft when absorbing the garlic sauce and cheese. The kids really enjoyed to make cheese longer and longer. - The T bone steak with mushroom sauce: The sauce is especially delicious with aromatic and greasy taste. The piece of steak inside the sauce is perfect. - The dessert with ice cream in a lemon: Creamy lemon flavor is very smooth. I tried 1 spoon and I really want to eat another one immediately. The cream with little sour helped balance our meal. An ending could not have been better. My father said this is the best Italian restaurant he has ever eaten.

Highly recommend Dai Romani. Have tried multiple dishes from here and all have been excellent. Highlights for me are the Chicken Parmigiana, Calamari, Pizza and salad but their prawns and seafood pasta and all pasta in general is amazing too. Everything is always fresh and full of flavour and staff are lovely with exceptional service. Located inside Marrickville golf club, it might not be the flashiest of environments and it certainly isn’t one of the most visible locations, but I assure you it is worth it. And Did I mention the bar?

My husband and I absolutely love Dai Romani for their authentic and high quality Italian food. We always walk away so full because we can’t bear the thought of not finishing our food. We absolutely love the octopus, calamari and any of the pastas. This is some of the best Italian food you’ll eat without the crazy price tags (albeit they could absolutely charge it for the quality & we would still go back).

This is our favorite Italian restaurant. Spagetti, Hand made Pizza, We can only recommend as perfect.

Cheap, cheerful and charming. Such a delicious meal for an excellent price. My friend and I ordered enough for 4ppl and loved every dish. Service super friendly we felt right at home and lots of doggies came to say hello :)

Amazing! The pizza was perfect, the garlic prawn tasted yummy, the gnocchi gorgonzola were so tasteful, the service was great! I had a good time there! I recommend it and will definitely be back soon!

Best gnocchi Gorgonzola I have ever had.... soft light pillows of deliciousness blanketed in a velvet creamy sauce. The calamari, bruscetta and prawns we had to start were great too. Aaaannnddd the waitress was just the sweetest!

Very good food at a great price. I love the grilled octopus and the Napolitana pizza. The staff are super friendly and plenty of parking in the golf course grounds.

My partner and I went there based on the good reviews and I am glad we did. We ordered the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, which was silky smooth and delicious. The Vegetarian Pizza withgluten free base and the rocket, parmesan and balsamic salad. It was all very nice and I felt very welcomed by the staff. The bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I loved the whole experience, the food and service are top notch. I shall be returning and bringing my friends.
