Pro tip: turn down your sandwich press and cook it a little longer on a lower heat you muppets. What a waste of time and money.

Ordered take away and received microwaved food that was stuck to the box. Disgusting quality and whoever served this shouldn’t have a job in hospitality. If the owners see this please know that staff are tarnishing the once solid reputation of this venue and need to be monitored closely.

They burnt our take away quesadillas and then turned the burnt side to the bottom of the pack to try and hide it. Was so greasy and burnt that we couldn't eat it ended up having to cook something else. Avoid this place

Nighthawk diner has amazing food, run by people who are passionate about what they do. The tacos were juicy and flavoursome. I'd definitely recommend the beef brisket but the eggplant one was surprisingly delicious as well, providing a great alternative for vegetarians. The fries were super crunchy and thin, like McDonalds fries but 10x more crispy and fresh. Overall, great place to hit up with friends for a chill feed.

We have nighthawk diner at our wedding last weekend. We knew from our tasting that the food was excellent but was confirmed the night of our wedding when every single person commented on the taste of the food (shoutout to the cheeseburger). The entire experience with The Nighthawk Diner was amazing from the start Abigail was helpful and answered all the questions we had. I had a chat to Al and he made us feel confident in choosing The Nighthawk Diner for our wedding catering and ensured me I could contact him at any time with any concerns. The menu options were plenty with everything tasting good. The Nighthawk team were also very accommodating with dietary restrictions. I'm. still dreaming about the food and look forward to working with The Nighthawk Diner in the future!

The best cheese gravy fries!!! I absolutely loved this place. Burgers are up there with the best of em around Sydney. Service is good, vibe is perfect. Definitely worth the calories, time and money!

Freaking awesome Tacos!!! The crunchy eggplant Tacos are an absolute must! The Miami Cuban sandwich is a perfect example of how to make a milk bun sandwich (normally not a fan, but it definitely worked here). I'm looking forward to coming back and working my way through the rest of the menu.

Nighthawk catered our wedding and they were a dream! Through postponements and ever changing dietaries, they were super helpful and responsive and everyone raved about the food on the day 🙏🏼 I hope I get to enjoy the food again in the future!!

Cocktails were not up to scratch but given that it was at happy hour price I will let it slide. Burgers tasted nice but a little pricey compared to other good burger places around Sydney. Service was good and order didn't take long.

Tasty American fare with a diner cum warehouse motif. Tacos were large and very flavourful.

When we got engaged, we knew we wanted food truck catering for our wedding. What we didn't realise is how difficult that would be to find in Sydney. The Nighthawk Diner were our saving grace with their Tacohawk truck - they worked with us to figure out the logistics of food truck service for two different venues (one fell through) and I could not be happier with the results! The tasting was the most fun, romantic element of wedding planning HANDS DOWN and had us eating - and loving - things we'd usually never try. My husband actually proposed a second time as we left, that's how much fun we had. I am so grateful to my day-of coordinator who stalked me on the wedding day until I ordered food. One bite of my Miami Cuban and I was yelling at my guests "Are you guys eating this?! This is SO good!" I had some slight administrative frustrations getting details confirmed ahead of the day - e.g. we were originally underquoted 12+ months ahead of the wedding and the error was not picked up or the quote adjusted until less than 6 months out - but this was compensated with a discount and once I was able to speak to Celeste by phone about a week ahead of the event she answered all my outstanding questions and left me feeling very confident. Thank you Nighthawk for an INCREDIBLE food and bar experience. My only regret is being too busy and too anxious to eat more! P.S. their vegan/gluten free donuts were even better than the regular recipe. If I was ordering again I'd skip the "normal" recipe donuts and get them all vegan/gluten free, more lemon and poppyseed for me!!!

Exceptionally poor service and response (i.e no response) to complaint. We had Nighthwak cater for our wedding and had numerous issues: 1. We had 6 items (excluding dessert) on our run sheet (made by Nighthawk). 3 items to be served during cocktail and then all 6 served during mains service. They served 3 during the cocktail our and then only 3 different items during mains. 2. Again on their run sheet - agreement was to serve kids non-spicy food first. Nighthawk did not do this and had to be asked 3 times before they served the kids. 3. Agreed to have a snack table - they did not do this 4. We paid for wait staff for table service and provided a seating chart to serve people with allergies. Wait staff did not service those with allergies. When questioned they stated they did not receive the seating chart and then when we emailed it to them they said oh yeah we received but it's too difficult to serve different people. They than said just tell them to come to the truck - it was clear this was a seated event and we paid a lot extra for wait staff. Services of those with allergies was again on their own run sheet. 5. Rude waitstaff made some of the kids cry on the day 6. Poor response to complaints - insinuated we are racist and did not consider the diverse background of waitstaff We have had to escalate to a fair trading complaint as Nighhawk have not responded to a request to resolve the complaint.

Had the Cubano! Outside of the restaurants choice of cheese (American, not Swiss as comes with the usual Cubano), it was a great place to eat!

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
