The moment I walked into the hotel, I was welcomed by a staff member with a breathtaking smile. From that moment on, I knew I was in the right place. The services were great, WiFi and Netflix services are on point and I really enjoyed spending the weekend there. Don't believe me? See it for yourself 🙂

Ee stayed the night here after a late flight into Sydney. Close to car rentals for our drive to the country. Surprisingly quiet. It is very clean tidy with all the facilities for comfort.

Very convenient for me for a quick trip to southern Sydney. Room was basic but very neat and tidy. Can't book parking online, but I was able to park on the street almost out front, initially at 3pm to book in then again at 8pm after going out to dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had 2 cancelled flights from Jetstar in the evening and the morning, the ladies at reception during the day and evining were exceptional in helping us through this tough time. They helped us order the Jetstar accomodated food, gave us a couple more hours to check out and organise shuttles to the airport, I would give them a five-star anytime. Amazing work.

This apartment hotel is located within 5-10 away from Sydney airport in a convenient place within 10 minutes walk from the Mascot Station. The rooms are spacious and facilities are more than adequate. I appreciate the friendly front office staff employed by the new mgmt. During our October 5-17 stay we enjoyed the excellent facilities at Quest Mascot. We had some issues with cleaning staff but after reporting it was promptly responded by the management quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Quest Mascot in our next visit to Sydney. Dr Sunil Govinnage Perth, Australia

Let's begin with, I emailed the place stating I was arriving at 7:30am on the day of my booking to see if I could leave my bag at reception until my check-in time (2pm). Didn't receive any response, and to my surprise, when I arrived I found that staffed hours only go from 8am-10pm (and safe to say, the website doesn't really clarify this information, at least not on an easy way for the guest to KNOW beforehand). Anyway, there is an "after-hours" phone number on the door, I call. The lady says she can't help me getting in and will have to wait until 8am when someone shows up to open the door for me. Not so good start so far.. 8am, I get in, leave my bag and ask if I could use a restroom before heading to my commitments of the day.. the hotel does not provide a lobby restroom people can use until getting access to their room (6 hours away from that point). Left and came back at 2pm to check-in. Get my room key, go upstairs, unlock the door and I see 2 people sitting in the table having a meeting. Seriously?! It doesn't get more unprofessional than this. Oh no, wait, it does. 11pm, hotel reception is unattended, a group of people 2 rooms away from mine are having a big gathering (on a Tuesday night), door is open, music is loud and voices are louder than normal tolerance. No one from the hotel to call to make this situation stop. Had to go myself and knock on their door to ask them to lower it, obviously they didn't, hence a great night of sleep.. To top it all up, the room was old, not maintained and with stains everywhere (happy to provide photos on this). My worst money spent on a single night in Sydney. Wasn't expecting this experience out of this place.. Can't wait to see what's the professional response to this claim.. Thanks a lot.

If I could give this hotel a 0 star rating, I would. Our group booked this hotel for three days, and one of the days they haven’t done any housekeeping and the day that they actually did do it, they’ve only fixed the beds and replaced the towels, no vacuuming was done, and bathrooms were dirty. Quest is simply too cheap to repair and restore the bathroom, when you shower, a puddle will literally form on the floor OUTSIDE the shower. Who wants to come out fresh out the shower just to have a bath?!! We’ve requested doonas as the couch mattress was the most unequivocally uncomfortable place to sleep, woke up with extra sore shoulders, and they haven’t provided us the doonas EVEN after requesting it multiple times. Overall, the service provided was utterly unacceptable for the price that we have paid, if you’re looking for an adequate hotel experience while your stay in sydney, whatever you do, do NOT choose Quest.

Quest Mascot was recommended to me by Quest North Sydney because they don’t have room available for Pet friendly. We have pay upfront for booking at Quest Mascot and on arrival the receptionist said we need to pay an extra $150 for cleaning and $35 for pet handling. I told her we have stayed at other Quest and only pay $35 for pet handling. I also showed her the email communication I got from Quest mascot stating there will be a pet staying and no $150 charge on it. I also said I show her receipt the I got from another Quest and there actual website stated there no $150 cleaning fees mentioned. After all that she charge me $35. Our room was on the ground floor which is fine because we only stayed for 1 night. The room smell bad, adding to that the table was not cleaned, shower leaking and no bath towels on our arrival. I asked the receptionist about the towels she said it’s will arrive in an hour. This is our first experience checking into 4 stars property and no towels on arrival. In the morning when we ask for dental kit is $3 for 1 kit. Which make my partner and I laugh so much because this is first time we got charge for surcharge everything extra when staying at Quest apartment. In the end we pay $296 for the room during booking and still got surcharge.

The Quest Mascot was a pretty good temporary stay. They designed the room pretty good, it isn't very big but it feels very spacious. The only reason I would stay here again would be if I was going to the airport, which causes problems, like noise, it isn't that annoying, but if you are a light sleeper it could be. The service wasn't too bad, they kept making mistakes thinking we didn't book another night, it was all resolved easily as soon as the other person at the desk solved the issue. Area is alright too but if you are here mainly for restaurants I'd skip this one, but if you were coming here to go to the airport, than for sure stay here.

Staff was fantastic, but the room had no towels, stains in the sheets with what looks like blood and duvee was very heavily stained. Towel rack was broken also. Otherwise, the location to the airport is excellent and about a 10-minute walk to the train. 1bd apartment is roomy with laundry in unit and decent kichen. Couch and carpets need a refresh and have several stains in them. Emergency and after-hours contact numbers were also not in service.

This property is the worst quest property in the quest network. This is coming from me someone who worked for quest apartments for over 8 years. I put my mother to stay here for a night and the experience was so poor my mother was left crying, police had to come in and I had to book the Mantra so my mother get some rest. The Management is extremely racist towards black people, they told my mother her kind should not stay at their rooms, the staff are rude and they lie about their rooms. I will never use this Quest property and I will be emailing David Mansfield and the Ascot Group about this. This franchisee does not deserve a quest property.

Extremely poor condition of room. Assigned room had large holes punched in the wall that had tape attempting to cover it up which had fallen off. Shower had rust all through it where shower fittings had broken off. NO HOT WATER. A/C remotely controlled from front desk and local control taken away. Cannot sleep while covered in sweat due to the heating being cranked up at the desk. Workmates room had permanent leak from shower bouncing off the roof and raining on you while sitting on the toilet. When front desk and management were approached about these issues we were blatantly lied to in regards to the A/C (an issue we had raised and discussed 6 months earlier!) and given many blank looks with next to no response. Then lied to again when management stated the room was issued in error regardless of the fact that it was specifically prepared and allocated in advance for this booking due to day sleeping shift workers who regularly book this hotel. We have been regular corporate customers to this hotel for years without issue and previously would highly recommend it. However when the ownership of this place changed hands approximately 6 months ago the condition of the rooms and the customer service has significantly gone down hill. The room I was issued was not in a suitable condition for anyone to stay in and is disgusting that the management would charge for that sort of accommodation. I doubt the managers and owners would see it acceptable in their own home to have no hot water, holes in the wall and the heater permanently set on 28 degrees! Yet they have the audacity to expect other people to pay for this and then be brushed off and given blank looks in response!

We stayed at Quest Mascot for 2 nights with family. We had room 505A and B. On a hot Sydney day, the AC was turned to heating. There were no controls to change that in the room. We approached the reception and a gentleman helped by turning it to cooling from a control at reception. He said the change to heat/cool can be done by someone at reception only. Everything was ok for the first day and night. On the second night at 1 AM in the morning, we woke up sweating. On checking the temperature control, the setting had changed to heating. The room was extremely hot and we were flushing in the heat. On calling the after hours reception, a lady picked up and literally 'barked' at us for calling her at that hour. She asked us to turn the unit off and that nothing can be done. We checked out early in the morning, we hardly slept through the night, with a young child and elderly parents, it was a sad state of affairs by Mascot team. Never again will we stay there.

"I've stayed at a Quest Apartment Hotel for several times and I'm so impressed. The staff were so welcoming and helpful with anything I needed, the location is perfect and easy to get to, there are laundry facilities which was great as travelling with hand luggage can be tricky! Overall it's always a pleasant stay.

0 stars for cleanliness. Check your beds and pillows! The covers might look clean on the surface but there are a lot of yellow and even green stains underneath the covers. Quest Mascot does not have any actual queen sized beds. Their queen sized beds are two single sized beds put together side by side so it's impossible to sleep in the centre of the bed if this is what you prefer. When I asked reception they said that all their queen sized beds are like that but it was not mentioned on the website prior to booking.

Close to restaurants, clean self-contained rooms. Room includes cereal for breakfast. Shuttle bus to the airport is available for $10 per person. Takes the stress out of getting to the airport knowing you are close by.

Have stayed in Quest before, although first time at Mascot. This hotel only just gets my 3 star rating. It's tired, the shower door was missing and carpets stained (both in room & corridors), but bed and general cleaning were good. Worth the rate charged? Maybe.

  • 2/5 Simon H. 7 months ago on Google
The room was ok, but 2/3 of the carpet in the living room was either damp or just plain wet, and the smell was ordinary. When I mentioned it to reception, they were pleasant but not keen to do anything about it. Catching a plane the next day, the location was excellent. It's a bit noisy, but that's to be expected so close to the airport.

Basic but ok for the price. Wifi did not work, and it wasn't fixed by the tome we left. Heating temperature cannot be regulated, it is set by the reception for the entire building and they cannot change it by room. Location was great for travel as it is walking distance to the airport.

The rooms are very compact. There is no access from main road. Building not very accessible. Can't access underground car park without someone manually opening the roller gate. Very limited space. The air con doesn't work most of the times and it can't be regulated. No restaurants in walkin distance.

  • 3/5 Cath H. 7 months ago on Google
Room had a bad smell. 3/4 of the carpet was wet/damp in the living area. Bed was really comfy and the location perfect.

Nothing close in the way of shops so no snacks for 2 days. Some restaurants but it's too far for old legs. Our room was clean but a little outdated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice, but I pulled out the couch and an old doona was in it, and a blood stain on the mattress from a period without a bottom sheet and mattress protector, just an old doona and blood stained mattress. also, the lights and air-conditioning turn off at 9 pm, so you can only use the lamps and stove lights. The windows also don’t open. semi clean in important places with no lights after 9pm but has an oven and stove with pans and a nice room: just a bit dirty inside the couch and no lights

The cleanliness was up to standard and the front desk staff, particularly Woody, was very friendly and helpful in providing site tour information. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers visiting Sydney.

Located at a very busy intersection. After two nights in a quiet area the road noise was a little confronting. Great location as it is walking distance from Mascot Station and walking distance to airport. Two bedroom apartment was fabulous for our party of four. En suite, separate bathroom, kitchenette, oven, microwave, fridge with separate freezer, kettle, safe.

The staff at Reception are so polite, well mannered, welcoming, helpful, cleaning staff have wonderful bed making skills& are quite trustworthy regarding personal property and items left in room when they come to service it if you are not checking out but the surface cleaning such as door handles light switches general surfaces are not quiet up to the same standard as everything else they do but they allow/permit dogs and even provided food and water bowls for my lovely four-legged boss / puppy overall more than happy with with the standard of quality the hotel in general

I’ve been staying here the last few months with my family and it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve come across The staff were polite and not just here and there but consistently. The atmosphere was always so alive and happening in a good way of course. The shops were literally a 5 minuet walk not even up the road, well really you had options main mascot which consisted of IGA, Cintotta chemist and quite a large variety of places to eat. Also a little local supermarket is just across the road a minute walk not even and they basically provide all the basics you’d be surprised actually haha The location is convenient and the professionalism from the staff including the cleaning staff also was above and beyond! PLUS they are pet friendly and honestly it’s so refreshing to see establishments like that taking on pets, it’s such a positive way to go about it! To the staff of the quest, Thank you for such a memorable time and I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone I come across and I know exactly where to come if I need to also! Adios amigos x

Despite lack of on site parking the staff were amazing. The room was clean. Every time I walked into the lobby I was greeted with a smile and a hello or goodbye. Fantastic accomodation and I will be returning again.

Close to the airport. Suitable for long term stays. I've had positive experiences staying in Quest apartments so far.

View of the airport hangar. Too noisy, can hear the planes starting very early in the morning and early morning traffic. Gym was a joke - just a broken treadmill. Though service was great, would not recommend this hotel.

  • 4/5 Caress M. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely hotel, clean, nice sized rooms, pretty straight forward accommodation, easy to book a shuttle at front reception to the airport (domestic & international) which is only $8pp. Not too far of a walk to get to the Mascot train station.

Very helpful staff and overall a reasonable place to stay for a few days. Stayed 4 nights in 1bed apt. Furnishing in the rooms is fine. Laundry in bathroom with top loader and dryer. Detergent provided. Mattress/bed too soft. Kitchen well fitted out for making own meals full fridge and dishwasher. Good size living area for 2 people. May get crowded with more.

For budget accommodation I can recommend this place. For short stays and easy access to the Airport this location is ideal. I liked the environment and decor.

Great hotel, reasonably priced for one bed apartment. Rooms were clean and well appointed with full kitchen and laundry. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly (esp Claudia) Very close to airport. Parking underneath for reasonable price but plenty of street parking. Will definitely stay when next need an airport hotel.

A tad noisy, got bad neck pain as the pillows were too high and unfortunately couldn't change as it was already well into the night and there was no one at the hotel to provide service. Rooms are adequate for a quick budget stay. Really close to the airport if that's what you're after but we needed a restful night and unfortunately too noisy to allow that.

My partner made the booking and I stayed here with him. The studio was extremely small. It is pretty much a small hotel room with a tiny kitchen. The car parking fee is a rip off especially when it their own private car park. Plus it's an extremely tight. Just find a free car park on the street within a 4-5 minutes walk. The staff were mostly nice except for one by the name of Claudia who has a real problem with her attitude. The hotel is ok for a one night stay but I wouldn't recommend it for anything longer.

This time around being my second time in 2 years was not the great service I got the first time so therefore will stay at Branksome or even Adina my next visit. I was given a top floor airport bay view for 6days for the whole duration I had to endure a burning smell coming from range hood when in use. After 4 days and many visits from housekeeping going through the air conditioning vent, the owner came to the apartment and it was found to be the range hood after all. The range hood light was also broken the whole time, given that i was there for almost one week i cooked thank god the windows were able to be open. housekeeping came to change range hood light it but still wouldn't turn on so no range hood, no light and very smelly apartment. Had to do my bed everyday vacuum and ask for towels toilet paper tissues and a change of linen. When I asked why I had no housekeeping the whole 6 days, First I was told it was because it was Easter then I was told its because it was covid distancing. The owner wanted me to change rooms but I only had a few nights left so what was the point. Upon my check out I asked if my refund could be returned straight away given the inconvenience I was put through but that was a no from reception. I then sent and email yesterday about the refund, no response. Even though the service was friendly it did not make up for the inconvenience. Laura Rice Gold Coast

Where do I start? I stayed here for 45 days. Upon arrival, there was no hot water for the first 2 days. They charge you a day rate for parking, however they overbook the parking so even though you paid for parking, it’s not guaranteed. During our entire 45 day stay, looked like no one vacuumed or cleaned or if it was done, it was done extremely poorly. Under the bed was definitely never cleaned, found other peoples personal belongings under it. Lastly and what I’m most upset about is the fact this is a pet friendly hotel and my cat caught ring worm here.

booked an apartment room, got there, lovey reception lady. advised heater was not working and said will provide a heater 9pm the room is 11° and the heater does not work. checked out the same night and request a refund desk lady advised she’s notified the manager and will get back to me on monday since he does not work weekends two weeks later have not received any correspondence for my request. i have a cold from the cold room and a broken guarantee. never staying again and would not recommend. hotel is around nothing. you pay for an overnight stay, due to the broken heater it’s to cold to stay. checked out the same night. seems reasonable for a refund

Hello. It's a beautiful hotel however we came back to no running hot water and our room had not been cleaned. The service was polite but they had told us they would find a carpark for us and they had never arranged one. Reception Didn't really seem to care.

The apartments are not serviced. They only clean the rooms weekly if you are even staying that long. You have to take your rubbish out yourself to the basement to bins that are over flowing. The room I stayed in wasn't even cleaned upon arrival. There was half eaten food under the lounge cushions. The worst. Will never stay here again.

Easy peasy check in, close to airport, Uber eats deliver direct to room and airport shuttle arrived on time. Comfy bed and a handy little kitchenette to make tour own breakfast so you don't pay a fortune at the airport for it. Recommend

  • 1/5 Rochelle R. 1 year ago on Google
Non compassionate customer service. Booked through a 3rd party website that glitched and booked the stay for the date I made the booking (at 11pm SYD time, I'm in Perth), not for the planned dates to stay. The trip is for a funeral and money is tight. The hotel refused to change my dates or issue any refund. Now I may have to stay at the airport while I wait for my morning flight.

Cleanliness an issue. Fold out mattress was rough. Bathroom taps burning hot only. But super close to airport.
