I
booked
the
family
room
as
we
had
my
mother
in
law
with
us.
The
room
was
fine
except
one
huge
issue
that
means
I
will
never
consider
this
hotel
again.
Some
bright
spark
decided
that
instead
of
walls
on
the
bathroom
they'll
use
translucent
glass.
Not
ideal
when
you
can
see
the
silhouette
of
your
mother
in
law
taking
a
shower
or
sitting
on
the
toilet
(not
exaggerating).
Oh,
and
instead
having
a
normal
door
on
the
bathroom
like
humans
have
been
doing
for
centuries,
again
they
have
translucent
glass
with
a
big
gap
at
the
sides
and
bottom.
You
can
be
sitting
on
the
toilet
while
looking
your
mother
in
law
in
the
eye,
not
something
I'd
recommend.
Also
having
a
large
gap
around
the
door
means
that
everyone
in
the
whole
room
can
hear
and
smell
what's
going
on
in
the
bathroom.
And
who
needs
a
lock
on
the
bathroom
door?
Not
holiday
Inn
guests
apparently.
Need
to
go
to
the
toilet
in
the
middle
of
the
night?
Well,
that's
a
family
affair
as
the
whole
family
will
be
woken
up
by
this
event.
If
you
turn
the
light
on
in
the
bathroom
it
lights
up
the
entire
room
like
a
floodlight
on
the
Sydney
cricket
ground.
Why
does
it
light
up
the
whole
room?
Because
some
clever
architect
thought
that
building
a
bathroom
out
of
glass
was
a
good
idea.
It
isn't.
This
appears
to
be
a
thing
these
days.
I
stayed
at
the
Pullman
hotel
a
few
years
back
and
they
must
have
used
the
same
architect.
They
also
suffer
from
glass
bathroom
syndrome.
Unfortunately
now
The
Holiday
inn
is
now
permanently
off
my
hotel
options
along
with
the
Pullman.
